Extremely difficult to get my foot into, doesn't look like a $100.00 shoe.

I bought these to replace a beat-up pair of Clarks in a style they no longer make. The fit felt good all around, not too loose at the heel, comfy at the toe box, but the band over the instep seemed tight. I assumed it would stretch out a little. After two weeks I had to stop wearing the shoes. That band was biting into my instep and I found myself taking off my shoes in the afternoon while working at my desk and still coming home with the tops of my feet hurting. That band seems to be ironclad and inflexible, and it's not clear to me what purpose it is serving; I saw a review on another site that commented on this problem. I'm very disappointed, as I wear size 5, which limits me already, and I've tried on many promising work shoes that were too wide at the heel or too narrow at the toe box. I'm back to wearing my beat-up Clarks. That was a lot of money for shoes I'm not able to wear.

This shoe is too narrow but then loose in the heel. It did feel like it would be soft underfoot so I am disappointed.

So nice but I don't understand it. The 7 was so small I could not get into it, and the 7.5 feels too large. Have tried 18 pairs of shoes now trying to fit my narrow heel. Still trying.

Very narrow for an WW shoe

Too small. I ordered a half size larger than normal and could barely get them on. The edges also seemed to roll inward. Very disappointed.

I tried, I really did. First ordered my usual size and found the fit to be very odd. Couldn't even get one shoe on. Ordered half size up and the oddness still was there. It feels like the wonderful cushiony foot bed is filling the toe box. I honestly thought there was paper stuck in the toe. I hurt my toe trying them on. The embossed leather is really very handsome and I really wanted the shoe to fit. The top of the shoe sticks up above my foot and the sides gap. Very disappointing. Sorry Zappos, here comes a return.

I was very disappointed in this purchase. The shoe looked very comfortable but I couldn't even fit my foot into it. The XX wide width was not very wide at all.

I bought these and was not impressed with the material since they seemed to crease immediately after walking around. However they were comfortable and I was desperate for a supportive shoe for work. I stand almost all day at a salon. I never wore them in the snow or got them wet. After about 8 months the sole completely detached itself from one of the shoes. I would expect a shoe of this price to last at least a years. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I ordered this shoe in the same size I've worn for years and it's way too small and to be a wide, I don't find it to be wide enough. I'm ordering another size and width now.

I loved the comfort of these shoes when I first received them. I still do, however, the leather has not held up well. It is actually peeling in a couple of places and I have only worn them maybe six times. I will talk to someone about returning them. The leather is not of a great quality, unfortunately.

These shoes are a complete disappointment. These were so much smaller than expected, even with the reviews that say they run small. I order all my shoes as women's 7.5 and ordered these as 8.5 and could not even get them on my feet. I expected much better at this price. Now I see that the "top critical review" says exactly the same thing (also for size 8.5, coincidentally). Defectively mis-sized.

I was very disappointed with this shoe. I work in an office but my commute consists of standing for 30 minutes on the train and then walking 6 long blocks to work. I was hoping to find a really comfortable shoe that would help me with my increasing lower back, knee and heel pain. This shoe did neither. And it's an ugly shoe which I was willing to sacrifice beauty for comfort. First off the break in period was very painful. The back of the shoe rubbed against the back of foot so hard that it took some really thick moleskin to stop it from blistering. It took about a week until I was finally able to wear them without any band aids. My heel pain has not gone away and finally had to buy some super feet insoles for them which has helped tremendously. I would not buy these shoes again as they are expensive and ugly and don't really do anything for my aching feet and back. I really regret buying these shoes.

I wear a 7 and a half and usually get a half size larger to accommodate a hammer toe on my right foot. I ordered an 8 Wide, to give me extra room. I could barely get my foot into these, and walking in them around the carpeted room to try them out was painful with both sets of toes squished and my heal chafing. On the plus side they are well made and the cognac is really a beautiful light warm brown. Order a half to a full size larger. I've had good luck in the past with my size being true but am happy the return policy is so friendly here.

Based on other reviews, I ordered an 8WW which is a half size larger than my normal 7.5WW. I think the length of the shoe was okay at 8WW but the heel was so wide that I kept slipping out with every step. When I added socks, it helped somewhat but then the toe was cramped. The toe was too shallow; the toe width was okay but not enough height to the toe. Otherwise I like the style very much and if the heels had been narrower, they would have been very comfortable without socks. It's a pity they don't fit, and I am definitely returning them.

You have got to stop selling this shoe. I wore them for years, bought many pairs and they have definitely changed their sizing measurements. I recently had my foot measured so these should have fit and I could not even get my foot in. They are way off in size, I'll never order again. You should warn your customers!
