Arizona Soft Footbeds are Wonderful - This is my first pair of Birkenstock sandals. I bought the soft footbed and I love them. Comfortable from the start. I have a medium width foot and needed the narrow in this sandal. Fits perfect. I only wish that Birkenstock would make the soft footbed with leather uppers instead of the microfiber. More colors and styles in the soft footbed would be nice too!

SoftBeds - love the soft footbed - only type of Birk that I can tolerate. Would like to see more colors/styles w/ this soft footbed.

My first and last pair. :) I'd never owned a pair of Birks before, because they always seemed a little "hard" and "rigid," but when I saw they now are offered with a soft sole, I wanted to try them. Now I'm completely sold on them. I suffer from heel spurs, so finding a sandal that's nice looking and comfy with decent support is always a challenge (I later discovered a research report cited on the Birkenstock website that they were found to be helpful with heel spurs). I won't take a step this summer without these.

Unbelievably comfortable!!! I just received my soft footbed Arizona's. 'Been wearing Arizona's since the 1970's, but these are the best ever. I saw a review that said these weren't comfortable if you don't have much of an arch...well, I don't agree at all. I have somewhat flat feet and these couldn't feel better. I would (and already have) recommended these soft footbeds to anyone. Please make more colors so I can have more choices. I got the black and they look great!!!

Soft Footbed is Wonderful - I really like the soft footbed. Please make more styles and colors. It would be wonderful to have all the syles have a selection of soft footbed or regular. That way, everyone would be happy. I'll buy more once you have more choices.

The Best Slip On Sandals Ever! I Love the soft footbed that Birkenstock introduced! They feel excellent on my feet! Nice and soft! They fit comfortabally, and unlike the model that has the hard footbed, which I cannot wear because I have sensitive toes. They also feel like I am not even wearing them !

Great all-around shoe! I've had other Arizona sandals, but never with the soft footbed. Very comfortable, although it seemed a bit "mushy" at first (probably because I wasn't used to it). I like the suede, as it's always nice and soft from day 1.

Birkkenstock Sandals - Overall nice sandals.

First Birkenstock purchase - This is the first Birkenstock shoe I've ever owned and the first sandal I've bought in many years. I suffer from severe arthritis in both hips and with my limping walk, I believed a sandal would not provide enough support. To my pleasure, I've found this to be untrue. I also discovered that I was able to keep these sandals on my feet. Something I didn't think I'd be able to accomplish without a backstrap. I did have some difficulty adapting to the right-foot sandal as the inner arch support was a bit uncomfortable. That discomfort resolved itself within a week or so. Part of the breaking in process, I would guess. My only complaint now is that the bottom of my feet tend to get quite hot when walking in these sandals. I don't know if this is a common complaint or simply a personal problem. Overall, I've been very satisfied with my purchase. I have short, wide feet and the regular width accommodated my duck wedges quite nicely.

Feeling good! I am getting use to my Birkenstocks. This is my first pair but seem very comforable. I feel they are a little over priced. But would I buy them again. Yes in a heart beat. The service was great at Zappos also. Within 4 day of ordering they came very fast. Thanks Zappos.

Not sure if this sandal is better than the original Birk. The left sole of the sandal has a flaw in the padding and it rubs my toe. It is bubbled up in the wrong place. Also, I don't really like the look of this sandal compared to the original cork Birk sandal. They offer limited color choice. I wanted to try the soft sole and it is softer minus the flaw.

This is a soft footbed?! I have shoes with hard leather footbeds that are softer than these. I wish someone had warned me: unless you have a high arch, Birkenstocks are not for you. The arch is downright painful. It's too bad, because I love the look and the straps are almost infinitely adjustable. But I don't have much of an arch so I can't wear them.

Like a rock I have flat feet and peripheral neuropathy (non-diabetic). I had my feet make an impression and the mold was sent to Birkenstock for manufacture to fit my feet. I was so looking forward to slipping on a comfortable pair but terribly disappointed to find that the shoes had a rather severe arch built in. This felt like walking on a rock and caused my feet to roll to the outside.. miserable, double miserable!!! At $250 I expected better. Went to local Birkentstock and picked up a pair of Soft Footbed at $100. Left foot not so bad, but still quite uncomfortable. Right foot arch quite high and like walking on a rock. Foot does not roll to right. Shoe salesman says shoes will mellow in short time with wear???? What do you say??? A very disappointed, flat-footed customer...

Sucks - They're overpriced and very uncomfortable and ugly.

Dissapointment. I have corns on my feet, and these shoes, although are softer then average, still hurt my feet. It may be some kind of fungus infection where if I let this continue unoperated on, it could get in my bloodstream and I could die, or it could be that they were narrow and small for my feet, and I was in sheer pain throughout the entire experience.
