Great Shoe - Perfect fit for wide foot. So comfortable, I walked over six miles first time worn.

Wonderful - I have had a couple of pairs of the Birkenstock Arizona, and loved them. However, this was the first time I have tried the soft footbed sandal and have absolutely fallen in love with them. In fact, the day after I got them, I wore them on an all day outing and never once felt any discomfort, and I have a chronic problems with my feet. In addition to being thoroughly satisfied with my shoes, I have been as equally satisfied with Zappos. Their selection, quality of merchandise, expeditious shipping, and their unparalleled return policy are second to none.

Blessing for hurting feet! I am on my feet,on concrete,40 hours a week. I started have problems with my ankles. I had an old pair of Arizona's I worked in. They did not have the soft footbed. I had taken 3 pairs of shoes in a work day,but still suffered. Went to the Doctor, and she told me to get Birkenstock's. Searching for a pair was getting pretty frustrating, because there was so many places. But they did not have my size. I came across Zappo.com, ended up coming back to Zappo.com, after ordering other shoes, because I got my shoes in 2 days. Thanks Zappo.com for your help.

Big Foot - My husband wears size 13-EE. When I bought him several pairs of shoes from Zappos last year, one of them was the Birkenstock Arizona--Soft Footbed. I recently bought him another pair of these Arizonas as spares against the time when he will need a new pair. He wears them at every opportunity. The combination of good looks and comfort is a winner. The only negative in this equation is that Zappos no longer carries this size in the color(mocha)I bought last year, which was what I wanted.

Comfortable with Plantar Fasciitis problems - I have recently been diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis ("heel spurs") and before going to a podiatrist found my Birkenstocks to be the only comfortable shoes I could wear. When I saw the "soft footbed" version I ordered them even though I wasn't too crazy about how they looked. Now that I've had them for a while I don't really think they are alot more comfortable than the normal footbed. Had I known that, I would have purchased the very attractive Sambara--and I might still. My podiatrist told me to get running shoes. I immediately went to the mall and got the first pair of running shoes I could find. Then I researched "overpronation" (walking on the insides of your feet), which is the cause of my heel spurs. Found I needed "motion control" running shoes--which were impossible to find at the mall. So I came back to Zappos and ordered New Balance 815's. They should be coming today. Although the Birkenstocks are comfortable for my desk job, they won't do for extended walking with my condition. The running shoes allowed me to stay on my feet for an extended period of time. Zappos is a great place to buy shoes. And the only place to find anything out of the usual.

So comfy! I love these so much. I got a pair for my birthday last year and I wear them all the time. I love wearing them because I have a lot of knee pain, but when I wear these shoes I can stand and walk, even for long periods of time, with little to no pain. The only problem with them is that the suede on the sole is a little rough and it rubs on my arch a little bit.

Great sandal - This is my third Birkenstock sandal and second time I have ordered the exact same style. I ordered a second pair just so that I could dedicate one pair as my indoor slippers and the other pair for wearing outdoors. They are simply the most comfortable things I put on my feet.

Aaaaah, Birkenstocks.... This pair of Birks is my fifth pair in four years, and I'm totally sold on the soft footbed. I love my old styles, since they conform to my foot after about a week of wear; but this...this is heaven. I size down when I buy them (I wear a 7.5 in regular shoes, but a 36 in Birkenstocks)--my arch gets perfect support this way, and my heel fits right into the heel cup. But that's the way all Birkenstocks fit me. I have wide toes and narrow heels, so I buy the regular width. So so comfortable. I'll definitely buy more soft footbed Birkenstocks.

Everything I had hoped for... I feel that this shoe fits true to size and is very comfortable. Although they are a bit expensive, they are worth every penny.

The best part about these shoes is they didn't require breaking in! The soft footbed is wonderful. I put them on the first day and wore them the whole day. The service from Zappos was beyond expectation. I had the shoes one day after I ordered them. I highly recommend Zappos website!

I have these sandals along with other pairs of birkenstocks and I love them. They are the most comfortable shoes. My mom started getting birkenstocks several years ago because of her back and she hasn't been having anymore pain.

Walking on Clouds - Soft Footbed Birks are the only sandals I wear or have worn since I found them three years ago. They are like being in your slippers all day but with good support. I highly recommend them.

These are so much more comfortable than the "regular" footbed style that I used to wear. I love these and will stick with the soft footbed style from now on.

I have a few Birkenstocks, but never realized they came in narrow or regular. I usually wear a little wider width in a regular shoe, so when I ordered these, I chose the regular, then I felt that they are made in a more generous width than a regular shoe. I also noticed that I have to keep tightning the buckle, I assume it is because the microfiber material keeps stretching. I really like the soft feel of the footbed, I hope they make more styles in the soft footbeds. As always, I am very happy with Zappos exellent service!!

Amazing! So comfy, perfectly conformed to my foot. Makes walking a real treat and they are surprisingly cute! Even my teenage daughters complimented me when I wore them. Zappos is the best! Great Sandals, Great Customer Service - Excellent fit, feel, and comfort, as you would expect from Birkenstock, and excellent customer service from Zappos. I bought the sandals on Wednesday and received them Friday. I found them advertised for a few dollars less somewhere else, so I emailed Zappos and within 4 hours was issued a 110-percent price protection refund.

Great - I never wear sandals. I recently moved to Florida from Maryland. My wife bought the exact same pair for my son [who also lives in FL. at Christmas]. While at their home I decided to try them on and I loved them. So I had my wife order me my first pair of Birkenstocks sandals. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I have trouble with my arch in my feet and these sandals give me grat support. They are made made truely to fit and support your arch, yet be very comfortable. I like how they look and feel.

Great service, Great shoe - Having had toe surgery lately, this sandal is just perfect for the recovery period. Have never had a "Birky" before, but this will not be my last. A great, comfortable shoe which works so well WITHOUT orthotics! A new fan of Birkenstocks here.

Good for Planter Fasciitis - I bought these as house shoes since I have hardwood floors through most of my home. If I wear them constantly from the moment I step out of bed, my heel pain is almost alleviated. I did have to return my first pair because they felt a full size larger than marked.

5 years - I have worn these shoes for 5 summers and they are the best. Errr, a little stinkey now. Have to buy a new pair, even Dr Scholls foot spray cant help me now.
