I bought these shoes because my girlfriend has a pair and she can't take them off. I bought a size smaller than what I usually wear. These shoes stretch out the more you wear them. Be prepared they do hurt at first when you break them in but it is all worth it.

These are the best work shoes! I stand on my feet all day and my feet have never hurt wearing these shoes. They break in very well and are super comfortable. I would recommend these to anyone, especially people with wider feet.

Great shoes - I like these shoes because they are dressy, but still casual enough to wear with jeans. They are really great once they are broke in, which takes about 3-4 days of wearing them.

Good Looks! Not as Good Quality - Size was same as my other Doc's purchased in local store and are the same look but in brown. They look great, but my other Docs were made in England, and you can tell a difference. These buckles do not have the elastic strap and the connection to the shoe appears to be lower quality. I am keeping them, just wish I could have the same shoes as my favorite brown doc's made in England.

I love Dr. Martens! I was originally planning on buying a UK 7, as I normally wear US 9. I'm glad I tried these on in a store first. I ended up needing a size smaller. Zappos shipped these quick - I received them in 1 business day! Once I put them on, I quickly remembered why I love Docs: great looking and comfortable. All the pairs I've owned over the years were never worn out...instead they were destroyed in the hurricane. Such a dependable brand! Dr. Martens never disappoints me!

Doc Martens 8065 - I wear these shoes for 8-9 hours a day, on my feet, working retail. I did need to put in cushy insoles for maximum comfort, but I have no back issues anymore after a day of work and can go all day lifting, walking and performing my job comfortably. I'll never buy any other work shoes!

My most favorite shoes ever. My husband bought these for me for Christmas in 1999 I have worn them almost daily since then. My beloved shoes finally broke today, almost 7 years after I got them. I will be replacing them with another pair exactly the same. They are so comfortable and look good with everything from jeans, to long skirts and even some short skirts if you're going for that "school girl" look.

Classic Shoe - This is a great shoe, though I suggest ordering your normal shoe size, because if you make the mistake like I did of taking other reviews advice and ordering a half size, or a full size smaller than your usual size, you will most likely have to deal with returning your shoes because these shoes do run true to size. Overall, these are great shoes.

As good as it gets... Pair 3 of the 8065 series, pair 15 in my collection of Doc's. Most comfortable, durable shoes on the planet. Thanks to Zappos for their amazing service.

Docs Never Fail - These shoes are comfortable and look great with anything. You can always count on Doc Martens. They are worth every penny.

Too cute- They were a little stiff at first. I normally wear an 11, but it was too big. About a half to a whole size too big. I ordered the 10s and they fit almost perfectly.

Consistently excellent quality and fit. If you own Doc Marten's, then you know what you're getting - a well-made, supportive shoe. If you don't know Doc Marten's, then you might give them a try.

My new favorites - I love these shoes. They are super comfortable and I can wear them with jeans or nice pants. I bought a pair of brown ones about 10 years ago and still wear them all the time.

Great Shoe! This shoe is just what I've been looking for with casual long skirts! It is very comfortable! These shoes are a little on the big size and don't come in half sized, but I've found that buying an insole for the inside remedies the problem!

Not the same as most- These are great, run a little smaller than most Docs though. Also stiffer at first and take a little longer top break in, but worth the effort!

Great everyday shoe- Once I was able to fit the correct size, this shoe is very comfortable. I found it runs a size larger than my size 11 foot. They are easy to slip on and off (once they are broken in), and I wear them with jeans as well as office dress slacks. Very nice.

BEST SHOES EVER!! These shoes are the best!! They are so cute and go with everything from jeans to skirts and slacks. I would highly recommend them. They last forever too, I have had mine for six years and still wear them all the time! I like them so much I am going to buy the brown ones!! One caution though, they might hurt your feet before you break them in since they are pretty rigid to begin with.

Best shoes EVER! I used to wear these to work, and even if the day was horrible, my feet did not hurt. Sadly, after 7 years of daily wear, they are almost up for retirement.

Docs are Awesome! Can't go wrong with a pair of Doc's. Sturdy, attractive and versatile. They run big, so go smaller instead of bigger if you are unsure of your size.

Magic shoes- These are by far the best shoes I have ever owned. I'm actually buying a brown pair now, but my good ol' blackies have helped me work like a mule for the last six years, everyday. Ps: they look great with every outfit.

You have to spend money to make money. I bought these shoes in 2000 for a waitressing gig. I wore them to work EVERY DAY for 4 years. That's more than 8,000 hours of working on my feet, and they're still going strong. The fact that they run a shade big (and are wide-ish) aids in their comfort. I had to replace the elastic straps a few times and invest in good insoles for extra comfort, but they have been the the best wardrobe investment I've ever made. And they're super-cute, too!

My wife just bought a pair of Dr Martens 8065's in lt. brown. She asked me if I liked them and I said yes. She said that men wear them too and she asked me if I would like to try them on, and I said yes. WOW!!! They are the most confortable shoes I ever wore. I wear a mens size 8 (UK-8) and she wears a womans size 10(UK-8) I went and bought 2 pair for myself in black smooth and dk. brown. WOW!!! Now we wear each others.

Excellent Shoes - I have been wearing Docs for over 15 years now and needed a more, mainstream looking shoe. These have made it through 2 pregnancies where they were all I could comfortably wear and still look great. I never seem to be happy with any other shoes I have (25+pairs) and end up wearing these almost every day.

Review of shoes - The Doc Martens are all that we expected. Zappos delivered on time! The only comfort issue is typical of any new shoe - just breaking them in for the first few days.

Doc Martens - They are very comfortable... get a size smaller than you usually would... they are worth the money.
