Makes things lok like new - A few of my really scuffed-up shoes look like new now. I was a little alarmed when I polished my leather purse and some of the creases and water stains suddenly stood out more, but the next day they had all faded. I guess it can take some time to set properly. All of my shoes and my purse look great now.

Great product - Great product,I have used other conditioners and this is great.It has a sponge with it and make applying it easy. Made a older pair of doc's look a lot better.

great product - This is a wonderfully easy product to use and really improves your shoes, even if they are brand new. It protects from rain or spills, and softens and shines, all in easy application steps. The sponge to apply is in the container, so there is no looking around for something to use. When you are ready just open the jar. I advocate getting this for all your smooth leather shoes

Good stuff - Overall good buy. It keeps the leather of my new boots looking nice and they have resisted salt/rain/snow. I applied this to a pair of older black boots and it actually made them wearable again… before the salt stains were way too noticeable, but afterwards, they almost disappeared.

Dr. Martens Wonder Shoe Balsam - This is a great product. Easy to use with great results. I applied to an old pair of shoes and they snapped right back. They looked great and repelled water/snow like they used.

Great product - My husband and I are chemically sensitive and were looking for a dye free, unscented product to use on our leather shoes to restore color, luster, and suppleness. This product fits the bill. We love it!

Amazing Product - I purchased this for my new Clarks shoes, but my entire family has fallen in love with this product. It cleans, moisturizes, and polishes all leather products. The name Wonder Balsam does not do it justice. We have restored boots to their original shine and luster that we were ready to throw out. This is an amazing product!

Dr. Martens Wonder Shoe Balsam - ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PRODUCT!! I would highly recommend this product. If you need to "revive" a favorite shoe, this is the product to use & work the $$ spent on the product. I took b/4 & after pictures for my own use...it is amazing the difference. My husband's dress shoes had worn to the point they were in the bottom of the closet-forgotten. I applied the shoe balsam when he was at work-showed him his shoes when he came home--he didn't even recognize them!!! They look good as new & the inside of the shoe was not so well worn that he could not wear them. Now he has a second pair of casual/dress shoes if needed!

Saved my new boots! A few days ago, I bought a pair of black leather Aerosoles boots from Zappos. They were the last pair in my size. When they arrived, I was dismayed to realize that there was an odd greyish mark all down the front of the right boot. It looked almost like a salt stain, but did not come off when I rubbed it with a damp cloth, so it must have been some imperfection in the leather. Knowing that I wouldn't be able to exchange the boots for another pair, I spied my fiancé’s tub of Wonder Balsam sitting on the desk. I'd never used it before, but figured "Well, it's worth a shot." I'm so glad I tried it before returning the boots. A small amount of the wonder balsam made the grey mark disappear! Intrigued, I grabbed an old pair of knee-high black leather boots of mine that have a matte finish. The leather was pretty badly scratched and scuffed in some areas. I rubbed them down with the balsam, and behold! They looked as good as the day I bought them. No scuffs, no scratches, no marks to be seen! Here I must confess that I went a big hog wild with the stuff. I was like a madwoman, buffing and polishing and balsaming every pair of leather shoes I own. I used it on black shoes, brown shoes, burgundy shoes...no color change at all, but the scuffs just disappeared. My shoes all look great, and while my hands did get a bit sticky, there was no residue left on the shoes. It all soaked in after a few minutes, leaving the leather soft and supple, but not gunky or sticky feeling. I walked through a rainy parking lot today, and while my shoes got soaked the leather still looks great. I'd recommend this product to anyone! I got to keep my new boots, and my old ones all look fantastic!

Fabulous product - I bought a tub of this about a year ago... everything leather in my house from couches to shoes to pocketbooks have been treated several times. It even restored an old beat up pair of favorite black shoes that had salt stains on them - it took several applications, but they look new. My couch also has benefited greatly and looks fantastic almost new. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

Amazing - I bought this product on its outstanding reviews. The product did not let me down. It performs amazingly and gives a brilliant finish. My son needed a perfect "shine" for inspections in the FDNY academy. It is superb!

Amazing & Addictive - I had a tub of this stuff about 8 years ago that I found at Nordstrom shoes. It was amazing, and I used it on all leather goods from shoes to jackets to handbags to belts...or anything I could find! It really does become addicting. It's like polishing your leather, without all the mess, and it actually conditions the leather to keep it lasting longer. A tub lasts a long time, and it's only now, years later that I was on a hunt for a new tub. I was so happy to find it on Zappos. When I got it in the mail, I immediately conditioned my handbag and impressed my coworkers as they saw a pair of worn out leather sandals made to look brand new again. It was almost like a live infomercial.

Good stuff! I bought this item for my husband and he loves it. It cleans and softens without much effort. We'll definitely buy it again.

Definitely worth the price. Keeps your Docs looking like new.

Chris - This stuff is expensive but it goes a long way. I used it on my soccer shoes, and leather Puma Speedcats, leather Skechers, along with my Dr. Martens. Makes them look new. Does a good job repelling water, but if you get shoes real wet you have to reapply.

Small Wonder - I think the Shoe Balsam is a very good value considering how long it lasts. You can use it on several pairs of shoes/boots and it lasts for ages. I like the fact that it waterproofs the leather of your Docs which is great for the kitchen work environment that I work in. Also gives a slight shine, more of a deep clean look really. Nice. I think it works better than Mink Oil, but that’s just my opinion. I will keep buying the Balsam!

Great Shoe Protection - This is great shoe protection. Covers small scuffs. Offers great protection for the shoe without leaving a ridiculous shine or very oily texture.

A must for your Docs - The Wonder Balsam completely restored the original finish to my Dr. Martens. However, I should note that I bought this with my Docs and began using it to maintain the finish after the first wear or two. It is very easy to use, just wipe it on with the provided sponge. A little goes a long way. I haven't tried it yet on my other shoes (by other brands), but I would be willing to do so. However, I don't believe it would give shoes a shine - just that matted polished look Docs have.

Tis the season - So far we have only had a chance to use the Wonder Balsam on a baseball mitt. However, if it does as well on shoes, I'm stocking up!

Awesome - Practically the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on. They fit well, they feel like slippers. They are kind to my wide, flat feet.

Great Product - I was glad that I had found this product available. I have used it on my Timberlands and they look like new again.

DM's rocks!! I have black and brown leather boots which I wear all winter long. My brown boots were starting to show a lot of scuffing and discoloration. I came across this product on Zappos.com and decided to try it before taking them in to the cobbler to be treated. I'm so glad I did. It is incredible how well it works to condition the leather and minimize the scuff marks!! I am not easily amazed and this product AMAZED me. Buy it for all your leather shoes. I'm going to spend my weekend, treating all of mine to this great conditioner and have shiny shoes come Monday!!

Good Leather Protection - I use it on everything leather. Easy to apply and doesn't leave any residue. Good stuff!

Love It - I was impressed when I first use the Balsam. I had read one negative review and was skeptical. But after I used it for myself, this is a wonderful product. I recommend it to everyone.

This product is quite expensive considering the amount of the balsam that you get in one container. A little bit spreads a long way though. I've used it on my boots and the balsam has really revived the leather. I don't think it is as effective on shoes that have been used in the snow or have been exposed to some salt. I still put it on just to add a layer of protection to my shoes. I think it's a great product to have if you want to keep your shoes in their best condition.
