Great Stuff - This is the best stuff I've ever found for conditioning leather. It's better than shoe polish for giving leather a nice sheen. I tried it on the badly scuffed toes of my Docs, and you can't even tell they had scuffs in the first place, they look like new again!

Just what I was looking for - Needed some protection for my leather shoes - this is a great leather conditioner that is colorless and makes the shoes look like new.

This is great! I currently live and work overseas in an area where my shoes can get pretty dirty. I have been in a rush a couple of times and have used when my shoes were covered in dust! No problem! This balsam covered up the dirt and made my shoes look new! I definitely recommend this. Not a big deal to me...just a heads up, came in a black Dr. Martens container and not the grey/silver container that is shown in the picture.

Good and expensive - Good stuff but very expensive. A better deal is mink oil or beeswax. They don't smell as nice (who smells thier shoes, anyway) but much better deal.

Wow! This stuff really works well - I used it on shoes, purses, belts and even my leather jacket. It cleaned them up quite nice and since it’s clear the color of the item doesn't matter it will work.

Always True - Works like a charm. Ended up using it on all my leather shoes. What a big difference. Provided moisture and luster to worn leather.

My shoes would be dead without it. This stuff is great. It's already helped to minimize a couple of major scuff marks.

Wonder Shoe Balsam - Dr. Martens Wonder balsam not only protects your shoes/boots, but it also restores newness to old semi dry leather shoes. I applied it to my work boots that were very dry from the extreme conditions they are in daily, and after a good cleaning and applying the balsam the leather looks almost like new again. It also pre-treats leather well to prevent drying out. A good product, with awesome customer service from Zappos, I'd say you can’t go wrong ordering this if you wear leather shoes regularly

Good stuff! This stuff is easy to use and does a great job. I've always tried to take care of my shoes (and other leather goods) and this is an easy way to give them the protection they need. It doesn't change the color of the leather and doesn't make it sticky like other protectants.

Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam is Wonderful - I used this on a pair of vintage boots that had been lying up in the attic for years and were a mess. They even had some mold on them. This balm made them look like a brand new pair of boots!!!

Really is a Wonder Balsam! Wonder Balsam works great, I first used on my work boots and made them look new. Easy to apply. With a reputation that Dr. Martens has, I ordered with confidence.

Amazing substance - This goo is great for helping to break in your Dr. Martens and protects them from moisture. It softens and protects the leather on the shoes and seemingly lasts forever. I've worn Docs for about ten years and I just had to buy my second jar recently. The secret is not to use too much, just a small amount goes a long way.

Love this stuff! This wonder balsam is THE product to keep all of my shoes looking polished, smooth, and professional. It masks tiny marks in the leather, removes dust and residue, and leaves all my shoes (not just my Docs) shiny and protected. I would recommend this product to absolutely anyone.

Shoe Conditioner- Haven't found anything better- love your Wonder Balsam. It conditions and adds a satin finish. It's not available locally so I order it on line. Thanks for the wonderful product and your quick response.

A must for leather-shoe owners- I was skeptical at first... but when I tried it on a pair of badly-scuffed boots, I was amazed. The balm is clear, goes on neatly with a minimum of fuss, and doesn't smell weird (it doesn't smell at all, in fact). This stuff not only shined the boots right up, it has KEPT them shining like new. I immediately polished all my leather shoes- and they now look as good as they did when I bought them. Thank you for a truly great product!!

Better than any shoe oil or protector I've used!! I use my Boots in all the elements and have found that Dr. Martens Balsam works better and last longer than any thing I have tried before. It works great for breaking in also. One can will last longer than you think. Dose not leave an oily film on everything either. I work Construction and do Snow Removal so I have put it through a lot this winter and would highly recommend it for new and used Boots and Shoes.

BUY THIS!!! If you own Docs or any leather shoe for that matter, you NEED to buy this! It takes scuffs out and keeps your Docs looking like brand new! You don’t need to use a lot so it lasts forever! Buy this and you will NEVER want to go without it again... you will NOT be disappointed!

Wonder? DM's Balsam is a wonder- how does it work so wonderfully? Had a black leather car coat- soft leather- and it was scratched from schlepping my equipment (I'm a professional photographer). Easy to use sponge applicator without an offensive odor. Applied it twice over the entire coat- scratches gone and plenty left for many other uses. It really does waterproof as well. Buy it- it's worth the price.

A Great way to keep your Docs looking day one sharp!

This stuff works - No odor. Just conditioned, shiny shoes. I bought this with my new Doc's. Zappos recommended this item. I think it is definitely a must have if you buy Docs.

Dr. Marten's "MIRACLE" Wonder Shoe (& Purse) Balsam - I am a first-time Dr. Marten's Wonder Shoe Balsam user, and I bought it as a result of the reviews given by previous users. Glad I did! It worked minor miracles on my old, "beater" Coach purses, and gives a healthy dose of conditioning to my better ones. When I first got it, I pulled out my oldest, most beat-up purse to see what it could do. I was amazed! Not only did it greatly improve the looks of the purse, it did so to the degree a friend wanted to buy it from me to give as a present to her daughter! (True story.) Prior to Dr. Marten's Balsam treatment, I had considered throwing the purse away. The only thing I can say negative about it is that it's a bit greasy, but even that goes away in a few minutes after it has soaked in. Anything that can make this much difference to leather deserves raves and kudos. Thanks!

Good stuff- Very effective. Used on shoes and briefcase. Makes them look almost new again.

A Little Dab'll Do You - Works as advertised. It just takes a little bit of wonder balsam on the enclosed sponge, and your leather boots and shoes will look rejuvenated. I've put the product on a couple of boots and dress shoes, and when coupled with shoe trees, the leather looks like new and wrinkles are much less noticeable. Good stuff and really, a little bit is all you need.
