The shoes are perfect and Zappos was once again amazing with the shipping. We ordered Thursday night at 9:45 and had the shoes by Friday at 1PM--all with the free shipping!

Excellent Shoe. I would highly recommend this shoe. Fits true to size and only takes a short time to break them in. The quality of the shoe is superior!

Best work shoe for me - First, kudos to the great Zappos service. This is a classic shoe design. I like the fact that I can feel assured that the size I wear is the same across all the Dr. Marten designs. I wore the shoes all day at work the first day I received them. Never a sore spot. Good support and ample room for my feet.

DMs are the best - I have flat feet and often struggled in finding shoes that I am comfortable with. I bought the DM 8063 is to replace my old 8063's which has lasted me for almost 3 years. I'm in the IT field and I use this pair for everyday use. It survived crawling under desks, carrying equipment and tools falling on them. Also the shoe is highly recognizable... People know you have good shoes when they see the yellow thread. This will be my 4th pair of DMs. I highly recommend this pair.

Awesome shoes - They took a few days to break in - after that, great comfort. They feel a little smaller than 1460 boots of the same size. Wear them at the office - it's all in the yellow stitches :-)

Amazing! I bought this shoe at the end of 2000 sometime. I needed something to wear in the "business casual" environment. Well, here I sit with those same shoes on my feet right now as I type this. Since that purchase, I've worn them to work 95% of the time. And honestly, they still look amazing. Sure the back padding is worn out cause I just slip them on and off instead of tying them. Sure the original laces are frayed on the ends (only because of my dog). But they've been so much better than those cheaper cool looking Sketchers I bought 4 or 5 years ago that I never even wear. These are the single best shoes I've ever had. Comfortable, great looking, and durable. The sad news is, I just bought the Zack 7 Eye boot today. That means these guys will slowly get phased out. It's not their fault though. They've had a good life. 8 shoe years is about like 140 human years.

Great Shoe - I have always loved this style of Dr. Martens. Been buying them for many years. Great comfortable shoe, they break in quick and are long lasting!

Best shoes, Great Service - My husband is on his feet all day. These shoes are very comfortable and great for your back. As far as service, Zappos is awesome.

Mom approved. The 8053 series was purchased for my 27 year old daughter as a birthday gift. She has worn Docs since high school, including the knee high white full lace up style which she wore to her senior prom. Not kidding! :) Besides the style, she loves the comfort and endurance of this shoe. It is great not to have to nag her to be nice to her feet and wear "good" shoes. There may be a pair in the future for her dear old Mom. I need happy feet too!

Do not come in 1/2 sizes, Order smaller size.

Overall, just an awesome shoe - This shoe is great; it looks amazing and is very comfortable. I primarily wear them with jeans when going out. The only reason I'm not buying a pair in brown is that I'm on a student's budget (otherwise I would've ordered those a couple days after I got these). The only downside is that they feel a half size bigger on me (I wear a 12 US), but that's not that big of a problem.

Doc Marten 8053 - Love these shoes! This is about my 4th pair. The only brand that will last over a year for me. I’m on my feet all day and these keep me comfortable and still look good.

I love them - These shoes are awesome because I can either wear them to my job that is business casual or to my job at fast food. I can even wear them with jeans.

Dr. Marten review - The shoe is hard to fit to my foot. No half sizes. Either too tight or too loose. It is a VERY durable and long lasting shoe that looks better after time. But the comfort initially is an issue with me.

Great shoe! Looks great... feels great. Wipes clean with a damp cloth and looks brand new again.

Great shoes! This is my 6th pair in a row (12 years)! They fit great, look great, and are casual enough for jeans, but professional enough for business casual. Zappos might be the best online company I have ever dealt with too... I ordered these shoes at midnight, and were at my door when I got home from work the next day! Unbelievable!

Great work and comfort shoe - Hope these last as well as my 12 year old pair, they aren't made in England anymore.

Great shoes - I really like these shoes. They have a nice clean look and feel. It could be a little more comfortable, but definitely worth it.

Great Comfort Shoes - These shoes are very comfortable and I have enjoyed wearing them. I walk a great deal in my job and my feet feel great after a long day. I bought these initially because I felt they would perform well under adverse weather conditions and they have.

Ouch - The shoes were quite painful at first but extremely comfortable after about 2 weeks of wear.

A Classic - I bought these Docs for my boyfriend, who has been wearing them for many years now. Once a pair wears out he gets a new pair, but not to say that these wear out fast. Quite the opposite, tried and true, these classic Docs are always a good purchase.

Live up to their name - The break-in time has been fast. The all-leather insoles are nice. Great tread, reasonably fashionable look (tech industry). My first pair of Docs.
