Love my Dr. Marten's! I have wanted a pair of these shoes for quite a while, but never got around to paying the exorbitant prices for them here in NYC. Imagine my glee to find the perfect pair for the perfect price at Zappos!

UK Made are still around! I just purchased these tonight. So far I love them! I found that there is still a very large supply of these that are made in England.

Union Jack Now Extinct - Superb shoe in every way. Feels like walking on springs. Look and fit are outstanding. Incredibly, I found a pair in Charlotte, NC that was made in England. This brand has been made in China for over a year now. Doc Martens claims that quality has not suffered due to the move to China, but somehow it isn't the same. Note also that the price of Docs has not gone down since the English factories closed.

7 Years! I wore a pair of these everyday, all-day for 7 years. They last a long time! Now I'm buying a new pair for the next 7 years.

Dr. Martens's 8053 - My husband realy loves these shoes. He works long 12 hour days and is on his feet. He never complains about his shoes hurting his feet. I buy him a new pair each fall. Same style, same color.

Best pair of Docs ever! This is by far the best pair of Docs I've ever owned. They feel a whole lot closer to my regular size 10.5(US) than any of the size 11(UK) Docs that I've had. Really comfortable!

Docs are the best! I love Docs because they are so comfortable. I bought these shoes for my daughter's father and he loves them. They are his first pair of Docs and I wanted to share how much I love them with him. The only down side to Docs is that they don't have too much warmth to them in the snowy weather up here. The leather stays cold but once you get inside they take a little to heat up.

Excellent! Very comfortable, true to size, my husband and my son-in-law both loves them,s ays they are so comfortable they can wear them all day!

A Classic - I was still wearing my Doc's from 1991 up until this month. They were still in great shape, no degredation, but they just looked worn and the sole was pretty much completely smooth. So I figured I may as well stick with a good thing! My old pair was a size 9UK, and my steel-toe Doc's for work are also a size 9UK, so I tried this new pair in the same size, but they seemed a little tight in the toe this time around! Unfortunately, since they don't come in half sizes, and the 10UK was just too big, I'm left to break these in a little over the next few months.

Made in China or Made in UK, makes no difference at all - Bought my third pair of Doc Martens and once again they are awesome shoes, almost change my mind when I read Anonymous in Texas comment; however I'm glad I disagree and did not follow his view. Made in China/Made in England, it really made no difference, I still wear them with the same comfort and ease and workmanship is just as good as ever. I highly recommend to everyone to buy a pair of any kind of Doc Martens and try them. This pair is one of the best pair I have owned. Do I doubt shoes made in China? I’m sure Doc Martens have applied the same standards in all their shoemaking; after all, 90% of the world’s footwear is made in China.

None - Bought my first pair of Docs after reading all of the reviews and talking to friends. Started wearing them and the inside stitching on the right foot rubbed terribly and rendered them unwearable. Returned them and found a pair made in England, (not China) and they fit just fine. Better workmanship in subtle ways, most notably the stitching on the inside. They also felt a bit larger all around, which was an okay thing. I'd bought a pair of boots (made in England) and they were great. It may have been just that one pair, but I'd be hard pressed to buy another pair of Chinese Docs.

My docs are awesome! Comfortable and durable. I am a ceramics teacher which requires a good sole to avoid slipping on clay dust, water and slip. I have several pairs that all have held up over many years! They are my favorite!

I LOVE THE SHOES AND THE PRICES! My boys each bought these shoes for school, this is the 3rd year to do so. These are the ONLY shoes I know that last a full year on athletic boys. They attend a prep school that requires dress shoes daily, these are the BEST!

You'll be addicted soon - I bought my first pair of Docs when I was a freshmen in high school in 1992 and have owned a total of 8 pairs since. I love them! I currently wear this style because if my job. I recommend you buy the leather conditioner for them because of the brown finish. They kind of heel themselves in regards to the scars, but if they get wet they'll have that lived-in look (but you'll be living in them anyway because they are so darned comfy!). I've worn them everyday since and they still feel like I'm wearing slippers! I've had low green suede, blue leather boots, low black leather, basic boot black leather, black leather with metal grasps (not the loops), and maroon leather and mid black leather boot. I love them and if you have to do a lot of walking or hanging around, these shoes are for you. I used to wear them around my horses and you can ride in them also beacuse of the heel. It's a great brand, you'll be hooked, I'm getting married in the winter time and am planning on buying a pair of white boots for the occasion!

The best shoe ever, I'm on my fourth pair! This is the best shoe that I have ever worn. Very comfortable, well built, stylish, appropriate for both formal and informal settings. Needless to say, I have a wide foot. I spent the first 28 years of my life in shoes that were either to long or to narrow. If you have had a similar problem, this is the shoe for you!

Buy these! These are the first pair of Doc's that I have ever owned (got 'em after my girlfriend told me her's had lasted for years and were still going). They have been simply outstanding! VERY durable through all sorts of weather and terrain, comfortable (although an insole would probably help the arch feel better after a long day on them), and look good for work, clubs, streetwear, etc. I have had the gaucho crazy horse brown, I am now signing off to go buy the greasy black!!! Worth every penny (have gone through two pairs of the Skechers in the time I've had the Docs). BUY THEM NOW!!

Doc Martens 8053 - I discovered these shoes during my residency. Worked 100 hours a week and wore them every day. This my second pair and I won't work in any other!
