Rocking Doc Martens - They're comfortable, they're good looking, they'll last forever, what more could you want?

Doc Martens review - I've been wearing Doc Martens since 1997, and what can I say? The classic, stylish boot. My only complaint is that the last pair of Docs I purchased were UK size 10.5, but I could not find them in this size online (on various sites). The UK size 11 still seem to be OK, but this is my only real complant.

This is my second pair of these, they're great-looking and idnestructible, and this was the best price I had found.

I love these boots! I'm wearing these boots as I write this. They've got it all, comfort and style. What I like best is that they look good with casual office wear, with jeans, or in a club; very versatile. And the best part is the character you get to add to them!

Comfy, clunky - These were my first pair of Docs ever, and they turned out very comfy. I wear them all the time, but one does have to get used to some extra room inside the shoe. Don't buy if you want tight boots. Service was awesome, very fast!

I Love Zappos - True to fit and width. I have had my boots now for over six years. I wear them many days at a time in bad weather (2 degrees and much warmth I may add) hot weather and wet. The leather is of the finest quality and can keep it looking nice with much ease! I like mine to look nice all the time. This is the only type of boot that has held up to my needs. I also have wore them in horrible weather condtions, and attend many car shows that fluids end up all over my boots. What a nightmare for me, but they ALWAYS clean up nice and look like new. Truly amazing indeed. As you know the leather needs to be broken in (this was with ease for me, felt great) and they feel so wonderful. No rubbing marks or sore feet can walk forever and have in them. Just wish I had found the Zappos site sooner. The Zappos price is so much better here! I had to pay an un-godly mall price for these boots. I sure don't regert it, but I am so thankful I found Zappos now. I have placed an order for two pairs of boots (DM's and UGGS) at Zappos, I have to wait and let you know how I love the new itmes I am waiting for. PS I am an older lady that has an edgy look (Rock/Punk) and I lace my boots up too cool so I can just slip them on. I tie the inside shoeslaces so no knots or ties show. This also made them (I get a little lazy about doing the laces all the time) slip on. Can't wait to order these in red. Thank you and peace to all.

Thats why they call them airware - I love this boot. It was comfortable from the time I put it on. I didn't experience the "new boot" break in period. My feet never ached like they sometimes do the first few days. Thank you Zappos! I will never buy another shoe any where else, fast friendly service.

Lasts for years - I got my first pair of Docs about six years ago and finally wore them out after wearing them everyday.

The Best Shoes I Have Ever Owned, PERIOD! I have owned a pair for one year. Not only are they extremely comfortable, they incite compliments from everyone, including my "hip, in the know" young adult children. I saw a similar pair on the feet of Johnny Depp once. His looked like they never left his feet given how worn the uppers were. I figured, if they're good enough for Mr. Depp, they're good enough for me!

Best boot or shoes in the world - I got my first pair of Dr. Martens when I was 15!. I still wear them! They have a few holes, but they still do well in the pits. I just got my new pair and I'm 30. Take care of them and they take care of you!

The best ever - I love these shoes. I bought my first pair of "docs" in 1995 and they lasted me until 2000, they always were very comfortable and they got a heck of alot of wear and tear! Well worth the money, they will outlast any shoe!

Superb - I bought my boots a few weeks ago. I first got them and I tried them on I was like "man, what's the big deal with these boots." But soon they loosened up and formed to my feet now I will not take them off untill bed time. They found a customer for life. I still have to wear my Converse chucks some though.

I usually wear a size 9 in Most shoes. I ordered a size 8 and 9 and the 8 fits perfectly. They definitely need a break in period because they feel stiff.

I love these shoes! But. ..I had bought a size 10 a while back and they were so small they killed my feet over the top of the foot, so I ordered a size up and I swim in them,

I've been a long-time Dr. Martens 1460 wearer over the years, and these are no different. Consistent fit and quality are what keep me coming back, although you won't have to that often since these boots usually last a good 5yrs+ when cared for. I chose the Grizzly color for a new office/shop environment which works well without having to switch to full-dress shoes. All-in-all a great boot with no-frills.

Nice boots, but not the Docs I used to wear back in the late '80s and early '90s. The leather is not as thick which makes the break-in period easy on the ankles, but I don't think they will last like my old ones did. If you can afford it, go with the Doc Martens for Life instead which have thicker leather. I always wear a size 8 shoe and these were no different in sizing. Toe box is a little narrower than what I am used to, but fit fine nonetheless.

Great pair of shoes! A bit stiff to have a period of break-in time, but very cool looking.

A great boot! Not the same as the made in England Dr. Martens, but still a great boot. Comfortable and broke in quickly.

Very comfortable shoes to wear. I would have kept mine except for the fact that they rubbed my ankle the wrong way.

They are decent boots. No break-in required for me. And the price is right. The only thing I can complain about is the color. My boots are a really dark brown. Much darker than that which the picture represents. If you don't mind, it's no big deal. If it is an issue, use Zappos' free return policy. The best on the web in my opinion. Oh, I kept my boots, off color and all.

These are beautiful, well-made shoes that I'm sure will last me a long time. I love tromping through the mud and rain and snow in them, but they are quite heavy! I'm still wearing them in after a month of not constant wear, so they still hurt the backs of my ankles sometimes and are overall rather heavy. It's not fun trekking across a big campus in these. Comparatively, I have some boots I got at Walmart that are probably look-alikes. These aren't as well made but they're lighter and easier to walk in. So look for something similar but less hardy if you want comfort, but for a pair of long lasting, classic boots, I recommend the Docs!

Have been a big fan of the Doc for years. But I'm now an even bigger fan of Zappos! Priced right. Delivered fast. Super return policy when I get my own shoe size wrong (it was the US/UK conversion thing!) Why shop anywhere else for Doc Martens, or, for that matter, any other footwear. 11 out of 10!

I like Dr. Martens 1460 because they are a minimalist, tough looking boot. I wear them to work in a business casual environment. They don't look as strange as something you'd get from the casual shoe section of your local sporting goods or discount clothier. I had to buy another gel insole due to the original insert feeling a bit flat, in my opinion. Other than that, these are a great boot!
