Dr Martens Dr Martens Dr Martens boots! I got these for vespa riding and they're perfect for the job! Comfy, durable, AND they go with most everything, I intend on buying another pair in 10 years (or so) because that's about how long they'll last! Hurrah!

Great boots!!! I got these in white and found them very comfortable and wearable. They looked great and did not scuff easily and cleaned up easily when dirty. I would buy them again. Run true to size.

Docs are docs - What can you say about docs? Great shoes. The best part is the delivery - got here in no time. Thanks zappos.

Hoppin Martens's - I bought my first pair of these Dr. Martens's over a decade ago while living in Atlanta and wore them daily until the leather feel off.. Recently, I decided I'd like to have another pair -so I searched the net and found the same Dr. Martens's at Zappos which I had worn 10+ years earlier -I quickly placed my order. The boots showed up on my front doorsteep 2-3 days later -quicker than noted on the Zappos site and I LOVE THEM -they fit perfectly, and LOOK GREAT! -just like the orginals did over a dedcade ago.. I consider the boot and buying experinece with Zappos two thumbs up.

It's no longer made in the UK, GET OVER IT!!! I had given up on boots due to a pair of Skechers that I bought about 3 years ago which did quite a number on my knees. However, these boots have not hurt my knees, but boy do they take time to break in. Get ready for some pain if you're like me you like to break them in the hard way, which means wearing them every day. After 3 weeks they feel just fine, but initially it can be painful. As for the service Zappos provided, I can only tell you that it is unparalleled. The service is excellent and the boots are just fine even if they are now along with 95-99% of the objects we buy made in Asia.

These look Sharp! First, the customer service at Zappo's is remarkable. Second, I LOVE the look of these boots. I have them in smooth black and they look really nice. I wear a women's size 8 1/2 to a 9. They are roomy, but fit. That's exactly how I like them. I have wide feet and refuse to wear anything that squishes my toes (nerve problems in one foot), and they feel fantastic. Right out of the box they felt a bit stiff, but not uncomfortably so. And I'm big on comfort. And I have to say that NEVER have I had customer service like at Zappos! I ordered these on July 4th, a holiday, mind you, late at night, online. Wednesday, the 6th, there on my doorstep in the morning. FREAKISHLY FAST! In addition, the day after ordering them, I called to tell them I had found the same boots on line cheaper and they did not hesitate to credit me the 110%. Very pleasant customer service person I spoke with. Unbeatable combination of great prices, great shoes and unbelievable customer service. Can't wait to order them in red!

Be prepared for the first few days of wearing these. These things hurt. Once broken in, though, they are awesome. Great comfort and durability. Honestly the best damn thing I've spent money on in a long time.

You won't find a more durable shoe - I work in New York City, and used to go through a few pairs of expensive shoes each year. I would keep on resoling them, and eventually have to replace. All that changed when I switched back to my college favorites: doc martens. Comfy, and they last. My last pair of these were worn every work day for 2 years. I walk a lot, in all weather, and they held up great. Just bought a new pair.

Gotta Love 'em - I got my first pair of 1460s in 1995. Finally had to replace them here in 2005. Worked out to be about $9 a year. Not too bad. I loved the worn-in, beat-up look of my old ones, but a brand new pair looks pretty slick too. They are not for someone who needs cushy cushy shoes. The insoles are very firm and flat, but I find them comfortable. As for break-in I got my new pair and laced them tight. Wore them hard and after 3 days, they are totally broken-in. Once broken in, I loosen the laces to the point of slip-on. If DM ever plans on retiring this line, I will buy several pair at once. Rock-on.

No Better Server - Ok, I have never worn Doc's before, so I order what I thought would be the correct size. Unfortunately, they were a size too small when I received them, but due to Zappo's excellent return policy, I was able to return them and reorder the right size. Both times they arrived very, very quick and I am 110% satisfied with my experience shopping here. And the Doc's are awesome once I got them broken in.

Awesome boots, awesome deal! I am a public school teacher and learned very quickly that sneakers nor loafers were for me. Being on my feet all day, I quickly realized that hiking boots were for me. When a pair of my favorites crapped out on me I bought my first set of Doc Marten's. This black pair is my third pair of Doc Marten's. They last forever, are impossibly comfortable, stylish, and easy to break in. Take it from a person who is on his feet all day - Doc Marten's are worth the money and so are these!!!

Still The Best!!! This is the 5th pair of Doc's I've owned over the past 10 years or so & they're still great. However, this is the first pair that I've bought now that they are made in China. I was a little skeptical at first because of some of the reviews on this site. But I've had them for a month now & I think they're just as good as the English made boot. I'm not sure why some of these reviewers are talking about having to break the Chinese boot in because I always thought there was a substantial amount of having to break in the English boot as well. It seems no different to me & I am very happy:)

IMHO - Quality and design is quite similar to the Uk ones- time will show how durable this ones are. Fast shipment and overall excellent customer service ; two thumbs up !

Comment - These boots are wonderful, when I first got them I was reluctant because I wanted a almost knee high boot. They looked short but soon they blended in more and just got more fashionable with time. They are very comforatable I havn't ever had sore feet wearing these. Never had my feet soaked in the rain either except for once when it flooded. They are so comforatable I even forget that there on. Had these boots for months not a single problem. Doc martens is THE brand other boots fall apart in no time, these are quality boots.

Finally! After years of scouting various malls for the 'classic' style DM boot (absolutely loathe the clunky-soled ones in stores now that are apparently 'fashionable'), I finally decided to do an online search & found Zappos.com. Within minutes I found exactly what I had been looking for these past years! I ordered the boots on a Friday afternoon and they arrived on Tuesday - excellent service. The boots fit perfectly and the first time I wore them happened to be an all-day event (trudging around the malls for shoes for my husband), and my boots were extremely comfortable. I have already recommended this site to a relative who is also looking for another pair of DMs, and I'm hoping to get my husband to order his shoes online to save time & frustration of going to the malls!

Its all I wear - I own a small janitorial service and I'm on my feet all the time. I've always worn boots, other brands wear out quickly and are not as comfortable. After a crushed foot in a motorcycle accident I need a cofortable boot. Dr. Martens 1460 boot has been my choice of boot for the last 12 years. Zappos is my recently found way of getting my boots at the best price and they are delivered rite to my door in a few days.

The True Class Doc - These are the true classic Dr. Marten's 8 hole boots that are very difficult to find in stores. Additionally, price-wise Zappos was much lower in price than any place else I have seen. The price was even competitive to purchasing in Vancouver BC even with the exchange rate.

Very Satisfied! I placed the order, within two days the boots were here. They were a gift for my brother, he loved them. I'm very happy with Zappos.com. I will order from here again.

Zappos was wonderful to purchase from. As a long time Dr. Martens wearer, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to find the original styles anywhere (at least at a decent price). I was delighted to find the original 8-eye boot (original gibson style sole, not the clunky thick boot type on current products) available through Zappos at a great price. I ordered a pair and they arrived w/in a few days and were in perfect condition (unlike some "discount" retailers I've purchased from previously). I will purchasing some additional Dr. Martens from Zappos soon.

WOW! I was VERY impressed with Zappos.com. I got my order within 2 days, I recieved the exact shoe in the exact size I ordered, the shoe fit me perfectly (which is a first for my ordering shoes over the internet), and the shoe actually looked like the picture shown on the internet.

I've been wearing Doc's for a good 14 years now. They never go out of style, always look good, and they last forever. This was my first purchase off of and it went perfectly. I would highly recomend this purchase especially from this website.

Best Darn Boot Ever - This is the second pair of these that I have owned, the last pair I had for almost 9 years, and I wore them all the time. These boots can be a bit difficult to break in, but once you do the fit it perfect.

Rocking Doc Martens - They're comfortable, they're good looking, they'll last forever, what more could you want?
