I purchased them for my mother, who had foot drop after a serious illness and has great difficulty walking. Her physical therapist loved them and my mother seems very happy with them.

I have been wearing the Propet Stability Walker for several years. I have owned 5 pairs. I currently walk 5 miles a day. This shoe offers extensive support and is a pleasure to walk in. If you have a lot of foot trouble as I do, this is the one to choose. I highly recommend it.

Zappos representatives were very helpful. I need a good stable walking shoe. Because of a disability since birth shoes have always been a problem. Now an added problem requiring a brace. So far the Propet Stability Walker is the best. The help I received in choosing Propet and the help I received for my return was really nice.

The Propet stability walker has proven to be a terrific fit with very good support. I use a cane and they give me comfort as well as giving aid to my balance. A very good thing.

Love my Stability Walkers. They seem true to size, are comfortable and true to name. These accommodate my orthotics nicely.

I've worn New Balance shoes for years and liked these so much I bought another pair in black. I have a large orthotic insert and just could not get a right fit until I tried these. The price is reasonable and, oh, by the way, Zappos you rock.

The fit is perfect, and they look good. I would recommend these as basic walking shoes. Only negative is that sometimes the shoes eat my socks, but some adjusting takes care of that problem.

I Love these shoes. They are so solid. They are smooth and comfortable inside. They dont have that hard feeling of some shoes. They definitely do what they say. I feel very stable and safe in these shoes. I hope I can just keep buying this same shoe again when these eventually wear out. They are already my favorite.

very comfortable, nice wide shoe for my 4E feet. they ask about stylish when you review, but no one makes stylish shoes for 4E...wish they did. these at least look neutral and blend well. Two days a week on my feet for 9 hours teaching on basically a concrete floor, and my feet, legs and back have stopped aching now that I have better support. If you have WIDE feet I highly recommend all the Propet shoes - they really mean it when they say 4E!

This is the 2nd pair of stability walkers I have bought. This walker is so comfortable that I will not even consider another shoe. The shoe is durable and long lasting. The old pair I have is still in good condition and the only reason I bought a new pair is because the old pair was king of dirty and looking old. But as far as comfort the old shoe is still comfy. I will use the old pair to work around the yard and such. I highly recommend this well built and comfortable walker. Oh and thanks Zappo for upgrading my shipping at no extra cost. Overall a very satisfying shopping experience. I will never buy my shoes anywhere else but at Zappos.

The Propet Stability Walker remains sleek and attractive, while flaring enough at the sole to provide balance for those of us who need it from our shoes. The sole provides functional traction. The extra width and the total design offers comfort without cramping toes or nails. Consider these walking shoes, especially if you have neurological conditions where enhanced gait and balance are your concern. Note: Size 10 1/2 is available to those who can’t fit into 10s or 11s! (Only a velcro closure would have improved on them.)

Great shoes - These are great shoes. I stand on my feet 8.5 hours a day and these shoes help with any foot pain. My legs don't seem as tired as they are with other shoes. I highly recommend these shoes!!!

Thank goodness for this shoe! I recently broke my leg (in two places) and dislocated my ankle, including rupturing the tendons. This is the only enclosed shoe that is wide enough and stable enough for me to wear as I recover from my injuries and the resulting surgeries. While the shoe for my other (good) foot is too big that is not the shoe's fault and I can tighten it up enough to be comfortable. I highly recommend this shoe for people with wide feet and/or who need a comfortable walking shoe. Worth every penny I paid.

Favorites - I am on a concrete floor for almost 8 hours a day. These are my favorite shoes to wear as they keep me going through the day. I hardly notice I have shoes on. I have 1 pair that is over 2 years old and another that is 1 year old. They hold me up well and the shoe itself wears great!!

Just ordered 2nd pair - This shoe was the 4th walking shoe I ordered last month from Zappos. Three I returned. The 4th, the Propets Stability Walker, I am keeping. I have just placed an order for a 2nd pair so I don't have to go through more trial and errors the next time I need a pair of shoes. Thanks to Zappos I was able to try all of these shoes long enough to know which one is for me.

Super Fit and Comfort on the first day! I wore these shoes for 10 hours on the first day! They were extremely comfortable and provided great support while looking good too! I plan on ordering another pair.

Read all the reviews! This is a terrific shoe, and I'm glad to have read all of the reviews, as they compile a perfect description. The width in this model is in the base, not the around the foot. It provides for great balance, even walking an active dog in the Florida sand. With a closet full of medium widths, I still order a wide, for active wear to accommodate a bunion. Good idea, here. I'm so comfortable, and my dog isn't making me trip in any more sand pits! And of course, Zappos had them here faster than Superman, himself could have done! Thanks, Zappos.

Order review - I have had this shoe before. It is the first shoe I have been satisfied with and I have had many from other places. It has been the first one that has worked with my orthotics. I have been pleased to have your shoe.

Great Stability - I am an elementary school teacher and spend most of the day on my feet walking around tight places occupied by children. The stability walker has totally enhanced my ability to stay on my feet and move quickly without stumbling. I feel very confident in this shoe!

Good option for kids with wide feet - My son has very wide, flat feet (think Fred Flintstone). Previously, I had been able to find options for him at Zappos. This time my search for extra wide boy’s shoes resulted in only two options: tan or white bucks! Not exactly high on a fourth grader's list of wants. In an attempt to fit him, I searched the women’s section and found this shoe in a black 4E. His response upon trying them on was one word: Heaven. After several weeks of heavy use, they are holding up, looking good, and still getting the thumbs up for comfort. Thank goodness for unisex looking shoes and thanks to Zappos for their continued outstanding service.
