Stability walker. I have problems with finding shoes wide enough, but these did the trick. They do run large, though. I think I could have gotten a 1/2 size smaller than my usual size. Overall, they're comfortable and look like regular tennis shoes, not orthopedic!

The toe area was too pointed for me personally due to foot issues. It just did not work for my needs.

1/2 size too small, no arch support and do not buy these shoes if you have any kind of foot or ankle problems and plan on standing on your feet for a 10 hour shift.

UNCOMFORTABLE - I had read the positive reviews on this shoe before purchases them, but then I didn't notice the negative feedback until after I bought them. I might not have bought them if I read the negative comments. These shoes smother my feet after a few hours of wearing them. I can't wait to take them off. The leather is extremely hard and it doesn't loosen up after a few times of wearing them like most shoes do. They're VERY heavy in weight also...feels almost like Boot Camp shoes soldiers wear. These shoes are just too pricey for what you get. I had to finally chunk them and get me some other name brand shoes instead. I just couldn't wear these shoes another day.

The toe box is too tapered, even with a DD width.

Shoe is so comfortable and has great support. Unfortunately, after wearing for 3 months it is falling apart. I am so disappointed.

Looks good/feels AWFUL! I normally wear Reeboks but have grown frustrated with the air bladder leaking and making noise. So I bought a pair of these. I have very low arches and need good arch support -and Stability Walker promotes their arch support. I wore them in the house for about five hours and never put them back on because after I took them off, my feet hurt so badly I couldn't get to sleep the first night, and the pain continued for a week. I sent them back. The problem: the arch support is so far forward that it hit just above my arch rather than at the arch and caused severe irritation that was not noticable until the shoes had been off for a few hours. I was SO thankful that I did not wear these to work for the day; I would have been in absolute agony. If you buy them, be sure to wear them at home first for a short time -just in case. I bought another pair of Reeboks.

These will never be sexy shoes, but they do what I need. They give great support and I can do activities that I want to do without pain and injury.

I ordered the Propet Stability Walker in 3 different sizes because I felt sure that at least one would work for me. I love the leather upper, the solid, flat, and very stable outer sole, and the quality and integrity of the Propet shoes. I recommend them unless you need a shoe with a distinctly rounded or square toe, because these shoes have a definitely angled toe box. The size 9.5 is the best size for my feet, as I expected, and the 4E width is what is needed to accommodate my prescription orthotics (a UCBL or a Ritchie Brace). They fit ok, but the toebox is not rounded; it slants inward from the pinkie towards the big toe, and eventually they rub my pinkie toe. Also, they are squeaky with the orthotics in them. The next size up 10.0 (4E) seems to be too big, but I may have to keep them unless I can find something else with a more rounded toe.

This is the third pair of this particular shoe I've bought since 2018 (this third pair will replace the first pair I bought). That alone speaks for itself as to what a great shoe it is. My only quibble is that Propet no longer offers the shoe in black suede, which I really like. Other than that, five stars in all respects.

I have had a pair of these walker stability shoes for just about a year before I needed to replace - so I feel like I can really give a thorough review. I have a VERY deformed foot. My foot leans on one side and therefore finding good, stable shoes are very important. I am also diabetic so I need a wide foot path as well. I bought my first pair in black and literally wore them every day for a year. I find these very comfortable and not ever had a moment where a blister formed. After having my first pair for a year, I feel like that side is beginning to stretch and causing my foot to become weak. The shoes are actually still in very good shape, it's just because of my foot deformity that I need to replace. Again, I don't really wear for beauty, but the function of them has been well for my deformed foot. I also like that I can buy these in 4E-Extra wide. Again, as a diabetic, this helps to never pinch and allows plenty of "roominess". Before my foot problems, I generally would wear a wide shoe anyway, but this extra wide gives me plenty of room for that deformity and I am able to keep the shoes on because they are a tied shoe. (Clogs will usually be too wide to keep on if they are extra wide.) These shoes are not the light, breathable fabric that seems to be the new norm for many athletic shoes. This is truly a sturdy shoe that does well if you have stability issues. Hope this is helpful!!!

I love these shoes! They are perfect! Great support and comfort. I am recovering from hip replacement surgery and need stability starting from the ground up, so to speak. I am a 7.5 Narrow and was initially was concerned that it was a little short of big toe comfort, but it has stretch out a little and is how absolutely comfortable. I would gladly buy these, again!

Hands down , the most comfortable and supportive shoe I’ve ever worn! Don’t question your decision. Just buy these - you will have no regrets. Amazingly supportive in all the right places and light weight for a shoe of so much substance. I usually find most heels too wide and toe boxed too shallow - but these are perfect. I use these for hiking and walking exclusive to all other shoes I own - and I own a lot.

Nice appearance, lightweight, stable without seeming clunky. My size 11 foot felt too long for the size 11. I'm concerned size 12 will be too long and put me at risk for tripping. The wide width was too narrow for my foot, which often takes a medium width. This show has a narrowing of the toe box that is unfortunate for arthritic feet.

I really wanted to like these but they were way too small. I ordered the 8.5 narrow and it felt more like a 7 my foot barely fit. The insole is removable so it would be a good shoe for a custom orthotic if you have the right size. They did look well made and out of nice materials. I might try them again in a different size. Return was painless as always!

For some reason Propet shoes fit my feet very well. I have an AFO on right and orthotics in both shoes. I do need an extra wide fit to accommodate the brace. I have at least 6 prs of Propets at this time .

Had these in white so I knew the black would fit well. These are very comfortable for me, since I have hammer toe (need deep toe bed) and also need more stability for walking on uneven surfaces (I live in the country). Style is not as important to me as comfort (I'm in my early 70's), but these are pretty stylish for walking shoes. The only "improvement" I would like to see is a bit more arch support, but overall I am very happy with these shoes.

I like the fact that the shoes are so lightweight, and very comfortable. I thought it was time to buy a new pair of athletic shoes. My other pair are about 5 years old. I've been wearing the shoes everyday so I can get comfortable with them., and if only took a couple of days.

I can usually fit in WW for most styles of Propet but these were weirdly narrow for a 4E! I know I have a hard to fit foot -- cavus foot, super wide and small -- but this was kind of depressing.

This sneaker was perfect right out of the box. I have a wide foot with a high arch, so finding a shoe that fits is difficult. This shoe offers support and comfort whenever I am on my feet whether for my regular walk, working in the yard, or a day of housecleaning. The only fashion statement it makes, however, is comfort and practicality.

The Propet Stability Walker is the only shoe I can wear because it has a "roll bar" that keeps me from walking on the sides of my feet. Zappos is the only place that I want to buy them because they ship very quickly and have excellent customer service. Their prices are the best as well. I cannot say enough good things about Zappos.
I'd also recommend:
Maybe New Balance, but Propet is the best for any support needs.

I got these shoes for my 90 year old mother, basically after hearing about them, then following up by reading many of the reviews here on Zappos. I also ordered the Propet Tour Walker so she would have a choice. She tried both, inside the house, for several days. She had been wearing zippered Keds, very comfortable, but since she'd had some falls and near falls, I thought the Propets might help. She decided to keep the Propet Stability walkers. (The Tour Walkers, though they looked almost identical, pinched her toes from the first.) She had formerly been, like me, a dedicated SAS shoe wearer, but we now have trouble getting those -- Zappos, please get SAS! She did have some reservations. She likes to look nice when she goes out somewhere, and felt the Propets (especially in the off white color which was all we could find) "looked like boats". They are of course, much wider and give an impression of being just all around bigger on the foot. I kept emphasizing that was for the added stability of the shoe and she understood that. I also wish they were available with velcro and/or laces and/or zippers. For older people (and I think these shoes, while not entirely aimed at that population, are useful for many of them), would prefer these choices. So far so good...I just wish they were a bit more "attractive" though in this case that is not my main concern; also other colors would be nice, especially darker colors since the shoes do make a person's feet appear larger. (I gave them 4 stars for comfort because she is still "breaking them in" and a really good pair of shoes, in my opinion, should require little or no breaking in; and 3 stars for "style" due to what I have already stated.)
