Heavenly! I've had 30 surgeries on my feet, ankles and toes and these shoes make walking much less painful for me. Great padding, good arch support and available in great sizes. I was able to order the very wide width I need due to swelling after surgery. This let's me wear a shoe rather than a surgical boot. When the swelling goes down, I will just switch to a thicker sock. Problem solved.

Propets rock! I have arthritic feet that have suffered many broken bones over the years and Propets are THE most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.

Love these shoes! They are stylish but very comfortable. I usually wear special insoles, but with these shoes I don't even need to! These shoes are the MOST COMFORTABLE I have worn in a long time. I had been wearing a particular brand that always cost a lot and they were beginning to really hurt my feet and were no longer true to size. This Propet is true to everything and my goodness they are so comfortable. I will be ordering another pair.

This is the first time I have purchased this brand and I was plesantlly surprised. The quality, size, and fit were great. I wear arch supports and these shoes worked well.

I bought these shoes to provide support and stability as I transitioned to weight-bearing status after three months on crutches for a broken ankle. They are comfortable, supportive despite not being terribly heavy, and give me additional confidence as I regain strength and mobility.

I just bought my second (and third) pair of these shoes! The first pair lasted the better part of 2 years. When it came time to buy another pair, I noticed that they come in white leater, also, so ordered those also for the summer. I wear the black ones to work, in a casual office.

Very comfortable shoe. I can do lots of walking without sore, tired feet. If you need a little extra width like I do these shoes are a perfect choice.

Not everyone has tiny, delicate feet. Recognizing that is a great first step to finding comfortable shoes. To hell with style. Comfort and support are what's really important. (By the way, this isn't a bad looking shoe.) I bought the pair for my wife, and she is liking them more each day. This isn't our first experience with Zappos and it sure won't be the last. I get really tired of hearing about the wonders of private enterprise and how capitalism is god's first choice of religions. But - these guys are the best. If all businesses were run like this, we'd think we'd died and gone to heaven.

I am ordering my second pair of these. I have awful wide feet- and these are a nice fit for me. I DO put in more arch support and much softer gel sort of insole. But these shoes are made easy for you to put in your own custom orthic or insoles! I wore my first pair right out. These give me good support, cause I can lace them up tight, and put in my custom arch support the way I love it. I walk four miles a day and they lasted a long long time, really..

Got these shoes for my 83 year old mother who is a diabetic and also has balance issues. She loves them. She says they are very stable and supportive. Thanks Zappos for having great shoes and for your great service!

I have very wide feet, and these shoes are perfect. I'm on my third pair. I can wear them right out of the box -- no break-in time necessary. They are sturdy and comfortable, and great for exercising. I would definitely buy these again.

These shoes are definitely not lovely, but if comfort is a priority, they're great shoes. I ordered the wide, and they feel true to size in both length and width. There is plenty of room inside for custom orthotics, also. The shoes measure up to Propet's usual quality.

I am about to order this shoe as a replacement for the same shoe that my mom bought me for my birthday 3-4 years ago. I have a D/E width foot & wear these as my "winter shoes" so I need to be able to wear a heavy sock. Logic would dictate that 2E would be fine; however, the 4E was what it took. I have owned numerous pairs of Propet shoes...athletic & clogs...I really wish they would bring back Meadow Walker Clog. I have found that typically, I need a 4E in Propet to have sock room. Propet makes good shoes are a decent price compared to other brands that carry E width & above. I should note, when I first got them, they felt clunky...and I didn't like them & hesitated to wear them. Finally, I did & I was surprised to see they are Better than most shoes that I have worn & work better for my balance issues.

Best gym shoe I've ever owned. I own two pairs in white as well and one for working out and one for everyday. Great arch support. These aren't the prettiest things in black but they are gym shoes so who cares? They are comfortable - I have wide flat feet with no arch left and wear a 9.5 W and these fit perfectly and are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned.

My work requires a lot of standing and walking. I have worn the Propet stability walker (for over 10 years) because the design of the sole helps minimize inversion and Eversion. I also like the leather upper, arch support and the classic style. They are hard to find locally so I was glad to find them through Zappos.com. Zappos has super customer service and a great return policy if you need it.

My foot is size 6 1/2 wide. The shoe fits perfectly, my orthodic inserts also fit nicely. The D links for the laces make it much easier to tie the shoes. Overall, a good buy.
