4E but has a slightly tapered toe so they don't look like little flippers. Foot bed comes out and *easily* accomodated my high arched orthotic. Yes, it is a Medicare certified diabetic medical shoe but the monochrome grey suede means they don't stand out paired with jeans and a nice sweater (which is Seattle "dressy" anyway!)

These were for my 94 year old mom. She said they are just perfect, fit well and comfortable. Thank you

This is the second pair of these I've bought, both in the pewter suede. I have very hard to fit feet, long and narrow, so when I find a pair of shoes as comfortable as these, I am delighted when I can just replace them. I've worn my first pair everyday for several months and they have worn well. The material is soft and still looks almost new.

I have really wide feet and I am diabetic. These tennis shoes are great for me. They were comfortable right away. I have gotten them before and will get them again. I get the white pair. It would be awesome if you got some incredible colors going for us that don’t have much choice in wide shoes.

I am Very pleased with the comfort and style of my shoes. Good tread on the soles. Light weight but sturdy.

This shoe is working amazingly well with my custom orthotics that take up a lot of space in my shoe. I have never worn this brand before but I ordered 2 different styles and ended up keeping both AND the price was much lower than I expected for the fit I got. Love Zappos and now Proper brand

The shoes are great.

This shoe is designed to keep your feet securely on the ground. This is very important for my age group (70 +) that suffer of imbalance. It is comfortable, looks young, well made. I recommend.

This is a very comfortable shoe. I have problems with knee pain and I find it to be very helpful as a walking shoe. It looks very well-made and is good looking.

I am in my 70’s and have fallen arches. Therefore I needed a sturdy shoe that is orthotic friendly. This shoe was perfect and the stability feature is a real plus.

I have a short wide foot and shoes that fit are hard to find. I wear a 6 4E. These shoes fit great and are very comfortable. They took a very short time to break in. I am most pleased with this purchase.

These shoes fit snugly... which is what you want in a walking shoe, but I’m typically a medium width and they are a smidge tight right at my little toe. I think they will break in okay - I wouldn’t want them any looser overall... but if your feet are at all wide, maybe size up on the width. Otherwise love the look and feel of these.

Too short and not wide enough. I wear 8.5 wide, but the 9 wide fit.

Very comfortable shoes. Was wearing a different sturdy shoe but for some reason the last purchase didn't soften up after time and the pain was getting to be too much. These shoes are extremely sturdy and SOFT. I'm on my feet 6-8 hours a day at work and then at home for more time. My feet are so much happier now. The support, the stability of being able to move in all different directions without feeling like my body is going in a different direction is great. I brought the painful shoes with me to work (reluctantly) if these shoes needed to be broken in and I had to switch back but I was better all day than had I worn the other shoes. The shoe laces are on the longer side too so I don't have to struggle for lace space when I tie them :) If there are any cons to this shoe I would say that it doesn't breathe as much as I'd like. My feet get warm if I wear my regular socks but that is easily remedied with thinner socks.

I purchased the shoe after having ankle surgery hoping the ankle section would be wide enough to accommodate my air cast. It juuust fits after breaking them in for a few hours. I have Flintstone feet and the 4X is a close fit. I’m positive I could not fit the 2E. I STILL need to find cute wide shoes that fit my feet!

These fit perfectly and with no break-in period I was good to go. Being diabetic, I needed a well fitting shoe to also accommodate my wide foot and to ensure no rubbing or blisters and these were outstanding.

Normally I take a 10 B, this was smaller than normal. I needed a 11 W, and fit great.

The shoes are just incredible!! The shoes are a white leather and are very comfortable and the quality appears to be extremely good. It is just beyond words just how great it is that Zappos carries such a variety of sizes and widths! I was finally able to find a great shoe in the size and width that I desperately needed!! Thank you Zappos!! Zappos greatly prides itself on the best customer service as we found out this time when we had a minor problem. They could not have possibly handled this order and better and our entire family looks forward to ordering our shoes from Zappos in the future!!

the pair of 11 AA I received seemed to run at least a half size shorter than other Propet shoes I purchased in the past.
