I needed to buy a shoe because of my diabetes and a healed infection in my foot. So I bought the wide pair of the stability walker and they have become my favorite shoe. It does a good job to stabilize my foot yet keep it from pinching or squeezing any part to create new blisters. It was a good purchase for me and looks great as a sport casual shoe.

This is my second walker. The first I liked except the top started to peel. The new one has a rubber tab on the front that fixes that problem. Unfortunately they made the walker wider (the outside is wider by almost half an inch then the same size as the old walker) and I cannot drive my 427 Cobra without hitting the gas and break petal at the same time! This would be five stars except for that.

These walking shoes are mondo comfortable and look good, too. I'm diabetic. For the past twenty years I've worn sandals. My latest pair were Propets, and they've held up longer than any sandals I've ever had before. The price wasn't bad, too. Ordinary walking shoes leave my toenails black, even after only a couple of miles on a level track. I've tried several brands, but none have felt quite right on my wide, flat feet. I was skeptical when I bought these Propets, but the reviews were almost all good and I liked the features-- especially the pronation control. This morning I gave the Propet walkers their initial run. I put them on over diabetic socks and went for a hike in Harriman Park in New York. Even when stepping on and off huge rocks, the shoes felt great. My toes never felt scrunched, even when descents were pushing my feet forward. These are shoes I can live with (and walk in)! If I could make a change, I would ask for one more eyelet. Initially my ankles wanted to slide out of the shoes; tightening them worked fine. This of course wouldn't have been a problem had I not been in such incredibly rugged terrain. The shoes felt true to both length and width. Try these-- and the Propet sandals, too.

Got this for my husband, and he needs a wide shoe...The 5E is not really as wide as it should be... they were pinching right away and he could not wear them....Back they go! (thanks Zappos, we'll keep on trying....)

Finally found a shoe that fits. I've got big feet and forever have to chase around to find to find a comfortable shoe. Very minor drawback with the look. It is all white, feel like a should be a nurse to wear them.

Overall I like the shoes. I have the same pair in Brown and for some reason this Black pair seems more comfortable. The size seems true to size. If there is one complaint I have, it's the laces. I've had three pairs of these and I always have to go out and buy a longer pair. I can barely tie them with the ones that they send in the shoe and new ones are needed.

I bought these shoes for my son, because he needs extremely wide shoes for his very large feet. We got 14 5E (that's EEEEE width) shoes. They were only the tiniest bit wider than the 13 4E shoes of a different kind we bought before. But because they were longer, his toes hit at a wider part, so these fit. When his feet get longer (he is only 14yo) the toes will push into the narrower part of the shoe, and they will no longer be wide enough. I am marking that these shoes felt a full size smaller than marked not for the 14 (they are long enough) but for the width. Someone with diabetes (my son is not diabetic) needs plenty of room for toes, to avoid sores they cannot feel. The toe-bed of these shoes seems too narrow for a 5E shoe. The insoles seemed like they might be nice, but I can't speak to it, since my son has special orthotics. But these shoes do have easy pull-out insoles, to make room for personal orthotics.

Ok shoe, nothing special, but just needed for a work shoe. I'd say they ran true to size. Plenty comfy!

I got these for my husband. We recognized the brand as a good name and thought we'd see if they worked. Loved the style and look. But they were not comfortable (husband has arthritis and fallen arches), so he added support insoles, and that solved the problem. He wears them everyday for work standing on concrete.

In the past I've always managed to make do by wearing a New Balance 10-4E shoe because the 9.5-5E are so hard to find in any style, but I saw these and decided to chance it. I'm glad I did. This is probably the first pair of walkers I've had that actually fit out of the box. Not 100% thrilled with the look, but at least they fit.

So far so good. I tried on these and no breaking in needed. Felt so comfortable right away. Quickly extended my 8 hour day.

This is a very comfortable shoe after a short break-in period. Apparently for stability, the sole extends out from the rest of the shoe. This makes the shoe look wider than it already is. It took a while to get used to the wide track.

I bought this shoe for volleyball officiating. I wear it all day long 6-12 matches and it is so much better than what I had before that it is like being in Heaven. I highly recommend them. I would have given it 5 stars if it had more arch support and cushion inside.

Look good. Feel good. These shoes are in black and fit exactly as sized. Soft and with good cushion in the sole and arch. A bit narrower than a "D" but that is just right for me. A bit more heel softness would be good but I really like these shoes and service and courtesy are so good they are hard to believe. Thanks Zappos.

Good shoe, a little small in width. I need shoes with removable insoles (for inserts) and I have a narrow foot. This shoe fits both requirements, although the shoe seems a little narrower than shoes I've had in the past.

Intriguing - I bought the shoes for my husband who walks daily. We liked the style of the shoes and they seemed to be made extremely well. The sole, arch, etc. looked stable and of excellent quality. However, he felt that the first couple of days the shoes were hard and had to be "broken in". Afterward, the shoes felt very comfortable!

Very comfortable for walking. The toe cap on my year-old pair started to come off and the cushioning was starting to fail - still I bought another pair.
