These penny loafers have a very long tongue on the front compared to typical penny loafers like Cole Hann. They are not the type for wearing with no socks in summer. The look doesn't work however maybe for formal wear would be better. Plus size wise they run very big.

Sebago quality has declined. Inconsistent size, faulty or crooked stitching and thin leather compared to same shoe purchased 6 years ago. Sadly, I will no longer purchase Sebago products.

I thought these were going to be a sturdy, versatile loafer. However, my wife and I found them to be ugly right out of the box. They looked like plastic to me and were not comfortable. I returned them and went with a Frye loafer.

Heads-up: great shoe but not high gloss shine compared to other dress shoe shine. Yes, there is a shine (the shine is subdued); think glossy photo vs. matte photo.

Quality was just what I had hoped for. Excellent. My normal size is 11 1/2 E, ordered that, what I got was marked 11 1/2 E, but fit what I think is about a 12 1/2 E.

This Sebago finally came back in stock and we immediately ordered it to replace the D size that was too narrow, even though the last pair that my husband had was in the D size. So overall I would say they run more narrow than they have in years past. Great shoe with leather soles!

Yes, the leather is a bit stiffer than 'slipper shoes' but they are comfortable, hold my feet properly, and shine up beautifully. The 12 W is slightly narrower than I expected but fit well with summer-weight socks.

This is the best of on-line shopping. I had to return the first pair I received because of a fit problem and the second pair was just right. There was no problem at all returning the first pair.

I work in sales and have worn loafers for 28 years. I used to be able to buy these locally u til about five years ago. I tried some other brands but was never as satisfied. When I found them on Zappos, I was cautiously optimistic but realized that they might not be the same quality that I was used to. I am happy to say that they are just like I remembered and expect these to last me a long time.

Needs some breaking in, but immediately as I slipped my foot in, I knew that this was the penny loafer I had been searching for (for years.) They will break-in, and I will wear them to the ground, and order some more pairs in brown or cognac or whatever.

I bought these shoes for my husband. He is very hard on shoes, and wears a 12 D, so it's difficult to get a good fit. He is really happy with these shoes - took a couple of days to break in, but he wears them daily and said they're comfortable. We were not familiar with the brand, but the quality seems very good for that price point. I would definitely buy this brand again.

Great classic shoes! My husband wears them quite often and would wear them every day, if he didn't have other loafers and shoes from Zappos! The best customer service ever!

This is a beautiful shoe. It is so comfotable and well constructed. I have narrow feet and I hesitate to purchase shoes on line but Zappos has never failed me!

Great shoes - been wearing Sebagos for 25 years. Not sure if they changed the design but had to go to E width versus D. Zappos return process was easy breezy

These hoes are very comfortable and very stylish. I wear them everyday for work. And Zappos, like always, I was very satisfied with your fast service. It is like buying at the store because I really did not have to wait that long for the shoes after I bought them, and it was even better because there are more types, and brands, all in one place. Great shoe, true size. Have been wearing this shoe for years...the shoe is tight when you first wear it...use shoe horn and give it a few weeks. I like it best with vibram rubber sole. Very comfortable and not as slick as the leather sole.

I have owned and have worn out a pair of this exact same shoe on the inside by re-soling them 3 or 4 times. I found this new pair in the same size a little long for me and the leather sole was not very flexible. I will re-order a pair with thinner leather soles.

Love the look and feel of these shoes. They are a bit snug, which is a good thing because they stay on the heel nicely. I kept them at work to break in over a couple weeks as they were definitely stiff to begin with. Once broken in these are my favorite work shoes!

My first Zappos experience was pretty impressive. I had gone to the Sebago site for this shoe, and it was backordered until September! But Zappos had it in stock, and at a lot less than Sebago, the manufacturer! The shoe is great (my 4th identical pair) but Zappos is even greater!

Beautiful, classic shoe. Very well made. From now on all I'll buy are Sebagos. I normally wear a size 12, but they were too big - 11.5 was right. Next time I'll get wide, as they are a little snug. But the perfect penny-loafer.
