I love the look of the shoe. It does well to match my wardrobe. It is a little wide for me and I typically order regular width sizes. I probably should have gone with a narror width. They are comfortable to walk around in.

I gave this shoe a fair rating based on where it sits in the overall picture. If I'd rated it according to what I paid for it, the rating would go up because they are a good value. They are light, great looking (more dress then hip clunky) and seem well made. Although I'd like more cushion in the heel. They are not a "wide" D and I border on an E width, so they are a touch tight. The leather has responded well to Lexol and in only two wearings they are starting to break-in nicely. On the first day I got several positive comments on them so they can't be all bad!

Bass Exeter Dirty Bucks - Shoe fit well the first wearing. Size was true, as was the width. Shoe has a hard footbed which makes it a good, comfortable shoe. 'Very pleased.

The Ugly School Shoe - Other than the Bass's Exeter-Men's Dirty Bucks looks (The Ugly School Shoe), the price is very reasonable and the delivery is wonderful. I just don't think it's anything to jump up and down about.

Average - Roghed up quickly...loooks worn already.

Good looking but uncomfortable - I really liked the looks of these shoes (the black-shiny). But, when I began wearing them, my heel got nasty blisters after the first day. I had to not wear them for a while until they healed and then tried again and the same thing happened. I decided to soften the backs of the shoes by breaking them in... this worked and I didn't have anymore problems with the heels.

Property manager - The shoe looks ok, the workmanship is good, yet it seems like a wimpy shoe compared to the Nunn Bush & the Timberland variety, which I already have.
