My recent shoe order - A plus for Zappo. It's the shoe I've been wearing for the past 10 years and can no longer find it at Dillards. Zappo had it, shipped it in two days, and I'm good for another two years. Hopefully, it'll be available again. I know, I should have ordered 2 pr.

Excellent Buy - Great shoe, excellent buy, I have been using this shoe for a decade since I was a kid, it fit perfect and looks great for a casual wear. I recomend this shoe to anyone that needs a confortable shoe and nice looking at the same time.

The Most Comfortable Shoe I Own - I've been buying these shoes for several years. Only recently, the Dillards Department stores in Nashville stopped stocking Bass shoes. I discovered Zappos and realized I still had a source for these great shoes. Dealing with Zappos has been a pleasure!

All round sporty shoe - I'm looking for the white buck version of this shoe. Do you still carry that style. My brother always enjoyed the comfort, the look, and the fit. Please let me know. Thanks

Bass Exeter - Men's - My husband seems to love them. They are the only shoe, other than sneakers and wing-tips that he owns. I normally buy them from the Bass OutLet, however, they did not have this particular shoe that he has worn for years and years. I do prefer the lower price at the Bass Outlet. However, I think the free shipping that we got from Zappos made up fot it. I will plan on buying this particular shoe from you! Thanks, Nancy Miles

Bass Exeter - This shoe is a classic. It was reasonably priced and was received in a timely manner. Using Zappos was faster and more convenient than going out shopping.

Outstanding shoe in a hard-to-fit size - My husband wears a size 8B. Finding shoes that fit comfortably has always been a challenge. Even in various catalogues, some of the most stylish shoes are not carried in his size. His dirty bucks were worn out, and we could not find a replacement in the catalogues we had. The previous manufacturer was not offering the same style in his size. Finding this quality Bass shoe on the internet at Zappos was so easy! The transaction was easy, shipping was free, delivery was quick, and the shoe is terrific. I won't bother to shop anywhere else for him now.

Good Shoes - I'm not particularly interested in composing a "review", but I will say what I like about these shoes. First, they're unadorned. I like the simplicity of an unstyled top. Second, they have a soft rubber sole that has a good grip, that walks quietly, and that does not scuff or mar flooring. Third, they last an awful long time. I wear these shoes 100% of the time, and they will last about a year before the sole wears through. For the way I walk, that's pretty good. I like to keep two pairs. One for everyday, walk-in-the-rain, walk-in-the-snow use. They get pretty beat up but still wear well and remain comfortable. The other I keep for occasional dress-up use. They go well with any suit I have.

Nice shoe, snug fit - I ended up returning one size because it was too large and ordering the next half size down. While wearable, it's a bit snug of a fit.

Great Classic Shoe - These shoes have a great classic look. At first, they aren't the most comfortable shoes, but they get better as you break them in. It's not that they're uncomfortable, they just seem a little rigid at first, and they are a little heavy by modern standards.

These shoes look and feel great. They are a rather rigid shoe as opposed to a thin, soft, casual upper.

Looks great, but no so great worn. The shoe is very comfortable; however, the past couple of times that I have worn them I have a blister on my tendon. Just be careful with what you buy and wear before you soil them because you can't return them.

Black Exeters - They are fine looking shoes, but not as comfortable as they look. Seem to be a little narrow at the toe area.

Happy with the look, just what I wanted. Shoes felt a little large in the heel area but not enough to return.

Corporate Look - The Exeter model has a more formed toe box than the regular buck and a smoother finish. This gives it a slightly more formal look. It works well at the office for this reason but doesn't have the more casual "college" look which many are after to wear with jeans and khakis.

Continued Classic - Great fit and classic looks in a versatile shoe. Wardrobe staple.

Classic, easy to wear w/ narrow sizes - I have a narrow heal and have difficulty finding shoes that fit. These Bass bucks fit great, though. The back of the shoe site high on my tendon and feels like it might need broken in for real comfort, but the look is a classic and will serve me well for both work and casual wear. Zappos' shipping was phenomenal! I got these in one business day; free! Couldn't be happier with customer service. Now I know why they're "the web's most popular shoe store."

Best of the Bucks - I've worn several pairs of dirty bucks and have to say that this brand feels the best. They do take a little while to break-in but then feel great. The sole is thicker on these than most other brands. I think they will wear longer.

Dusty Bucs are hard to find! It is getting hard to find this style in a quality shoe. The Bass Exeter continues the tradional, classic dusty buc style in a comfortable shoe. They are heavier than the original, US-made Bass shoe and more like the US-made Dexter shoe, but the grooved sole is a welcomed change. I just purchased a second pair from Zappos.com, and they are very comfortable but the back requires flexing when new to prevent soreness at the heel. The service from Zappos is great!

bob's review - It is a pretty shoe. The more you wear them the better they feel. It takes several times to wear them before they really break in. With the type of bottom, sole design, you don't slip when you walk on wet pavement.
