The Florsheim Riva, widely considered a very comfortable men's loafer shoe, has been my choice for both casual and formal wear for at least the last 3 purchases in these categories. These purchases span several decades. The Florsheim Riva is a stylish and very comfortable shoe!

I wear this shoe all day, every day whenever I am on duty. I am an Airline Pilot and wear my shoes sometimes up to 24 hours. This shoe is comfortable and versatile. When on the layover I wear them casually sometimes. This shoe is the best.

This shoe is the most comfortable shoe that I have ever owned. It is stylish and can be worn casually or while dressed up. I love this shoe.

I have wide feet and wider with orthodics. This is the only shoe I have been buying for years that accommodate my needs. Would be nice if you carried this size in brown too.

I have had them since I was 17, I am 76. I still have a pair that my Mothe gave me over 40 years ago and they still look just as good as the new pair that i just purchased. The only thing is that the sole is comming apart and I can not find any one that can resole them. I threw a pair away that no one could put new soles on saying that they were not made so there was nothing that could be done about it. I have kept the other pair because my mother gave them to me.

I remember this style from when I was a teenager in the 1960s. It was about time I had got a pair.

I teach school and I've been wearing Florsheim Riva's for the last 25 years. That's a lot of miles I put on those shoes pacing the chalkboard. I'll retire in a few years and I'll have worn Riva's from beginning to end of my career. I've worn other shoes but I've always had Riva's; they are my go-to dress shoe. Florsheim Riva's are classy, comfortable, great-looking, and their durability makes for a good value on a teacher's salary. Thanks.

I was extremely pleased to be able to purchase a 5E wide Riva shoe - I need a large wide toe box, and the 3E size was not sufficient. I note, however, that the 5E wide size does not seem to be available for Florsheim styles other than the Riva. I recommend that the company manufacture 5E width shoes in other styles - I believe it might be popular. Extra wide shoes are a necessity for me.

These Comfortech shoes fit my feet perfectly. And like previous purchases of the Comfortech line they are very comfortable to wear.

My first pair of Riva was the first year they came out. They are a good looking and very comfortable shoe. I have had black, brown and burgundy over the years. Also, this is one of a very few shoes offered by Florsheim where I can get a "B" width (have a narrow foot). I miss the old days. I started my work career with Florsheim in the 1960s before the one size fits all. The sizes ranged fro 6 to 14 or 15 and triple A to triple E.

Wearing them for 40 years and still love em.

These are the only dress shoes I have worn for 45 years. They are also the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. More comfortable than any athletic shoe. The sole grips pavement even when wet. I currently have 6 pairs2 of each color.I wish they made them in NAVY BLUE.make them in Navy and I'll buy 2 pair's. They weigh almost nothing. I seem to remember around 1981 they were going to discontinue them and I bought every one I could find in Charleston SC..even bought a brown pairhad to buy a herring bone tweed jacket and matching brown slacks just to have something to wear with themthey seem to last forever and the uppers and linings never wear outI will never wear any other dress shoe.period..

I wear these shoes 80% of the time. Good for walking, appropriate for business or business casual. I wish lighter colors were still available.

The Riva shoe has been my favorite for more than 40 years. I have been wearing them in black and brown that whole time. I taught school for more than 30 years and was on my feet a lot on hard concrete floors. The shoe was as comfortable as any I have ever worn. My only complaint was that when I retired about 25 years ago, I bought several new pairs, both black and brown, from a shoe store that was closing that we had bought shoes from for years. The new shoes sat in my closet in the original boxes for about 5 years. The Riva shoes I wore every day were older than that, yet when I pulled out the new ones in the closet to wear, the Comfortech soles had dry rotted and came apart in big chunks so I had to throw more than $400 worth of shoes away.. I was very disappointed and lost more than $4oo that I paid for the four pair. I don't know what made the difference, but I will never try to buy them to wear a few years later again. The Comfortech soles do not store well apparently. Sure wish Florsheim had mentioned that in their catalog, or had a Note in the shoebox to not store them for any length of time because the soles will dry rot.

I purchased this pair of Riva shoes to replace the pair I had worn out after several years. Comfort and the availability in wide widths is what brought me back to this shoe. I hope Florsheim continues to make shoes in wider widths.

This is my third set of shoes over the last 30 years. I've walked around more automotive factories than I can count and they stand up great

Very comfortable, well worth the money

The large variety of size options allows for a perfect fit every time. The shoes are extremely comfortable and of excellent quality.
