I have ZERO complaints.. I've been purchasing these shoes for many years and will continue to do so providing they don't change anything about the shoe. Very nice looking and superior comfort !! Keep up the FABULOUS work Florsheim

I have worn these ever since a foot doctor wanted to operate on my feet and put special inserts in. They solved everything and I have worn them for as long as I can remember. I buy several so I always have a pair on hand after they wear out from the heavy use I put them to.

Durability is the problem with these shoes! My husband has had these Florsheim shoes for a little over 8 years and has only worn them when dressing up - so infrequent use. When he put them on this weekend, the soles literally dissolved and came off the leather body of the shoe. When I looked at the reviews of this shoe, I saw that two other reviews mentioned the same problem. One of them mentioned 7 years before problem showed,also with infrequent use, so it would seem you should not buy these shoes and expect them to last forever even if you wear them only a dozen or so times per year. We have always bought Florsheim for my husband's dress up shoes, so we have ordered a similar Florsheim style without the composite sole to try and will review once they have been worn a few times.

I have a narrow foot. Many shoe stores do not readily have a C width. Ordering the Florsheim Riva on-line makes it easy to get a C width shoe.
