Stule, workmanship, feel are all great, but my high instep just prevents my wearing this beautifully designed shoe. I returned these and ordered another pair of the Riva in black.

I wear these shoes nearly everyday. I work in an office setting that 1) requires a long day, 2) tends toward conservative/business fashion, and 3) consists of early evening receptions, etc. These fit the bill. I like the styling. It is a narrow, sleek look that is stylish without being too trendy. While I have typically opted for oxfords, the loafer is a nice change to my wardrobe. I wear them both with slim-fit suits, executive suits and dress slacks and blazer. They bridge the gap in the various styles well. The initial break-in lasted longer than I was expecting and was fairly uncomfortable. The elastic band across the top of the foot was particularly tight on my left shoe and caused a blister for a couple of weeks. However, since they have been broken-in, I find them to be comfortable. Also, as a result of the slight tightness at first, they have not stretched out to the point that they slip off my feet when I walk as other loafers have on occasion. I have had these for more than a year, wear them nearly everyday, walk quite a bit during the day, and the heals are just now wearing out. The soles have also just recently needed repair. The upper leather holds up well and does not scuff too easily. I polish them less than once a month, and they still look good day in and day out. The bottom line: I have purchased Florsheims for years, and these shoes met my quality expectations and style expectations.

this is a great shoe..I just wish it came in Brown also because I have brown suits that I would like to wear with these shoes..

I buy these shoes to wear with a tuxedo and with a suit to church or funerals and, as they become worn, for casual to every-day, and replace with new. They do not last a life-time but I have six pair in increasing stages of wear.

Been buying thsi shoe for over 15 years, been experiencing problems with the last two pairs in that the shank breaks and shoes squeak when I walk. The shank broke on my last pair within three weeks. Despite this problem your company is good at replacing them when it breaks too soon. You still have a regular customer

satisfied with purchase experience. too soon to know how shoes will work out, but prior florsheim shoes have been excellent.

I've used this shoe for years. It used to last longer than it does now. It's comfortable and I wear it for work or when we dress nicely to go out.

I've found this style to be very comfortable right out of the box. Good looking shoes. Will keep wearing this style. Only disturbing problem is premature cracking of the sides of the shoes at the pivot of the toes, both sides. Would encourage Florsheim to improve the quality of the upper portion of the shoe. How about it Florsheim! All we are saying is give uppers a chance!

I'm a preacher and these shoes are perfect. I generally get over 5 years of use out of them.

Good nice looking shoes, elegant/formal. Comfortables. After a few year they stated to peeling off on the side of the shoes. Still good shoes. [$] every 3-4 years not bad.
