Nice looking. I am used to lighter shoes, therefore, this shoe feels heavy. Had it for just a week so far, worn it 4 times, the jury is still out on it's comfort.

Shoe is the right length although I am not sure if it is a tad narrow.
I had another pair of Florsheim’s which were wide width and I was swimming in them so I stepped down to regular width and they almost fit perfectly. Almost...

Comfortable after breaking in -
These shoes felt very tight and uncomfortable at first; it felt a half size too small. My feet ached after the first 3 or 4 days of wearing them. Florsheim's Comfortech sole design is kind of odd. The sole has a bridge that goes from the ball of the foot to the heel, which puts odd and unwanted pressure on the arch of your foot. But after breaking them in, they feel pretty comfortable. Most of the discomfort subsided after the thick insole wore in and conformed to my feet. The bridge in the sole still feels odd to me. I would recommend Rockports first.

I have bought from Florsheim before. I thought the reviews on the current shoe I purchased were great however from my experience wearing the shoe I can say is it light yes. Tight on the corners of my feet and mid foot. I ordered a D width and I hot an M after I decided to see why were my shoes so tight. I always order a D width. This is the first time I am dissapointed in the shoes.

I would not recommend this shoe.
The shoe looks pretty good. Still, I think it is better for a shoe to work good than to look good. This shoe does not work good.
From the beginning, my foot felt unsupported in this shoe. In it, my foot wants to roll and the sole squeaks on the polished concrete floor of my work.
After about a month, the shoe split down the side and the shoelaces began to fray and the shoe still squeaks like crazy.
I hate this shoe. I went out and ordered some custom built redwings. I can't wait to trash these once the redwings arrive.

I wear a 42 in ECCO (supposedly converts to an 8.5) but the 8.5 in this shoe was so small I couldn't physically fit my foot in it. I returned them not just because of the size--this shoe is goofy looking. It looks much clunkier in real life than in the photos. Like a cross between a real dress shoe and moon boots.

Not as nice as hoped.
I have several awesome pairs of Florsheim shoes and these were unfortunately, the most disappointing. Florsheim took a great looking shoe and finished it off with a very unattractive looking sole. They are also much narrower than expected. I returned them for a refund.
I'd also recommend:
Florsheim Imperials, Florsheim Dryden

Nice looking shoe, but width was too narrow.
I like the look of the shoe. But the width is too narrow. So I'll be returning them for a wider width.

The design of the sole of these shoes is a problem, and caused me to severely twist my ankle. The designer needs to think this out better to prevent future injuries. These shoes are comfortable, but the have a narrow strip of rubber on the underside of the sole, that is molded in as part of the sole. The narrow strip is in contact with the ground to help as an arch support, and presumably was used to substitute a steel or carbon shank support internally. Visually having the narrow center strip under the sole that doesn't show from the side makes the shoe look more traditional, with a standard sole and heel arrangement, rather than having a flat sole all the way from front to back. The problem is the narrow strip works as a pivot-point in the center of the shoe. Normally this is not a problem, but if walking on rough ground, or even hitting a small stone in the central area of the sole that the strip is located causes the shoe to tilt abruptly. Even preparing myself to cross a rough section of pavement with a few stones, I was not prepared to have the shoe tilt out from under me, and I ended up twisting the ankle badly. The shoe is comfortable, but the sole design is a accident waiting to happen, and it should be be recalled! One would think that Florsheim might have some experience in this area, and recognize that building a pivot point into a shoe (other than a high heel for fashion) might be a problem.
