Fits great right out of the box - After years of wearing extra-wide (EE) shoes on my EEE feet, I'm glad I finally found these Florsheims. These felt great the first day I wore them. I haven't been able to find true EEE shoes in regular stores, so I'm glad I found Zappos.

Love these shoes! Great look and as comfortable as tennis shoes. Liked the black so well I bought the brown color too. These shoes are great for air travel. They never set-off the airport security alarms.

Best shoes in 23 years - I am a 23 year Disc Jockey. My feet hurt so bad after a long night of being on my feet that I coulnd't even walk to the door. Then I found these miracles. They are so comfortable! My feet don't even hurt after 18 hours on my feet. And the style is perfect for a dressy appearance in a tux.

All you could want - I purchased the shoes as an alternate shoe for work and I was thrilled with the look as well as the fit and the comfort when I'm on my feet for a long period. Hoping to find other styles from Florsheim with the same comfort fit.

Florsheim Noval - Very pleaed with the style and fit of this shoe, no problems with it as far as comfort and it is a light weight. I have a wide foot and it is very true to size.

Comfort and Class Combined - It's not often that one could combine look and comfort in shoes, definitely not with my EEE wide feet. But I found all those qualities in Florsheim's Noval. I travel very often and they're great to travel with and go to meetings in.

I had the same shoe for many many years. The version I had was sort of a matte black glossy black finish. The soles were getting a bit flat, and were separating from the toes. The leather stayed in good shape. I had these about 20 years so they've been a very good shoe. Not sure if I could get the soles repaired, so I ordered a replacement from Zappos. I ordered a half-size up since my feet are expanding as I age. The half-size up was too large. I will probably re-order that to my original size. This was a very comfortable shoe that I used to work in. I highly recommend it. I did kind of like the older not so glossy version. But I may have used the shoe polish that dulled the leather down slightly.

Good looking Shoe - Florsheim has always been a quality name for men's shoes. I was unaware that they made any "comfort" soled shoes. As I age (mid 50's), I find that my present shoes are rubbing against my foot just behind my little toe, making the feet very sore. So, I purchased an athletic shoe locally that was 4E which provided some much needed relief. Now for some dress shoes. I was attracted to the Noval because of the comfort sole. It looks a little strange, but does provide comfort. I like the shoes, but they still touch the sore spot on my foot - I don't think they are quite as wide as other shoes. Good looking shoe. Would buy again if it came wider.

I wear an 8-1/2 3E and these shoes fit just great. They are good looking shoes that are comfortable to wear all day. The only problem is that the bottom soles are somewhat flat and will not be very good in the snow.

Good for dressy casual. The sole design looked too informal to wear for more formal business occasions.

Good shoe for the money - Takes a while to break in, but after that, it is a very comfortable shoe. Like other reviewers, I would like to point out that it grabs small rocks and you may need to remove those before walking over hardwood. I'm waiting for a Rockport Marble Arch on my size. Zappos service was without a flaw. Looking forward for my next pair.

Fit counts - These shoes fit comfortably for occasions when I need more formal footwear. Some of the Italian shoes may be "prettier", but they don't fit me properly.
