Returned shoes for exchange in kind. Crease marks from animal prominent and appear as weak lines in leather, especially at sewn seams.

This is the only kind of shoe I can wear given my aging feet. Have been wearing Imperials for at least 30 years - They are good for at least 5 years

I wish the Como style still came in Brown. I have a pair of Brown that I have re-soled severall time for my work suites. I have just recently resoled my Black pair. I will get one more pair of Black. The two new pair I will ware for Going Out and use the two that I have resoled for every day work.

I'm hard to fit and i need a shoe such as this in a bank environment. It's a simple and clean design that is suitable for most business and social occasions. It's roomy enough in the toe, an excellent fit. I don't have anything negative to say.

The quality of the leather isn't as good as the pair I purchased some years ago. The leather appears to be thinner and shows creases much more readily than my previous pair.

Florsheim's Como Imperial - Ordered 2 pair of Florsheim's for husband. Victor ran big and not as good of quality as Como, so returned it. Como more expensive but very happy with the shoes look and fit. Hope it last 4 years like his last pair. Very happy with Zappo's service. They get a 10!

John Kelly - Bought it for the look and one of the reviews recommended it for guys with high insteps. Comfortable enough for me to wear as slippers.

Very good quality - This is an excellent high mid-quality shoe, high quality being Ferragamo, Bally, etc. It fits looks better than average and the leather is very soft.

Label discomfort - This is a great shoe EXCEPT for one flaw. The identifying label is on the inner sole at the heel location. The company made two slits in the inner sole and each end of the label is inserted and sewn. This creates discomfort for my heel and there is no way to remove the label without making a bad situation worse. I have owned Imperials in the past (some years ago) and this is my first experience with such a mistake. I suggest that the company needs to correct this asap. I will not purchase another Imperial until I know that this mistake has been corrected. Thanks, grg

The "Made in USA" Imperial Como was better - I have been wearing Imperial Comos for many years and always liked them. Now that they are made in India, the quality is simply not there (but I noticed that the price is still the same!).

Bostonian has similar moc-type slip-ons.

I like the leather bottoms of the Como and the high vamp with the elastic band underneath. It is taunt enough to stay on my feet. The D rubs the side my toes a bit too much. I was waiting for them to loosen up but they never did.

Leather used seemed like plastic. Hardware also looked cheap.

I would think that for the price I paid the soles would be stitched, not glued. The inside lining leaves something to be desired. They are comfortable and look great. I am afraid the quality is not what I expected.

I wasn't pleased with this product because the "mahogany" finish looked more like it was painted on rather than dye in the leather. Otherwise the shoes were fine. I have worn Florsheim shoes a lot over the years, and generally like them. This is the first pair I wasn't happy with.

I use this shoe as an everyday dress shoe. Positives are that it slips on easily from the first day and doesn't cause chafing or discomfort. It doesn't seem to have a "breaking in" phase. On the down side, that flexibility means it doesn't conform snugly to my foot, almost as if it is a size to big, but it isn't. On the whole, I will probably buy it again.

This is the second purchase of this shoe. The other pair has been good. The reason for my purchase of this shoe is that, it is the closest to my shoe size. I wear a 13 1/2, triple A, which is very hard to find. I used to get my shoes from the Wright Shoe Company which went out of business. I was pleased to get a discount on my recent purchase. I will continue to make purchases from Florsheim, even though my size is limited.

I wear these to work every day. I've had 2 pair for many years. Wear extremely well. Ordered two pair, same size as what I have, but one pair arrived too big/long - not wide. One pair fits, one feels too long.

I returned this product because it is not a comfortech. The advertisement was misleading though it was on sale. Also, the shoes are too narrow with hard, slippery soles. I'm waiting for the RIVA comfortech shoes as an exchange.

Would prefer real leather as in traditionally made shoes. Disappointed that I could not find any other style in size 14AA. Lace up shoe.

I have a mixed review. These shoes fit great, are very soft and comfortable. For that I love them. Based on other reviews talking about a tight fit, I ordered E instead of D, and that made them fit great for me. Two items bother me. I have had problems with the heels scouffing. I guess I rub my shoes on chairs. But these were much worse than any other shoes I have had. I guess because they are so soft. The other problem is the sole came appart on 1 shoe after only 9 months of wearing once or twice a week. I got it glued for temporary fix, but will have to get a new half sole soon. I don't know if this is a common problem, or I got an exception. Even with the problems, I wish they came in brown so I could get another pair

This pair of shoes was a replacement pair for ones that I purchased in November of 2011. I returned the original pair due to the soles of both shoes separating after only 6 months. So far the replacement shoes have held up..hopefully that will continue to be the case. The fact that the original shoes were repalced at no charge was very positive and much appreciated.
