I have been a Como wearer for over 20 years and cannot find a better shoe. My one complaint is Florsheim discontinued selling the brown version and only offers burgundy. I recently had to discard my brown Comos (due to wear and tear) and cannot find a suitable replacement.

This is the first pair of Florsheim shoes that I have bought in probably 20 years. Great fit, great quality. The lining in the shoes is incredible almost like kid glove leather it is so smooth! My only complaint is the sole needs to be somewhat thicker to provide a little more cushioning.

I've worn these for years, and they do not disappoint. Good value. I miss having the Florsheim stores, though.

excellent for both casual and dress. Wonderful for narrow foot as regards sizing (9A for me). could use slightly more cushion but still quite comfortable, although have not walked long distances.

This shoe is very comfortable from the first day you put it on. However, it wears out rather quickly.

I use the shoes for dress and work. The Como from Florsheim is the only shoe I've found that comes in the AA width I need. Wish they had more styles in the very narrow widths.

Bought a pair of Como last year which fit perfectly. Bought the same pair, same size but in black last month. It did not fit. Frustrating, but easy to return.

For me these are just short of formal shoes. I use therm for busienss. I have both a brown and black pair. These are good shoes that provide value for thier cost. Three resoles before replacing has been my expereince over three pairs of these shoes. Hold a shine. Worth the cost.

I have purchased Como's and Como-Imperials for 20+ years. Comfort is my first priority. Como purchase 9-12 months ago felt narrow & tight. Earlier pair of the same shoe perfectly comfortable.
Recently purchased Imperial. Better...but not Great.
Is quality falling?

* These are the shoes I wear every day for work. I work in a business casual professional office work enviroment.
* When I final through out the shoes typically the soles have holes worn in them and/or the tops have significant scuffs (usually on the front tip or arround the heal).
* A nice inprovement would be a more comfortable heal (?built in gel pad?) and/or sole.

This a very good product. I would like you to have other shoe models that come in several widths.

The only thing I don't like about the shoe is that after six months, the sole of the shoe "may" have to be re-glued by a shoe cobbler. It's only a slight inconvenience, but Florsheim can easily correct the problem by changing it's glue. The sole came loose on two of the four Florsheim's I have bought within the last year. It only cost $6 for the repair, so I really don't mind getting the repair. A pair of Florsheim's will generally last me 1.5 years with the use of shoe trees and rain covers (the commuter).

I have small narrow feet (8B) and I've worn out several pairs of this shoe. Now Florsheim has decided to STOP MAKING IT IN MY SIZE! It's hard enough buying shoes fitting my feet. These do, but Florsheim doesn't seem to want my money anymore. (I hate rubber souls, BTW; these were leather and terrific.) A great big BOO! HISS! to Florsheim for forsaking its customers.

My husband has worn Florsheim shoes for 20+ years and my father wore them in the 70s and 80s. They are a good quality shoe, they last a long time even with daily wearing, they are perfect for the office if you wear a suit, and they are stylish and attractive. This specific shoe runs a little small and narrow - I'm going to have to return it. But I will order a larger size since my husband loves them so much.

Fits like a glove, easy to walk in from the first wearing. A great leather shoe --not molded rubber

If Florsheim would add a fully cushioned footbed to the Como similar to the Riva, the comfort of this shoe would be much improved. To make the Como more comfortable I have used AirPillo Insoles. I can't wear the Riva, because I have a narrow foot and the Riva doesn't come in an A width, but the Como does. Otherwise, The Como is a very good shoe.

I wear them every day.
Already for 10 years I buy a black and a brown pair once a year.
The fit nice, however especially the underside wears out to fast.

I continue to order the Imperials for style and fit, however, I always have to put new heels on immediately! The bottom section of the heal separates on itself and catches on my suit pants, causing a number of unanticipated and expensive tailorings. I have called and reported this problem every time I buy a new pair( fourth pair in 5 years) and customer service would just ship me a new pair. I don't believe Zappos has a voice in the matter with Florsheim. Otherwise perfect and comfortable shoes always cost me an additional $30 dollars....come on people!
