My husband has worn these shoes for decades. This is the only shoe which fits his feet. The shoe lasts longer than most shoes so the price is not that high when you compare with other shoes which are replaced twice as often. The last pair of these shoes have a hole in the sole and worn down heels -- but after 10 years of wear, I am not blaming the shoe. My husband is thinking about getting the soles and heels replaced but I know he will keep wearing these rather than have them in the shop for a few weeks. I bought him the new ones for an early holiday gift -- I know that he will flip out when he sees them.

I've worn nothing but Comos for 14 years. As clergy, they get heavy use. I buy at most one pair each year. Currently, I have pairs from 2007, 2008, 2010 and just purchased 2012 pair. Originally loved comfort in a dressy slip-on. Usable for very formal or very casual. Noticed some quality decline in mid-2000's, then quality seemed to go back up.

Good things cost money. I have an AA foot and it's just impossible to get a narrow shoe that's stylish. I've bought these shoes for over thirty years, simply because the "few" other manufacturers are $100 or more; and their shoes are unattractive. Yes, they wear out quickly, but I have four pair and rotate them every day. I buy a new pair once every two years. After one year, I have them resoled and re-heeled and their ready for another year. At the end of that year, I buy another four florsheims.

The shoes are extremely comfortable. I also liked the styling, with the added contouring on the back of the shoe.

I have been buying and wearing these shoes (Como) for many years. Keep working on improving (comfort, wear and cost) an already good shoe. Thanks, Dan

I bought this same shoe in Black a few years ago and have gone from wearing them as my best dress shoe to my everyday shoe and they still look great. Since my adult life, I have worn size 101/2C not 10 or 101/2M. A medium width shoe is not comfortable for me and that's what's mostly offered in today's shoe market. Now with this purchase, I have two pairs of shoes that fit me out of all the shoes I own. Please keep C width in your line of men's shoes!

Narrow sizes (AA) are hard to find and these are great looking shoes. I have been wearing this style of shoe for over 15 years. Wish there was an option in the lineup for something other than leather soles as they wear out quickly and absorb rain water. These shoes are comfortable enough to wear to work the first time you put them on.

Worn the same shoe for 30 years

This is a fantastic shoe, it's ideal for the office environment, whether in a full suit and tie, or business casual. Also works well for a casual evening with sport-jacket and slacks. I've bought this exact shoe several times after wearing-out the previous pair. A new pair can easily last 5 years, especially if you periodically replace worn soles. But eventually, even the upper starts to wear-out, and I just walk into my local Florsheim and say 'I need another pair of these.' All in all, I've probably been buying and wearing this shoe for well 25+ years.

I have owned numerous pairs of the Como, in three colors. This is by far the most comfortable dress shoe I have ever worn. I am an attorney, on my feet a lot, but this shoe feels as good at the end of the day as in the morning. It is dressy enough to wear with a business suit, but works equally well with a blazer and slacks.

This shoe is remarkable. It has a tendency to embrace the foot. I have never had shoes that I actually forget that I have them on. Absolutely fantastic! Recommend very, very highly!!

I took the shoes from the box before spending a 12 hour day in the office, sitting, standing and walking place to place. At the end of the day my feet felt as good as they did when I started my day.

I love this shoe and wear it quite a bit. I have it in both colors.

I brought my first pair 5 years ago. They are great and shoe cobbler really liked the quality when I had them resoled. Now I have the black and brown. The size is great as "A" is hard to find in causel shoes. Keep up the good work.
