ECCO SeaWalker - I purchased Ecco shoes from recommendations posted on Rick Steve’s web page "Graffiti wall" and I haven't been disappointed. I wore these shoes about 10 minutes and at that point I realized how comfortable they are.

Excellent shoe and very versatile - I needed a shoe that I could wear with Dockers or with jeans. Something nicer than the usual athletic shoes. I speak in front of large audiences and I wanted something I could wear there or anywhere. These fit the bill perfectly. They are very comfortable and they look great!

Sea Walker Tie-A Great Shoe - Light, well made, durable, and very comfortable, this is one of the best walking shoes I've ever owned. The shoe seems to hug the foot and provides excellent cushioning on all surfaces.

My husband loves the shoe. My husband loves them. Very quick service, we needed them in 6 days for vacation and they were here in plenty of time. He says they are so comfortable. The only thing I did not like is I went to shoebuy.com and they were $15 cheaper for the exact same shoe. Thanks for the great service.

Wonderful shoes - You can never go wrong w/ Eccos. Tried two other brands (Rockport & Timberland) over the past year and found Ecco here in Zappos (I wore Eccos for the previous 6-7 years). I was nervous as it was my first shoe purchase online and I usually require "wide" which was not an option in my size but couldn't be happier. It is like wearing slippers. Fantastic show & highly recommended. Work in NYC and they handle the walking w/ ease.

Great Shoes - My husband wasn't sure what to think about the shoes at first. He thought it was uncomfortable. Then he wore it a couple of times and it was very comfy! This shoe’s sure worth a try.

Best casual dress shoe ever - This shoe is comfortable from the moment you put it on... all through the day... on your feet... traveling... no matter how far you walk - and it looks great too!

Perfect Travelers Shoe - Found this shoe through a review on good shoes for travelers on about.com. Great comfortable walking shoes. Wore them through Disneyworld, airports, etc., no complaints. If you do find the arch support to be too much - the inner support can be removed. I was between sizes - went with the smaller and it was the right choice.

I love this shoe. Better than advertised and the price was right. Zappos has figured out how to do it. Size was accurate. Shoe has good support and excellent finish.

ECCO = comfort - Very comfortable shoes. These are incredibly comfortable at 1/3 the cost of Mephisto.

Great shoe! Felt comfortable right out of the box. Ecco's cost, but the quality is there. As always, Zappos service is the best!!

Just Right - Because I am on my feet for an entire 9 hour work day, comfort and support are my top priority. These shoes have performed beautifully. They are light weight, have good lateral support, and at the end of the day my 60 year old feet and legs are much less fatigued. Highly recommended.

Walk 100,000 miles in my shoes - I am 57 years old and my SeaWalkers are the most comfortable and durable shoes I have ever owned. I've had more expensive shoes but they were no comparison. Sidewalks or mountain trails these shoes outlast most others. Unfortunately I have just about worn my present ones out. I have put so many miles on them that the soles and the heels have worn through to the inner layer. It's time for a retread. They do take on the shape of your foot and very attached to them.

Like the shoes - This is my third pair of Eccos. I think the shoes are well made, comfortable and durable. Will buy more in the future.

SeaWalker Tie - Felt broken in when first worn!

Black is beautiful! (But so is brown!) This is my second pair of Sea Walker's. I purchased the brown from Zappos one year ago. When my new, black Sea Walker's arrived, I slipped them on and wore them all day with no break in needed. And my feet said “Smart purchase . . . again.” Zappos and Ecco, keep up the good work!

I bought these for my husband who is very hard on shoes. He has flat, wide feet and prior to buying these, always complained of sore feet at the end of the day. He is an Ecco convert and won't wear anything else now. This is his fourth pair of this particular style.

Super comfy shoes - This is one of the most comfortable shoes that my husband just loves them...he buys them in different styles...dressy or casual...they are just so versatile...and the easy return and fast shipping makes Zappos a really good place to shop shoes online, if it isn't number one yet...

Great shoe- Great value! I've just received my second pair of the SeaWalker Tie (Rust) after wearing out the bottoms of my first pair after 4 years or so. I've probably worn the original pair over 1000 days to work. Uppers still look great but can't replace these soles. Great business casual shoe- no break-in. I've tried to go to a more expensive and dressy shoe (Allen Edmonds, Ferragamo, etc.) but they are just not as comfortable. I also like the Mephisto Nautic but they are another 100 bucks and are a little more casual. If you like classic clothes and aren't into trends (square toes, narrow toes, etc.) these are an excellent shoe.

Walking on air - I love this shoe. It is the second pair I own. The first lasted about 8-10 years. I am on my feet all day and I forget I am wearing them. They are fairly non-skid and go with all my business and business casual clothes. Ordering from Zappos.com was a snap and the order arrived in days.

Ecco shoes - This is the second pair I have bought, after 1.5 years of everyday cement I wore through the soles. I still wear these to work around the house. The SeaWalker is the best shoe you will ever own.

Comfortable shoe for narrow foot - This is my first pair of Eccos -- I wanted a change from my usual Clark's Natureveldt. If I had it to do over again I'd probably trade these for the Clarks. The Eccos are considerably narrower across the instep and with my neuromas that isn't a good thing. The width of both was Medium, but the forefoot of the Clarks is hugely wider. I have narrow feet, so the narrow heels of the Eccos are a plus, but I need lots of room for my forefoot to splay, otherwise the inflamed nerves there get pinched and hurt. On the plus side the SeaWalkers' insoles have a bit of a transverse ridge in front of the ball of the foot, which encourages splaying. I've replaced the Ecco insoles with my custom orthotics, which have a more pronounced ridge, but it was cool to see that the Ecco folks "understand" that the ridge can be important for comfort. I can see that there are going to be problems with the stitching around the vamp. I never had any structural problems with the Clarks shoes, but after just a couple weeks it's clear that the stitching on the SeaWalkers is going to wear out soon. In the end, I'll feel good about the Eccos if their leather lining doesn't wear through after a year, the way the lining in both my previous pairs of Natureveldts did (in several places).

Best shoe ever!!! I'm on my second pair. The first pair, bought almost three years ago and worn five days a week, every week, looks like new. It's worn down a little bit in the heels, but otherwise looks superb and fits even better than when I first wore them.

Great Shoes! I recently was diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis and having good shoes is important. These shoes are comfortable and durable. They could make improvements by making wide sizes. There also appears to be a short break in period as this is my second purchase of these shoes.

Great shoe. Usually when I buy shoe it takes time to break it. This shoe is definitely the most comfortable shoe I ever bought.
