Great Shoe, great price, but also one of the most comfortable skate shoes there are. A classic in styling that will never get old.

This is my second pair of old skool vans and I am a girl - I love them that much. My first pair I didn't wear so much at first, but after I began wearing them, they immediately became my favorite everyday shoes to wear. They are very comfy after they are broken in (though the heels can take a few days to get worn in). The canvas and suede combo w/white looks so cool. I absolutely love these shoes and will buy a replacement if I need to cuz I always have to have a pair of vans in my closet. The price I paid for these was actually less than what I originally paid the first time I bought them. Get them, if you like the look, you will like them even more once you wear them..... :)

What can I say? I’ve been wearing Vans (old skool styles) for about 22 years. Like Chucks, they just work on a classic level. A simple, stylish shoe. It’s not going to overwork your foot with some kind of strange air-spring mattress that puts your foot at an unnatural angle. It’s not going to kill your budget. It doesn’t take long for the shoe to break in and stretch a bit and let your foot breathe. They’re just great casual lifestyle shoes. I think that’s why they’ve been embraced by the skateboarding and surfing communities and have lasted. I’m actually not sure what I’m going to do when they stop making them. HA! And yet I’m serious.

I am enjoying my Vans that I ordered through Zappos.com. NOTE to others, The Vans Old Skools run a little big, so go down 1/2 a size when ordering. Zappos.com service was outstanding and shipment was very quick. My first order was a little too big, however, Zappos.com return process and re-order process allowed me to receive the correct size within the same week. I will definitely order from Zappos.com again.

My husband (29 years old) already had one pair of these shoes. He loves them so much that I bought him a second pair of the exact same kind to have when the first pair wears out. They are obviously casual, yet they also look good and add personality to a low-key business-casual look (such as jeans and a button-up shirt). You don't see too many people wearing them in Illinois where we live now, but they're pretty popular in San Diego where we used to live. Either way, we both think they are great shoes. Zappos is the best! Their service simply cannot be beat.

Although I’ve only been wearing these shoes for three weeks, they already feel more comfortable than my standby Chucks. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cool but casual canvas shoe. My only complaint thus far is a minor risk of blistering to the back of the ankle - the shoe rubs up against skin in this area, especially when wearing ankle socks.

This is the second pair of shoes like this my son has owned. He loves them! I was amazed at how fast they got here. I ordered one day after lunch and they were here the next morning! Thanks Zappos!

I cannot comment on the shoe exactly, since I purchased them as a Christmas gift for my brother who loves them and says they are fantastic! But I can personally comment on Zappos, which continues to amaze me with each purchase I make. If I remember correctly, I ordered the shoe late on a Saturday and they were magically here by Monday! Thank you Zappos employees for always being so amazingly awesome!

These are really fun throwback sneakers! Comfy. A bit stiff at first, but break in quickly. Look great with jeans.

Skate these! Rip 'em up. They've got great board feel and the waffle grip lasts. If you're throwing yourself down stairs, shove a Dr. Scholl's sport insole in there. Don't worry about the canvas either: Take some duct tape and seal up any holes from the inside of the shoe! Any Vans shoe is best 10 minutes out of the box, especially if you skate in them!

Much more comfy than my Chucks! I was looking for a comfortable flat shoe to tool around in when I am not at work. These are awesome, much more cushion and support than the Chuck Taylors I used to wear. They took maybe 3 wears to break in the back heel, so it wasn't stiff, but after that, they are very comfy. I would highly recommend these shoes - they look cool, too.

My son picked these out - My son picked these shoes out and he really likes them. The only thing was that they were a little stiff for the first few days. We're a comfort shoe family and aren't used to having to break in a pair of shoes. They look great and have since adjusted.

Timeless - I was a junior in h.s. when these first came out. I wore them almost every day. They are super comfortable and go with everything in the kick-back clothing department. I will admit that when I saw "old school" and "classic" it did make me feel a little bit aged. I still love these shoes and will always keep a pair in my closet.

Great shoe - Comfy right out of the gate, don't look for too much cushion or support but if you like wearing sandals these shoes are similar in feel. Can’t say enough good things about Zappos customer service either.

You are a great buying source - I believe that one of the services you offer and I value most is your return policy. I am in constant need of new styles and different sizes all the time and I have been successful ordering through you. Your variety of styles and brands is very impressive. The following is not criticism but is something that I have experienced that you may want to know... the only problem I have experienced is that sometimes finding different options in colors or styles when purchasing for bigger sizes both for women and men has been somewhat limited. But I cannot complain.

BEST dance/zumba shoes. I've tried Nike Musique IV, shox cameo a shox ballo and these were by far the most supportive and cushiony. They run narrow so order a 1/2 size up if you have wide feet. The bloch brands are more flexible but these have more support. Since there's a lot of lateral movements in Zumba, I like this shoe for that type of dance and wear my bloch drt for less movement classes.

Never Fail!! Always Cool!! Started wearing them in the early 80s and always have a pair ready to wear. I once lost a pair while moshing in circle pit at a Blast show in Santa Cruz. Good times good times!!

Sensational. I have a wide foot and I didn't think these shoes would work, but they did!! Love them.

Great casual kicks - Had the navy and black ones back in middle school. Twelve years later, I bought another pair in black and can still pull them off--go figure. I normally wear a 9.5 and was glad to find that the 9.5's I ordered fit perfectly. Need some break in time to dirty them up; I don't like my feet glowing of new shoe. It makes me uncomfortable. Zappos' delivery and service is crazy fast and reliable. Been buying from them for years, now.

The perfect shoes - The shoes were perfect. They came the day after I ordered them and they fit perfect. Comfortable, and way better then wasting the gas to drive into town to get shoes. Zappos is great and I will continue to buy from them again and again.
