I have only one complaint about this shoe. When I first wore them, something in the back of the shoe was digging in to my heel and actually caused a bruise. After about 3 weeks, however, they're great!

These are super-comfortable. I usually wear the classic slip-on, but these offer a lot more side support. There is absolutely no arch support, but that's always the case with Vans. I wear inserts in mine, as I'm not a huge fan of tearing sensations in my arch.

These are classics. My husband has worn this shoe for years and we faithfully replace them as needed and will continue to do so. Zappos, you are speedy and reliable and we'll always turn to you for our online shopping needs. Thank you!

My husband has had several pairs exactly like this. He loves them and says they are very comfortable. They are a classic, but I couldn't find this exact one on the vans site! Zappos had them, though!

They need to be broken in; once they are, they are comfortable. Put a gel footbed in and they are great.

These shoes have been brilliant, they are comfortable for my son's feet, and they have lasted 2 years. That's huge for our family! He has worn them for good and now they are older they are being used for work shoes. They stand up to his busy life and to the washing machine. Great job Vans!

Very cute shoe; goes well from wearing it with jeans to using it as a shoe (required black, white, or black\/white) for my school uniform. No arch support; I added one.

Nice basic canvas sneakers, with thick gummy soles and pretty wide width. Not great for biking with toe clips, too much room. My Sambas are better for that, I take size 11 for Samba because they’re narrower, whereas the Vans 10.5 is good, 11 is way too much space.

I bought these for my 14 year old son the day before he left for 10 days in Italy. With no time to break them in, he hit the ground running in Italy and was comfortable from day one. And he looked really cool, too.

I really like these shoes. I’m a women size 10 and the 8.5 men’s size fit me perfectly. They make my feet look slimmer and are really stylish. They are comfortable, but no matter what sock I wear, the back rubs against my ankle and gives me blisters. Maybe they just aren’t broken in yet. I like them, I’m going to keep them, they seem more durable than other Vans that I have owned.

This is a great looking shoe. I like the fact it is mostly canvas, around the bottom of the shoe it is rubber. The rubber part isn\'t as white as the canvas, so it\'d be a good idea to try your best not to get the rubber part dirty. No arch support, but not a big deal to me, seeing as I am used to wearing Converse (got the same size Vans as I did Converse).

I adore Zappos! I wear a size 16 1/2 and I can't just walk into any store and buy a pair. So Zappos.com adds convenience with options. I have been ordering from here for about two years and the Vans leathery back thingy tends to crack after about three weeks but otherwise, they are phenomenal.

Great shoes! I've had 3 pairs of these shoes over the last several years, a true classic. Vans added a little padding to the tongue, my older versions didn't have this, but it still feels the same. Do not buy these if you like thick heel running shoes; these are as flat as flat gets. I do notice that the actual shoe size varies a bit even within the same listed size. I've worn 10.5 - 11.5 depending on the specific pair Zappos sends. Other than that, I will probably keep wearing these as my everyday casual shoes as long as Vans keeps making them. And I'll keep buying them from Zappos, great job!

These shoes are great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They look and feel nice. All black goes with anything so it's a great choice. No problems so far and I have them in white too. They're very durable. I got them within 2 days with standard shipping so get yours too!

It seems that when I buy a pair of Vans from you guys I only get one pair of shoe laces. In your little info vid about the shoe, you guys always say that "Vans hooks you up with two shoe lace colors" but I never see the other laces, whats up with that? wheres Bill's laces? the video has two, but yet I still only get one. Its rather sad but I still carry on, just me and my one pair of shoe laces. Thanks, Bill

Great shoe. These are VERY comfortable, and they seem true to size. My only complaint is they are a little narrow in the toe area, but because they are canvas, they stretch out. I'd recommend these to anyone.
