These used to have decent quality removable insoles. Now they have cheep ones so poorly glued in that I half ripped them out before even realizing it was glued. Now I can't return them despite being more poorly made than they used to be only a couple years ago. Very disappointed.

This model has changed from previous pair bought and gave my son blisters on first day of school. It has a higher back and super uncomforable. Had to drop off his old shoes as he couldn't walk.

I bought this exact model of shoes directly from a Vans Outlet back around 2021. Those shoes wore out and I bought these as a replacement.
The new model hurts my feet so bad. I’m trying to break them in, but there’s a huge difference in sizing from 2021 to 2025, I’m a true 6.5 wide width. In my older pair, I’m able to wear thick socks, with some room to give. In the new pair, I’m wearing thin socks and my feet are pushing against the front of the shoes, and I’m getting blisters on the back of my heels.
I would go a full size up if you’re used to the old model. Sad I can’t exchange these. I love this style, I think I’ll just purchase directly from a brick and mortar Vans store next time to ensure the correct fit. I just can’t believe how off the sizing is in this pair. I’m a true 6.5 women’s wide width, these shouldn’t be painful. They feel like a 5.5 women’s in narrow.

The checkers look yellow! And it looks so obvious because of the vans logo being so white you expect the squares being white not yellow.

I got2 pairs of shoes online &one came defective. The tongue in the right shoe was short &it looks weird when I put them on. The left shoe was fine. They told me I cant exchange but can return and PAY FOR SHIPPING TWICE.

I gave my son a pair of these shoes for Christmas. After a few wears they began to fall apart at the seams. I took pictures and sent them to customer service. I had purchased them in late October since I begin my shopping early. Even though the pics clearly show shoes that had barely been worn, they were outside the return/warranty window so they did nothing. Money wasted, and I feel bad that my son's gift fell apart immediately. I'd give zero stars if I could. I won't purchase Vans again.

I love these. I got mine dirty so I bought new ones. These came in very dark, they almost looked wet. I've had them for days now and they're still dark.

This shoes does not last long
My son got it for Christmas and he started used until mid January and but the end of February they fall a part.

I have been wearing Vans shoes since I was a kid which is over 40 years and the quality in there shoes seems to continue to decline each year. These shoes have had very minimal use as you can tell through the photos. The top portion of the shoe where the foot inserts is completely breaking down and the black canvas is already peeling off. I am very disappointed in my purchase and definitely did not expect these to last for such a short period. The bottom of the rubber sole has not even begun to wear and the shoe is already falling apart.

Both my heels are blistered after wearing these. Stitching on the back rubs into the achilles. I've worn vans for years with no problem until now.

I bought these specifically for the Sherpa lining for the warmth. The Sherpa is only around the ankle and doesn't line the shoe. This should be in the description.

The shoes had a small black spot on the top near the laces.
I plan on wearing them to work so I won't bother returning them.
I won't order anymore, I'll buy them in person so I can look at them myself.
