Fit fine but one shoe was dingy looking on the white.

Loved how the shoe looked with sundresses on my recent trip to Seattle. The shoe felt roomy enough, even with my orthodics, but the area over the top of my foot, where the tongue and eyelets are, kept shifting and rubbing. Had to resort to flipflops after two days. returning.

Just too tight

My son normally wears a men's 13 1/2 but we always end up getting a 14 because not many shoe makers make a men's size 13 1/2. The size 14 was HUGE!!!! The width was great though for his slightly wide feet. Nice style though.

Shoes felt very tight with thick socks. No arch support what so ever. Perhaps comfy fit might be better.

Wore them for about a month they started to make a sound when walking. I have another pair. From somewhere else the same make. They don't make the sound. This happens when I buy from Zappos, I hope the shoes are legit.

We have bought plenty of pairs of vans and all were comfortable. This particular style is so uncomfortable. My daughter can't wear them with out getting blisters. I wish we could return them, but she already wore them outside. Waste of $60. Looks like she'll be wearing her old vans this school year.

Not very comfortable. Need insoles for comfort

The shoe rubbed so much against my son's achilles tendon that it made him bleed on both feet on the achilles area. He has other Vans shoes that does not do that. He really liked the style of this shoe, but this one made him bleed. He takes a 10.5 in Vans, but in dress shoes he takes an 8.

Fit small

Looks like a shoe, feels like a flat rock strapped to your feet.

I'm in the minority, but these shoes were not comfortable. I'm typically an 8.5 so I'm glad I ordered a half size smaller based on other reviews. I can see why an 8.5 would be too large. The shoes squeaked and 'groaned' the moment I tried them on. Very noisy no matter what socks I wore, or how I laced them. I don't think they would have gotten better with wear. They weren't too big either. The moment I tried them on, I could tell they would hurt my feet. The seams seem to dig into every bone on my foot. Not for me. I don't think it helps that this is a man's shoe. Just not designed for a woman's foot. I bought Ryka brand and LOVE their look and the fit.

My husband ordered these in 13, his typical size. They were huge. We exchanged them for a 12 since Vans doesn't make 1/2 sizes. 12s too small. Sent back. No vans for us.

These shoes look great but are incredibly uncomfortable. I wore them grocery shopping and got blisters on both feet in 2 hours.

My son only wore these shoes a few months before the sole started coming apart from the fabric. Quality is lacking.

I had initially liked this product - they run huge so I had to order three sizes until I got one that fit. They were great the first two wears and then the ankle portion of the shoe got totally stretched out and now my foot just slides all the way forward when I wear them, no matter how tight I tie them. It's such a bummer that after going through all of the trouble with customer service that these just don't fit right. I'd return if they hadn't been worn the two times.

The shoes appeared to look good when I first received them, however, after about 2 weeks the rubber on the sole of the shoe started to separate from the base. We attempted to glue it back together, but still it wouldn't hold. Basically, I would like another pair because I wear them to work.

I didn't love this sneaker. It's very masculine feeling and looking. The collar comes up very high on the ankle, not so flattering and the shoe was very heavy too. Not a keeper.

I am normally a fan of Vans and I have been wearing them whenever possible for over 15 years. My favorite Vans that I have ever worn were a pair of all blue skater-style shoes, and I was extremely excited to see something similar available again. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with these shoes. The shoes were much narrower and slightly smaller overall than I would have expected for the size that I ordered. Additionally, they began developing small holes in the material after a month or two. I work an office job and sit behind a desk all day, so I'm not overly hard on my shoes. Usually a pair of shoes with daily wear can last me 18 months at a minimum. Today, 7 months after purchase, the entire outside of my right shoe ripped from heel to toe. I was sitting in a chair and stretched my legs with this happened. There were no obstacles or abuse in play here. I'm sad that these were nowhere near the quality that I've come to expect from Vans shoes and I'm not sure if I'll be ordering another pair.

After wearing these shoes for about two months, the white strip where the canvas meets the thick white rim began peeling away from the black canvas on both shoes. In addition, the white rim has begun to peel away from the bottom of one of the shoes. Other than those durability issues, the shoes fit perfectly but have little to no padding in the soles.

These are probably the most uncomfortable sneakers I've ever worn. Before buying these, I wore a few pairs of Vans - some chukkas, some kind of low tops - all of which I liked well enough, even if they did wear out pretty quickly. Initially, these ripped into my heel so bad I couldn't wear them until I healed - and these sat there brand new. It took way too long to break these in - I don't get why they required breaking in in the first place. Now that they're broken in I wear them every day but they're not comfortable. And living in NYC, I walk a lot. Maybe for skating or for not-walking these would be better. I hate these shoes.

The DVS sneaker I always get was out of stock which led me to try these out. That will be the last pair I ever purchase. Look good, feel terrible.
