Great shoe, fairly priced - Very nice look. One of the mid-priced patent leather dress shoes that I looked at. Good balance of value/style/comfort. I ended up with this one in part b/c it came in wide sizes.

Stacy Adams Concorde - I have a wedding to attend in August and the groom specifically requested these shoes. They arrived v. quickly and in 100% condition. The shoes fit well and look spectacular.

What more can you ask for, good looks, comfort at a inexpensive price.

Comfortable right out of the box - I bought these shoes and wore them to a black-tie fundraiser right out of the box. They were so comfortable I wasn't even aware I had them on.

Sharp Kix - Definitely a must have for Stacy lovers. Very comfortable. I was at a business conference the other day and got lots of compliments on my shoes. These shoes are classy with a look that will never go out of style!

Spit shine with a good look! I think this is a very dressy looking shoe. It has a HIGH GLOSS polish that looks nice. The white stitching along the top of the sole stands out a bit, but it is something you can get use to. I would order this shoe again. I found Zappos a great web site due to the LARGE selection of shoes for my hard to fit foot, free shipping and excellent customer service. I had to make a phone call to customer service, and it was handled quickly and professionally. I will definitely purchase from this site again.

Nice - Compared to my wonderful Floorsheim Lexington (from here) they feel even better on the feet. I still have to get used to them not being complete black, but having the lighter fringe around the shoe visible from the top - initially it looks like "missing paint", but I think it's just an unusual design I haven't got used to yet.

Gift for Dad - Well, my father needed dress shoes in a wider width to accomodate the continued swelling in his feet from knee replacement surgery. So, leave it to me to find a pair for him that he absolutely raved about, "Oh, they fit perfectly and I love the shine ... now I need another pair, preferably a loafer and in brown."

Stylish patents for a sensible price - I was very pleased with my Stacy Adam's Concordes. For some time I've been shopping for stylish formal dress shoes priced relative to the limited occasions I'd wear them. The Concordes are exactly what I want. I found the size/width true and, although I've only walked about in them for a small period of time, I don't anticipate comfort problems. Note: the upper stitching [around the sole] is white. While I find it a pleasing contrast, it may not be to every ones taste.

Best shoe around - I'v been wearing Stacy Adams shoes for about 25 yrs or so, and I must admit that they are the most stylish and the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I do have one complaint though: they are so darn hard to find.

BEST SHOE - Wear it constantly. Great Shoe and Great Flexibility. Takes a little breaking in, yet it maintains its shape perfectly

The formal shoe - The best formal shoe ever!

This is a shoe I've worn since the mid fifties, before it was available in patent leather. I continue to wear them because the size and width never change....not to mention it looks so good and I receive so many compliments.

Outstanding. I own about 6 pairs of Stacy Adams Madison, and I thought I would take a poke at this style, the "Concorde". Received them this weekend, and am now wearing them. This is really an excellent shoe. Exceptional mirror-glass smooth patent leather, and a beefy rubber sole which looks like leather. Very comfortable. Yes, it's substantially less expensive than the similar and superior Madison style---there are places where the shoe is more "quickly" made than the Madison. Nevertheless, it is, per dollar, at least as good of a value as the Madison. The black version EASILY works with a tuxedo---and just as easily works with the black dress pants, blue dress shirt, and gray blazer I'm wearing right this second with my black concordes. Like all Stacy Adams shoes, this shoe requires routine care to look its best. You'll want a jar of Meltonian shoe cream, or at the very least Kiwi shoe polish, handy after each wearing...and before the first wearing.

My husband is very hard to fit. With a small heel pad this shoe works great for his infrequent need for a shoe to wear with his tux.

Seems narrow - Good looking tux shoe, but was much too narrow for me. In dress shoes I usually wear an 11.5 wide or 12 regular and the 12 was way too narrow. Unfortunately wides were not available. Also, I'm not clear why these shoes are man-made/leather uppers.

Good value - Great looking shoe. Pointed toe attractive, but makes shoe longer than normal. Tough break-in.

Great look, good comfort- These shoes have a great look, very stylish, and I love the white stitching. They are ok comfort wise. But any time you get a leather sole/wood heeled shoe, you know that it is not going to fit like a tennis shoe. Looks right at home with a tux. Overall, I would definitely recommend this shoe, especially for the price. Zappos was superb to deal with. Probably the best internet transaction I have been involved in.

Stacy Adams Concorde Formal dress shoe - Initially, I was very impressed. However, upon closer inspection, the outer forefoot has blemishes that cannot be wiped away with mild soap and a soft cloth. If I were not pressed for time, I would have returned them. Further, I was not too thrilled with the natural color welt and white thread--which I promptly dyed black. The shoes are quite comfortable and did not require "breaking in."

This shoe is great for dressy ocasions. The shine is not to be believed! At first glance I wasn't happy with the pointed toe (I was afraid they would cramp my toes), but after wearing them I'm happy to say my first glance was wrong. I wouldn't recommend wearing these for extended periods of time (and be careful walking the soles are leather and a bit slippery). They would even look good with a tux.
