It was an "almost" for my daughter. She thought they were comfortable but didn't like the squishy sound that emanated from them with each step. I remember having a similar pair long ago that did the same thing and it didn't wear off for a very long time.

Pretty cute shoe. Not as comfortable as I hoped. Maybe it just needs more breaking in.

I loved the style of this shoe and ordered a 7 Wide. When it arrived, I was disappointed to find that it didn't feel at all a wide fit but in fact a regular fit. Returning it today.

While I remember Bass sandals from my college days as super comfortable, these sandals are a little disappointing. The footbed is comfy, but the leather straps are rather stiff and the edges hard. Wearing them just a short time left red marks on my skin from rubbing. Hopefully the leather will soften with dressing and after break-in they will be as good as those from my college memory.

The footbed is soft and cushioned. I was surprised and disappointed at how snug the sandals fit right out of the box. I hope that the cross straps will loosen with wear.

I owned a pair of these, Bass, size 10M, from about 1980-2000. They were awesome! They fit because they ran longer and wider than the average 10M. However, I just ordered a 10W (her actual size, thinking it would be a bit big on her, so she can "grow" into it over the summer) for my daughter, and they were shorter and narrower for the size. She had to squeeze her foot into it. So something has changed (manufacturer?). They no longer run long/wide. They now run narrower, and just a tiny bit short for the size.

This is a very good looking shoe. The sole is very comfortable, but the sound of air escaping every time you step does get annoying. The sole is also pretty heavy so I find that I am clopping around. The straps are in a strange location so it rubs my toes the wrong way. I am keeping them in the hopes the straps stretch out and are more comfortable once worn in, because for me the heaviness and the air sound are kind of minor.

It is okay, it looks nice and elegant but the leather at the finger is a little thick and makes it sort of uncomfortable for a long walk. It is nice but it is not an everyday flip flop in terms of comfort.

I like the look of these, and the footbed is comfortable and cushion-y, but the straps were tight and on the narrow side. I'm sure they'll break in eventually, but I needed them for an event a few days after I received them and didn't have enough time to try to break them in, but I wore them outside while trying to break them in, so I couldn't return them, and had to buy something else as well.

The shoe was way too narrow. I owned this particular brand and style a few years ago and loved it. They must have changed it since then. The material on the straps seems cheaper as well. Sending it back.

Cute but uncomfortable. I wore these sandals just 1 day on vacation and still have blisters from the stiff leather straps after 3 weeks. I believed Bass to be a good brand name but I won't be trying them again.

The sole is really comfortable, but there's a leather strap that goes down into the arch that would make a blister if I wore it for more than a few minutes. Also, the strap between the toes is incredibly painful. Had to return these.

These are horrible. The fake leather plastic-y straps gave me blisters the first 5 times I wore them so I just gave up.

Bought these for my daughter. The straps take the skin right off. I tried them for an hour also and had the same experience. The edges of the straps are so sharp. Not sure what to do since they have been worn.

I purchased these slides because of all the great reviews, so I was really surprised to find them to be horribly uncomfortable - painfully so! The footbed was padded and felt fine, but the straps (at least on the white ones) are so hard and stiff that they cut into my toes in all directions. Needless to say, they're going back. The Teva Cabrillo Toe Post Slide is soft and comfortable right from the start - too bad they don't come in white - I highly recommend them.

I LOVED my old pair of these sandals, but this new pair is grossly sub-standard. They've replaced good leather straps with some kind of pressed paper. I had one strap break after only 2 weeks of normal wear -- the same strap on the other sandal broke a couple of days later -- another strap broke a week after that!

Well, I just got them and I'm torn. I love the style and fit. These are really cute and classic and very comfortable. However, I've been walking around the living room in them and they make a very audible "swoosh" sound with every step. And I don't mean a little bit - you can hear it in the next room and they are distracting my cats. Sadly, I think they will have to go back.

Love them! This is my second pair! Wore them all through my pregnancy and after!

I ordered these in the extra wide because other reviewers said the regular wide were still too narrow. However, these are huge meaning the straps way too loose to stay on my feet. :(

These shoes are very comfortable and provide a little more support than your standard cheap flip flops, which I definitely need. They are also really good quality. They run slightly small but they still fit fine as they have some give.

Love these sandals. Had a pair when I was younger. Wore them out after 20 years. Shouldn't have worn them swimming and they probably would have lasted longer. They were just so comfortable I wanted to wear them everywhere. This time, no water places.

The Bass Sharon have been my favorite summer sandals for the last 40 years! I just cannot say anything better than that.

This product was well made and looked just like the pictures. I ordered it in wide but it was nowhere near wide enough for my foot, not even my toe area. So I will return these and try something else. I do love Zappos, returns are easy!

Great for wide feet! Order the widest size. Comfortable, cute, easy, I have them in black and white, they last long too.
