Strange but acceptable: I received the shoe in typical Zappos time within 48 hours and when I open the box the shoe looked marvelous, except for one thing. The shoe looked as if it had been put together overnight. The Stacy Adams label was glued to the inside of the shoe directly to upper inside part of the sole without any insole. Luckily, I really liked the shoe and happened to have an insole already or I would have returned them. It's a classic styling shoe and I was glad I took the advice from the other reviews, you definitely should order a size smaller and maybe a size wider. Other than the questionable insole, it appears to be a good, solid shoe.

These took about 3 weeks to break in. Normally I wear a 8.5 but a 7.5 felt best, especially when it came to the support.

Just Okay - Loose fit. Maybe a size smaller that stated would be a better fit.

Shoe is nice, but too much gloss. The shoe should have leather that's not treated with the shiny stuff. It looks good, but they don't make it in a narrow, so we with thin feet have wrinkles in the side of the shoe. It's still really nice. Plus, I take an 11 1/2 and in this shoe it was a 10 1/2. I had to return two pairs until I got the right one.

I purchased a size 9 and I felt like I was four years old wearing my father's shoes. These shoes feel a full size bigger. I wear a size 9 and I am returning these for a size 8. This was disappointing.

Worst dress shoes I have owned. The leather is very poor. They lasted a couple of days before they cracked all over. Don't cheap out here, because you will be buying a new pair in a week.
