After they broke in they work really well, very comfortable, still nice looking. I had to return the medium and order the wide.

Very nice looking, leather quality was not as good as I expected, kind of papery. They do fit well, and have wide sizes - big plus!

The width is small is this brand. I ordered a Wide (E) for my husband and they are more like a regular width compared to many other brands we have. A 3E would probably work if they had it in stock.

This is a really unique and attractive item for the price. It is about 1/2 size lower than normal sizing. I really liked the look of it but couldn't get past how cheap it felt. The leather is like a very thin patent leather type material, that appears that it would crack or tear easily. The black color of the shoe seems unnaturally black, and it smelled funny and there was ink on my hands after handling the shoe. I loved the way they looked and the price is right but I just couldn't get past how cheap they felt and so I returned them. I love Zappos and they were of course easy to deal with for the return.

I normally wear a size 9, but bought half-size bigger per the other reviews and they fit perfect! The shoes were comfortable right out of the box. The quality isn't as high, but for the price they're good -- and they look great. Zappos is awesome! Great service and because of their fast delivery on my first two purchases -- I'll be back.

Very cheap looking and smelled awful. I bought extra wide which was great around the ankle but the sole was still narrow so I couldn't even stand on them. The weird thing is that they were extremely long. I am usually a 13 but got this in a 12 and it was at least a full size too long. Weird. And again, they look and feel so cheap. I'm extremely disappointed.

Classy dress shoe that works with blue jeans as well suits. Fantastic price for leather soled wide shoes. Very comfortable without inserts, which is important because their won't be any room for inserts. No complaints with the shoe as it fits my needs of a dress shoe with no foamy rubber that will compress and break down quickly.

First of all, the other reviews are true: these shoes are well-crafted and stylish. Also, they're the most comfortable dress shoes I have ever put on my feet. Regarding sizing, though, I do feel like these run large. I initially heard they run true to size. I usually wear a 9.5 or a 9, so I bought 9. They were way big, I almost didn't believe they were 9s. I returned for 8.5 and they were a much better fit, though I bet I could even fit into the 8s (being a bit more snug). Thanks to Zappos for their great return policy. They gave me free one day shipping on the return back. Wow!

I really like the light colored stitching around the upper and sole. I think it makes the shoe stand out a little from other similar shoes. It's a very comfortable shoe and terrific value. I bought a second pair. I also bought a pair of casual suede shoes from Stacy Adams and they are extremely comfortable. I like the brand.

Looks good and fits well - Had heard good things about Zappos, so I took a gamble and ordered two pairs of shoes. Quality and fit were right on the money and I never left the house. Thanks...and yes "I'll be back."

Incredible Service-Awesome Shoe - I'm very impressed with the service of Zappos.com. I ordered at 4pm central time and still received the shoe next day. Now that’s fast!! On the shoe: I've search and searched for a new shoe, one with style and comfort and durability. I've checked probably everyone of them here on the Zappos site along with all the local retail stores. I never found anything I liked until I came across this pair of Stacy Adams. I saw it had 122 reviews all positive, took everyone’s advice by ordering a 1/2 size smaller than normal and ordered this shoe. I must say that this shoe is awesome! It's my first pair of Stacy Adams and definitely won’t be my last. Thanks to everyone's reviews, it helped me to decide on this shoe. The only thing I didn't like about the shoe was the shoe strings, which I easily replaced with dress shoe strings. This shoe is really comfortable, classy and worth every penny!

Stacy Adams a hit - I have been ordering and wearing these shoes from Zappos for years. They fit right and wear right. Great shoes! Don't much care for the brown soles and the white stitching but they are gone with the first polish anyway.

Comfort for an older man - As a boy, I grew up wearing the older style Stacy Adams shoes to school. At that time, I did not like them in the 1960's. As I grew into manhood, I realized the value of such a pair of high class shoes. Now that I am an older man in my 50's, Stacy Adams Madison is all I wear for dress and casual wear. It is such a stylish shoe and does not have such a high heel. I wear the lace up dress shoes, and it is a really comfortable shoe. I would compare this shoe style to be compared with the top shoes of Bostonian, Florsheim, and Bates. I have worned all these brands, and I have decided to stay with the Stacy Adams shoes. I have introduced my son who is in elementary school to the wearing of Stacy Adams brand shoes!

Love the shoe - My husband has worn these shoes for years. (He is 54 y/o) My dad is 78 y/o and has worn them for years as well. They have become very hard to find so we just took the chance to go online and there you all were. The "view" and "angles" helped us to get the exact shoe that he had here at home, (that he had worn a hole into). We desperately needed another pair and were pleased with the shoe when it arrived. We were also pleased with the expedience of which we ordered and received the shoe. Thanks Zappos for being there. We had to have THAT shoe!

Madison Look - Nice shoes. Slightly narrow for my foot although with a little more wear they will probably break in just fine.

Formality Woes Made Better- I never have to wear a suit/tie to work. However, once in a while I get "required" to go to a formal event. The Madison shoe makes having to put on a monkey suit more enjoyable simply due to the fact that my feet are comfy!

NOT true to size - Had to return these great shoes for two reasons. First, there was a scrape on sole that looked like someone wore one (not both) shoes outdoors. This may be a defect from the manufacturer since both shoes did not have the scrape on the sole. But most importantly, these shoes run one full size larger than true size. Zappos is the only way my family shops for shoes this year, and certainly forever. Love everything about the site and have never had a problem with the quality or return policy, so we're sad about the delay in getting the correct size and trying again for quality, and this one small instance of quality control (it's never happened before), but love everything else about Zappos.

Stacy Adams Review - This is my second pair. The shoes are very comfortable and last a long time.

Zappos is the best - Zappos has the best customer service I have ever encountered. My husband has big feet and it took me three orders of shoes before my husband finally found a pair that he loved and were very comfortable. The free shipping and returns were a breeze. For now on, my husband will buy all his shoes from Zappos. The company is pleasant and courteous. I highly recommend it to all. And the shoes arrive the very next day. Unbelievable!

Great job Zappos - This is a great dance shoe! But better yet is the service that I got from Zappos! The original size 12's were at least a size 13. Within 3 days Zappos had size 11s that fit perfectly at my doorstep! Unbeleivably, my best Internet purchase experience ever!
