Sperry Billfish Review - Met all my expectations.

Great shoes, Great Zappos - I've been shopping for the Billfish around my area, and just could not find it in my size. Then I found Zappos online...the Billfish is a great shoe...stylish, comfortable, true-to-size, and I'm glad I found it at Zappos. This was one of the most comfortable buying experiences I've ever had!

Great shoe - These are my favorite shoes. They are my third pair. I still have all three pairs, and I bought my first pair six years ago. I work on my feet in sales five days a week and I can't wear them out.

Comfy casual - First experience with Zappos...GREAT! After much coaxing, I was able to get my husband to pick out a couple pairs of shoes. This one was his favorite. It's sturdily made, looks great, wonderfully comfortable with a great insole. A nice smart, casual shoe. He wears an 8.5W in Rockports, but after reading the reviews, got the 9W and it fits perfectly.

Second pair - I first bought the Billfish about 5 years ago. I thought it was the most comfortable casual shoe I ever owned. The new pair are just the same. Good arch support built in and the mesh keeps them from getting too hot. Great shoes for boating or just hanging out.

Great deck/boat shoe! I've worn lots of boat shoes - for racing in the past - and now just because I love them. This is the best Sperry! Great comfort, support & styling. I wear this one out and about and my all black Mephisto Hurrikan for dress! I'm a woman with a size 11 shoe but have bought these in men's size 9 for years.

Billfish - This is my second pair of Billfish shoes. I really like the durability of the shoes as well as the look. The only gripe I have with this particular pair is that there is some pinching around my upper foot where the stitching meets the tongue and lace area of the shoe. Hopefully this will this will go away as the shoes get worked in over time.

Boat shoe wearer - In an ideal world there would be a 7 1/2 wide, but an 8 medium is working well for me. Also, dark brown and white would look better than tan and off-white, BUT... these are very comfortable shoes. I've worn "docksiders" for thirty five years and these are by far the best I've had. This is my second pair. And, you can not beat Zappos for low price and fast delivery.

Jerry A - Seattle WA area - Travel'g to BVI to Sail a 50' Sloop to FT. Lauderdale in 11 days & can't find any wide comfortable boat shoes. Wife ran across this site & I saw these billfish tan & was able to really examine them and read great reviews & multi view them like in a store.. but would they arrive on time for the trip? Chance it.. Ordered them 11:30pm and surprise they arrived @ ~4pm on the 2nd day from Kentucky no less.. now 9 days have to break them in.. not necessary.. comfortable from 1st wear. 8 days, need sandals. Found Cutter Crane.. Just recvd them and wearing them as I write. now 4 more days, still time, what shall I get? Just kidding.. AARRRGGH. Thanks Zappos for your great service and wonderful webdesign.. Makes shopping easy and QUICK.. (But you could work on the prices a bit.. however with the free shipping it is worth it.)

Great boat shoe - This is a great boat shoe, available in WIDE width. This is my 3rd pair. It would be better if available in WIDE in all colors. Order processing from Zappos was exceptional!

I certainly put both pairs of shoes to the test since I do a fair share of walking on a daily basis. I can say without question both pairs of shoes have performed admirably in the size and especially comfort area . Both were extremely comfortable whether wearing sox or not and left no irritation around the ankle while breaking them in.

I normally have difficulty finding comfortable shoes as I have a wide foot; these are extremely comfortable and nice-looking.

Best beach shoes ever? Maybe - I live on the beach; I walk on the beach 4-5 times a day. These shoes have become my "uniform." I love the feel, love the fit, love the look. They are also great for casual evenings out. Best beach shoes ever? For me, yes.

5 Pairs and still buying them.. I have purchased 5 pairs of the Billfish and I'm still in love with them. I wear one pair out, and look forward to getting another new pair. Shoes work incredibly well on wet floors, decks, etc. I've used mine from Alaskan waters to Florida Keys and NOTHING compares. I have thought about restitching some of my old ones, but then I wouldn't get to wear the new ones, forget about it, I'll just order another new pair.

Hurricane proof - I purchased these shoes last summer and wore them everyday. On Aug. 13th 2004, we went through the storm in Ft. Myers. They feel like bedroom slippers and seem to wear like steel. A great buy.

Stylish comfort - With Sperry Top-Sider's Billfish I think I've found the perfect shoe for my semi-retired lifestyle. I hardly ever wear a suit and conventional shoes anymore, besides wich the Top-Sider is more comfortable than a pair of loafers. I have two pair of Billfish; one that pair that I've worn for four years, which understandably shows its age, but which is still comfortable and ideal for working in the yard and so forth. The other beige/tan pair is newer and properly stylish looking for more formal occasions such as dinner out or even business meetings. T. Lincoln
