I wear an 8 1/2 shoe. The fit was sloppy, but would have been too small had I gone down to an 8. Unfortunately I had to return. They would have been comfortable shoes.

Love the moccasin but it was way to big. I returned it for a half size smaller--still too big. I'm waiting for my 3rd order @ a full size smaller. Other than that, the moccasin felt great! I love the look and feel. I purchased in grey.

A little too big. I usually wear a 5.5 to 6. These were too big in a 6. They are cute though

Should have believed the other reviews. Very disappointed. Other than the sole, there is absolutely no real "substance" to this shoe. More like a suede sock with a hard sole.

I give up! I was trying to replace a pair of Minnetonka slippers I had worn to death. I started with my regular size, 8, and then tried a 7 1/2. Still too big. Today I got the 7s. Too small!

I never wore them so I can’t say anything about the comfort or arch support. I usually take 7-1/2 and sometimes an 8, so I ordered a 7-1/2. They were too long and too wide. Unfortunately I had to send them back.

I bought these to wear around in the house. The sizing in this moccasin is not like others. I've been wearing Minnetonka moccasins for 40 years and always had a true size fit. This one runs almost one size larger but not quite. So it's difficult to find the exact fit. I'm normally a size 9 which is what I first ordered. It felt a full size too large. I could get my thumb easily behind my heel. So I reordered a full size down to an 8 and it is a bit close in the toe bed. Now, thinking about returning again for an 8.5. It's a very pretty moccasin but runs long and narrow at the tip of the toe bed which makes it tricky to find the exact fit. I wish someone would have written a precise review to count on when I first ordered. I read mixed reviews on sizing so didn't know which way to order. Order a Half-Size down.

Returned 1st pair...got half size smaller but right foot still slipped off back of heel when walking. Added inserts...better but not as comfy as I'd hoped. Kept them though not wearing as often as I thought I would.

As others have reviewed on sizing, these were waaaaay too big. I really can't comment on the overall feel, comfort or support. Disappointed because I really like Minnetonka's. I normally wear a 5.5M or 6M but not in mocs, had to send them back.

This is my second pair of these Mocs, tho I did not purchase the first pair from Zappos. My old pair finally wore out after three years, and I loved them. Sadly, the new ones are definitely more cheaply made, gap at the sides from the outset, toes are more pointed than the old pair, and the soles are thinner. I have terrible feet (bunions, very sensitive toes due to psoriasis, higher arch), and it is hard to find great shoes. I use these mostly as slippers, and will keep them, but know they won’t last as long as the first pair. As usual, Zappos service was great.

i tried to order this shoe in black about a week ago...it was 36 dollars then. I requested to be notified when it was in stock(and I was not) assumed it would be the same price as it was then. Now saying I got the last one today but at a much higher price????

I am ordering my 3rd pair after sizing issues with the first two. I love the style, comfort, and look, but I agree the quality control on the sizing is not good. I am usually 9-9.5 and the 9 in these was wayyy too big. I returned them and ordered an 8. The left shoe was too small and the right shoe was a perfect fit. The left and right shoes were visibly different sizes even though they were both labeled as 8. So I am trying my luck with an 8.5. If those don’t work I’m done with these, which is too bad. Fingers crossed.

For what I needed, these are OK-I wanted something to wear around the house (I'm usually barefoot) and also wanted to be able to go outside briefly-The have a seam across the bottom (side to side) that I feel without socks but the point was to get something to slip on and off, no socks needed. I wouldn't wear these away from the house-not support and not stable enough but I can keep them in the car and use as a driving shoe on long trips, since my feel swell when I take road trips and these are loose enough for that. Again, just OK .

the shoes are adorable, well made with adorable soul however I ordered my usual size 8 and they are full size too big. I will have to exchange for a women's 7.

Too big

I so wanted to like these! Perfectly light weight for packing as an extra pair of shoes for my pack-light vacation coming up! However, they just didn't fit. Fine at the toe, but too long and slipped off my feet even with socks and so wide at the sides that there was over an inch gap on the outside edge. Oh well, I'll have to return them.

They are way too big! I should’ve really listened to other reviews and ordered a smaller size.

I thought these would be more like a shoe, but I think they should best be described as a bedroom slipper, even though they do have a sole that can be worn outdoors. The fit is extremely "sloppy" and there is no support whatsoever anywhere. Also, I ordered the "taupe" color and I would never describe the color of the shoes that arrived as taupe. To me, they're more of a light tan -- nothing taupe about them at all -- much lighter in color than shown on the website. I did keep them, however, as they have a classic moccasin look and will be fine around the house as a bedroom slipper or as something that can be easily slipped on if I need to run outside to take out the trash or pick up the newspaper. But I would definitely recommend against using them for any kind of walking around, as they just don't fit well enough or have any support.

Cute shoes, order at least a 1/2 size smaller. They run big and will stretch

I have two pairs of these moccasins so I ordered the same size I purchased previously, what a mistake! The moccasins that arrived felt at least a full size larger. Im sending them back and ordering a size down...hopefully they will fit as I do love these shoes! Thanks Zappos for making returns and exchanges so easy!

The left shoe was about a full size to large and the right shoe fit true to size.

I have a pair of these same shoes in a dark brown color that I love so much I bought them again in black. I bought half a size down in the brown color and they were perfect. That same half down size in black was enormous with huge gaps on the side of my foot. I kept them and wore them a few times, thinking maybe they weren’t so bad, but that was a mistake and I should have returned them. I still love my brown pair, but the sizing for these shoes is extremely inconsistent.

I think the quality has declined over the years for these mocs. I had mine for only a few months and the suede had already started to come apart. I was really disappointed since I used to have a pair a couple years ago and they lasted much longer. However, if you have wide feet like me you should still get a pair because they are super comfy.
