Love the boots! I purchased the cognac washed oiled vintage boots and just love the color. Because I have a neuroma in my right foot, I did order a half size up to accommodate a wider foot bed. With my thick socks it works perfectly! As anyone with foot problems knows, it is very difficult to find something that is comfortable. Thanks Zappos for your support.

These boots are adorable and fit like a glove! They were comfortable the first time I walked in them, it took no time to break in. If you are hesitating to purchase a pair, don't!

I had been eyeing these boots for months and finally bought them as a birthday gift to myself! I wore them to a concert the first night that I got them and they were very comfortable! I received many compliments too!! I'm so happy with the Charcoal color because it's a great neutral and a good in between of Black or Brown!

I bought my first pair several years ago. Have had the best ride in them! They look better with age and the fit is still just amazing! My first pair are brown an I am shopping for a black pair! You can't go wrong with Frye!

I just received these a few days ago, and have been working on breaking them in. I had initially ordered a size 6 in the Smoke color, but decided to order down to a 5 1/2 and in charcoal. I am usually a 5 1/2 in boots with a heel, but was worried about my bunion and high instep. There is plenty of room in the 5 1/2. The charcoal is lovely, but has a hint of brown/tan to it. I have tried to pair it with other dark grey items I have, but it does not look so great. So now I will probably order another pair in tan or smoke, so that I have another neutral to go with the rest of my closet of clothes.

I got them a month ago. Loving them already. The size is good. The style and look are great. The price could have been better. But we pay for craftsmen ship. And they are very well made.

If my house was on fire and I could only grab one (material) possession, it would be my frye boots! I have had them for almost four years and the really do get better with age. I work retail and wear them for long days on my feet. It did take me awhile to break them in, but that is the case with any well crafted boot. They look great with jeans, leggings and dresses.

I bought these about a month ago and I've only gotten to wear them out once. (I have a Frye problem and I have so many to wear; so little time!). These are even cooler that they are in suede. It's a great mute/neutral color which I paired with ivory pants and a black top. It stands up tall like my other harness pair but I imagine it would soften and slouch a bit considering it is suede. I was worried how much my heel slipped, but I have other 7.5 in the harness and I knew they would eventually fit like a glove. It took wearing them around the house for about 2 hours and they are starting to fit like they were tailored for me.

In love! I bought these true to size 8 1/2. They slip a little, but feel good. They do take some time to break in but are so gorgeous I wear them in my pajamas around the house. The tan color is really nice.

Like many others, I coveted these boots for years before I stumbled on a killer sale and had to splurge. What can I say. It was love at first wear. I am a true size 9 in all other shoes - even Frye boots - but these fit me best in an 8½. They took just a few days of devoted wear before they molded to my feet, but they were never uncomfortable. They do eat socks, so I wear them barefoot. These boots are sexy, man. They look great with anything - dresses, leggings, skinny jeans - and are rugged enough I did not think twice wearing them on a short but muddy hike. I have the tan which truly complements any outfit, and now I am eyeballing the charcoal. I am a boot devotee - they are really all I wear - and if I had to keep just one pair it would be these.

I originally purchased the a pair of 12R boots in a 12. The width was comfortable, but the toe are was not. I had to go one size up and used some inserts and they are very comfortable. I bought them in Black. Going to get a Smoke pair as well. These boots are beautifully made.

I'd coveted these boots for months and finally received them as a gift and I'm obsessed! Beautifully made, excellent quality, and I know they'll last me a lifetime. I usually wear a 9.5 and that's what I ordered. I'm still wearing mine in as the other reviews said and considering perhaps returning them for a size 9 as the harness part is a bit uncomfortable on my ankle. I'm hoping this will wear in with time! I've walked miles in them already, though, with no soreness or blisters and received numerous compliments. Love my Fryes!

These are the most beautiful, bad ass boots I have ever had on my feet! It is breaking my heart that I can't wear them because my foot needs a wide width and these boots only come in medium width. I usually wear a size 8, but they run a 1/2 size larger than I needed, so I exchanged them for a 7 1/2. They arrived in 2 days and have to say, Zappos customer service is fabulous ~ they make a exchange or return effortless. I was praying that the Shoe Fairy would somehow make the 7 1/2 size FEEL wider, but of course that was just wishful thinking, and I have to return them. I am crying as I write this. Wanted them SO BAD!!! Frye, please make your boots in a wide width! I had to give the Comfort only one star because of the width problem ~ so sorry...
