The boot is beautiful but it runs VERY big! I'm usually a size 8. 5 maybe 8 and I have a narrow foot so hopefully size 7. 5 fits.

Love these! No break in time, leather quality is everything I was hoping for and the fact that these boots can be cobbled, is a huge plus for me.

This is my second pair of Harness boots and theyre fantastic. Comfortable out of the box with an easy break in time. Classic style that goes with everything and wears in well. Dont hesitate get these boots!

Love these boots and how comfortable they are they look beautiful on you leg but get your normal size do not go up a half size they run a bit big

As soon as I saw these boots, I knew that I had to have them! These Frye 12R Harness boots in PINK are my favorite boots in the world! I have the 8R and 12R in black which I wear all the time! The pink ones are different than the black ones in fit and leather. The pink leather is softer and is wider than the black ones. There is no break-in period. The first time I wore these boots, I was in a store and the lady in back of me told me that she loved my boots and asked me what brand they were. Since then, I've gotten so many compliments on them! What a great boot! Would love to see them in pink suede!

Two stars for the beautiful leather and colors. I ordered both the pink & the argon oil - lovely colors. Although these appear to have a nice somewhat balanced, blocky look in the photos, as others noted, I found them to be extremely long & very narrow around the ball of the foot. If I sized up, they would be impossibly long. The long, narrow appearance looked terrible on my feet. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

I bought these for $20 at a thrift store in 2014. They still hold up nowadays as some of the best shoes Ive owned. Theyre durable, fashionable, and absolutely made for walking. When it comes to say goodbye to my current pair, I think Ill purchase a new set from the source.

I live in my Frye Harness 12R boots. I have them in three colors, and ordering my fourth pair now. After a brief break-in, they are as comfortable as sneakers.

Just received and they fit great! Many of the reviews say they run narrow however I wear a M width in shoes/boots and the width is fine for me. I had a pair in the smoke color until a few years ago but as I have gotten older my feet have gotten bigger and they no longer fit. It broke my heart to take them to consignment. Now I have a new pair and the fit is great. I am a size 10 in boots and the 10 is perfect. I know Ill have these boots for the next 20+ years so for me they are well worth the investment. I bought my first pair of fries harnes 12 about 30 years ago and later bought a second pair. I still have and wear both almost all the time. I simply can't live without them . but to anybody who are buying their first pair you need to know that these boots should start of feeling pretty snug as they completly form to your feet over time and become the most comfortable boots you will ever own , it does take time so be patient

I bought these a few years ago and have barely worn them as the fit is too narrow and I get blisters every time I walk in them. They look beautiful and are really well made but sadly I never managed to break them in.

Based on the price, I went back-and-forth with this purchase. However, the company offers $30 off your first purchase and free shipping. Due to this and great reviews, I ordered them online. However, I didnt realize until it was too late, that when I added the discount code, this changed my order from a size 9, to a size 11. Additionally, I was charged shipping fees. Frustrated I Immediately attempted to switch the size, however, was unable to do so. I didnt waste any time emailing customer service; explaining my dilemma. Customer service responded the next day. I was informed that the order could not be changed, however they could cancel the order and I could re-order the correct size. I responded right away yes please. They then replied it was too late and that my order had been shipped, that I could return them once received. This left me wondering why customer service offered to cancel the order in the first place? I needed the boots for a trip & didnt feel comfortable with an additional charge on my cc. I asked if I could speak with management. I did not hear from customer service again after that. I attempted to call, however was prompted to leave a messageAs of today still no response.

They are beautiful BUT I cant wear these boots because they are too narrow and my feet are not wide. I bought them through the exchange program so I couldnt return them. I wonder if they are actually 9.5 N? It looks like an N and usually there is a B. Is there a way to stretch them out? I also would prefer to wear socks with them since there is absolutely no cushion, but if I wear socks, they are way too tight. I noticed on the inside there is some kind of fabric coating the leather if I take that off, would I be able to stretch them in the width??

I bought these boots in the smoke color some time in the mid 90's. Definitely over 25 years ago. Let me just say, I'm not great about polishing or upkeeping my boots. The uppers on these look exactly the same as the day I bought them. They have a little wear on the soles, but it has been 25 years. I still get compliments on them every single time I wear them. If you are considering investing in a pair, I highly recommend.
