These are the best pair of boots I've ever owned. The leather is second to none. They fit a lil small so I ordered a half size bigger. They are freaking awesome!!!

Very nice workmanship. Great boot. I was very satisfied with the boot.

I liked the black and brown colors but went with the whisky color and saved $100 dollars. I had to go a 1/2 size larger (I have a large instep).

I was expecting to be a lather sole for a rubber sole it seems like a little over priced.

Needed to replace a pair that I had for 15 years and after several resoles, needed new boots.. Glad that nothing changed in the style and workmanship of the boot. Great boot and great service.

I purchased my Frye Harness Boots just over a week ago and like all Frye products, they live up to the quality that you'd expect. Great fit, great look, & very comfortable.

I bought these for my husband, and he got me the women's 12r in the Whiskey. We both love them so much. I have 4 other Harness12r and love them all, but I get the most compliments on the whiskey. My husband says this is his favorite casual Frye boot. He has one a half-size down, and this in his normal size. My others are 7 and my normal is 7 1/2, and I have the whiskey in the 71/2. They do run large, but I think I actually prefer the normal size, to have more room in the fairly narrow toe box. We gave a farm and live in Maine with crazy weather, and all the Harness boots he and I have stand up to all we put them through. Love them! If you're on the fence, go for it.

I'VE HAD THESE 8Rs FOR QUITE A WHILE NOW AND STILL NOT WIDE ENOUGH. TRIED EVERYTHING SHORT OF SWIMMING WITH THEM ON AND WALKING THEM DRY. FROM THE TOES BACK TO THE START OF THE RISING OF THE BODY HAS NO GIVE TO FORM TO MY FEET I NOTICED THE 12R GOING TO WIDE WIDTH, WHY NOT THE 8Rs ALSO, JUST TRIM ABOUT 4 INCHES OFF? TO ME, SOUNDS SIMPLE, USE A KNIFE AND THEN SOW THE TRIMMINGS AT THE VERY TOP. REALLY REALLY GLAD ABOUT THE 12Rs GOING WIDE WIDTH, BUT PLEASE DO NOT STOP THERE

I just got my pair and I'm happy with my purchase! They are very robust so there is a break in period. These are my second pair of frye's! Great boots! Thank you!

Harness 8R is a timeless classic which is my all time favorite. I have an old pair in charcoal, they're 4 years old but still looking awesome. Nothing beats wearing them with a nice pair of boot cut jeans. My recent purchase however was way too small, it's hard to understand since I have the same exact pair (9.5) in a different color while my old pair fits like a glow, I am having a hard time getting these on. I thought the last should be standard for the same models and numbers. I am not sure if I can break them any time soon. I have also attached the photos with the scratches but since this is a rugged style harness, scracthes shouldn't be a major problem.
