Mind-blowing boot - These are REALLY good looking boots. I have been asked on many occasions where I got them and I tell them "The best and biggest shoe store in the world, Zappos!" They were really difficult to put on at first and uncomfortable when walking for long periods of time but THIS IS NORMAL. You want your boot to be tight so it will mold tightly to your foot. I wore them daily for a month and now they are the most comfortable footwear I have EVER owned. They now fit perfectly and are much easier to take on and off. Just make sure you clean them often & care for them well. Frye makes the best boots... period.

Great look and feel! I wear a size 17 in every other shoe I wear so it's not easy to find boots in my size. I bought the size 16 and to my surprise they were a little big on me. Other than that they look great and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

5 star review for Frye Harness 12R - Bought these for Christmas present... my son couldn't wait that long. Beautifully crafted, the gaucho colour was perfect for a university age student. My son said that he likes the style and the fit is perfect. Warm woolen socks are required to withstand the cold winter. We would buy these again!

Excellent Boot and Exceptional Service - The boots are perfect. Classic look and fit. Zappos service is outstanding. My wife has been a Zappos fan for some time and now I know why.

Instantly a classic boot in my day to day activities - So, I decided to give this brand a shot due to the fact that the Carolina engineer boots I wear daily for motorcycling have reached a nice ripe age of over 13 years. Don't get me wrong the Carolinas still feel fantastic but I itched for something more. These have filled that desire very nicely. Pulling them on I am immediately taken by their great fit. They required just a few hours of wear on a warm day to feel just right. Also through the break-in period I noticed that they have an outstanding sole compound giving great traction and feel. No slip and slide in these boots. My toes are in contact with the forefoot area's upper leather but it is becoming less and less of an issue everyday. A great boot and good example of you get what you pay for.

My new Frye's - The look and color of the boot were better than expected. The size didn't really match my usual size worn. I hope with more wear and breaking in, the boots will become more comfortable.

Only Frye Boots - I recently purchased Frye's 12R harness in Brown Rage color and 12R Belted boots in Chestnut Brown and they are both good looking and comfortable. No break in required and the quality of the leather is excellent. Very soft! If you have a pair of boot cut jeans, then you have to get these Frye boots. In terms of service, Zappos provided an excellent performance in shipping these shoes. Always on time! More power to Zappos.

I got this shoe in the Gaucho color, and absolutely love it. It took some getting used to, since it's a very high boot with more of a heel than I'm used to, but it's very comfortable. Felt a bit narrower than most shoes initially, but loosened up after a day of wearing them around. Definitely love the look, and definitely recommend this shoe! Seems like great quality and that it will last forever!

Frye boots - These boots are great. This is my first pair of Frye boots but it definitely will not be the last. New boots are usually a little stiff but these are comfortable to wear right out of the box. The service from Zappos was also excellent.

Great find and great buy - I was so very pleased to find this boot because in 2005 I really wanted this boot but the price tag was $450.00 I was very disapppointed and decided that I really didn't need the boot. Not only do they honor the 110% guarantee but they will even beat it by offering better shipping alternatives to get the product to you faster than the competition. The Sales Staff have been trained to take initiatives that make good business sense when dealing with the customer; something that seems to have been overlooked in most businesses. As for the Frye boots, well they are well made, true to fit and comfortable to wear and have a great look.

What Boots Are Supposed to Be - Not my first pair of boots, but my first Fryes. These boots are so comfortable, well-made and sturdy that I don't anticipate needing to buy another pair for a long time. Excellent workmanship, the kind you don't see often these days. Highly recommended. (I think they look pretty cool, too.)

Outstanding! I had not owned a pair of non-lace up boots in quite a while. I ordered these in a wide as I have slightly wide feet and also flat feet. They were here in 2 business days! Quicker than expected, and I received emails updating me on my order status as well. These boots are extremely comfortable from day one, and are great looking on top of that. I will buy Fryes again, and I will get them from Zappos most definitely! I hope that the Calvary model becomes available in wide (PLEASE!!!!!). :) The Gaucho color is perfect.

Best boots ever - I have been wearing boots since I was a kid. I am now 38 and these are the best boots I have ever worn. I wish I had discovered them sooner. They felt comfortable from the second I put them on and they have become even more comfortable.

My husband loves these boots, had a little trouble getting him a pair that fit but your customer service people are great, he has a wide foot and the first pair was too tight, but we did get another pair that fit. Great boots

A little narrower than expected - These Frye Boots are so awesome! They are very well made and look so retro cool. My husband has a wide foot, so I got him a WIDE pair that were a 1/2 size larger than his normal size...they are still a little too snug, but with thin socks will eventually be OK. If you have a high instep, they are a bit difficult to get on, but BOY IS IT WORTH THE TROUBLE!!!

I am 48 years old & have worn Frye Boots since I was 16 years old. This particular pair is phenomenal, they remind me of the 'original' Harness Boots I wore. A little stiffer at first, a little shinier also. However, the shine breaks in as does the leather. These are a tough full grain leather. They make that leather crackle sound when you twist your foot. They aren't as peachy soft out of the box as some of the others...but they break in beautifully & are well with the price!

Surprised me by needing a size 8 when I take a size 9 usually. Typical of Zappos they replaced my ordered 9 with an 8 immediately and they fit great. Look great and very comfortable.

Have worn Frye boots most of my long life. Always best quality and comfort. Immediately gets lots of attention and comments!
