I've always liked Frye boots and was glad to see these available in my size. They fit right out of the box and I'm very happy with them.

I bought my first pair of Frye Harness boots in 1970. I used them to walk the streets of Wellington, New Zealand, for almost five years as a university student and later to assist in breaking a horse and riding him, my first horseback ride. I have owned many different brands of Western boots since then so I wanted to buy another pair of Frye boots after some 50 years. The fit was superb and the quality was beyond good! It was like coming home! Thank you Frye for maintaining an American Classic for I only buy American made boots.

I have two pairs of these boots.. One in black one in chestnut..Felt a bit big in size. I put in a pair of shoe inserts then I can wear them with light socks.With out the inserts I have to wear heavy socks. Great looking boots but hard to put on.I had to make a special plastic shoe horn so that my foot will slip into the boots. Nice and comfortable once my feet settle into them.

Great, classic boot. Minor fabrication issues.
I'm generally pleased with the Frye harness boot purchase I made from zappos--a great looking boot with a classic design. Zappos shipped this item for free and it arrived several days ahead of its expected arrival date. The fit on these boots is terrific and I am sure I will enjoy them for years to come. For the price, however, I expected more attention to the detail in the construction of the boots. The stitching near the collar of the boot is a little irregular and inexact. Hardly an issue that would prevent me from making a similar purchase in the future.

I'm a 10.5 M and the boot I received is uncomfortably small. I'm not sure if it will loosen up or not. I may need to try to condition them in order to speed the process. It's too bad I wasn't able to try them on before purchasing them.

I'm a boot guy, fell in love with the look of these.
probably into these for 10 years now but only wear a handful of times a year.
I just cannot break them in.
tried wetting/wearing ,cobbler stretches to no avail
I believe the fit is just too narrow
Would love if these could be my dailies but unfortunitley the blundstones are way more comfortable

I just received 2 pairs of boots. The insole on my wife's was non existent. The insole on my size 11's was HUGE. The length and width were perfect. But with the extremely exaggerated insole these boots were floppy as heck. I tried multiple socks and still didn't fill the void. I was considering purchasing a dr scholl to fill the void but then noticed the heal on the left boot was not attached completely. I would. All that very shoddy workmanship. Both pairs are being returned.

I bought these a couple weeks ago, they are beautiful boots however I ordered the polished ones and I have ones that have concrete dust on them and other forms or ways to make them look rustic or broken in, however, I ordered the polished ones.
It was like a sick joke oh, I open the box and put the boots out and concrete dust fell all over my table in carpet. I realize what I ordered, and I understand that they add weathering and antiquing however I believe they have gone too far.
I could not be more disappointed and I have no idea what to do
