I like the color option. The cloth toe with the leather top edge is problematic.

I use my tennies for walking paved surfaces in a hilly neighborhood. They have good support for my heals and good cushioning for the soles of my feet. Even though I buy "wide", I've needed to add a leather patch over the big toe joint Halllux valgus where a bunion is forming.

In 2021 New Balance strung me along with product not available, check back in May 2021. Then will be available in November 2021, strung me along til Feb 2022. A third party alerted me to In Stock Now in August. Yes the wait was long and thank you for stocking this great sneaker/shoe for us old folks.
Yes, I understand the impact Covid had with shipping delays and shut downs.
Anyway, this is a great shoe. Room for better insoles, and tongue cushions. This shoe makes your feet happy. I like New Balance products, and promote the quality, but I cannot promote stringing folks along

I bought these shoes because I stand on my feet for long periods at work and I really like the support they give. I do agree with the others who say that the tongue is too short. I lace my shoes up to the top eyelets and the shorter stiff tongue rubs/bumps against my ankles. I want to keep buying this shoe, so I hope something is done about need to lengthen tongue.

I've been wearing this shoe for years for my plantar fasciitis. They are great! I gave 4 stars cause of one complaint, the tongue is too short and I have to keep pulling it back out. Otherwise comfortable shoe! I measure 9and a half but need a 10 in these shoes.

I have ordered NB online for several years and have always been more than satisfied. This time I ordered the same size have ordered in the past and after wearing them for a couple weeks they are very loose, they flop when I walk. Guessing they now run a bit larger than before. Will probably start going to actual NB store in future for proper fitting.

It is very hard to find a nice looking athletic shoe that has a FIRM sole and a rollbar. I have numerous foot problems -- achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, peroneal tendonitis, arthritis -- and I am still young-ish. But my podiatrist said to get these shoes because they have a firm sole which will take pressure off my joints and tendons and that is exactly what's happened. I am already feeling relief and can walk again without crippling pain. New Balance, PLEASE do not change the firm sole on this shoe! It has just the right amount of cushioning and firmness. I've heard rumors that a new version will be coming out with a "more flexible" sole. PLEASE DO NOT DO THAT! Flexibility is NOT what people buy this shoe for -- it's the opposite of what we need. You've got a million other styles with flexibility. Leave this one alone! (Do however, make the tongue longer and wider. It's too short and slides under the laces.)

These are well built, sturdy shoes that provide me with a sense of stability I don't have with any other shoes in my closet. These are not squishy feeling shoes - but I feel a bit of spring in my step when walking (once again, none of my other shoes feel like this). One thing that is a bit of a puzzle for me (and the reason I'm giving only 4 stars) is that the right shoe feels like I'm wearing a vice on that foot at the end of the day. The left foot is happy as a clam. I took them to a shoe repair place to have the shoe stretched. I am very hopeful this will help.

My present New Balance 928 v3 are 8 2 E When I ordered I was confused as your shoes were measured in Xs I ordered what I thought was a 2 E thinking 2E was equivalent toXX. When I got them they were too wide This is very confusing when ordering

marked as size 6 but is really 5 1/2. It is an older version of this shoe with mesh top. Like the older version. fits well. want to replace it.

I have worn this model shoe for as long as I can remember, but this time it feels slightly smaller. Maybe my feet are swollen since it is summer, but never had this feeling before.

As usual, love the shoes - fit great. Just wish they were still available in white - not a fan of the black

I gave it a 4* rating only because my feet hurt all the time, if they didn't it would warrant a 5* rating. I very much need the roll bar because of overpronation in one foot. They are the only shoe that helps. I do wish they would come in more fashionable styles. I've been trying to get white for a very long time but that just isn't happening so I've settled with black with no other choice. My doctors tell me I am wearing the best shoe so cudos to New Balance.

The shoe was nice, but I have a narrow foot. Even though I ordered 2A I had a finger width of room and could feel my foot sliding side to side. Not good for hiking.

I have worn this style for many years and find them quite comfortable. I just wish you were still selling them in blue.

They looked great but unfortunately we're a little snug. Usually wear a nine but my toe was hitting the top of the shoe. Too bad I had to return them.

I purchased these shoes as my new walking shoes - I walk 3-5 miles daily. I was looking for something that would support my weak ankles and flat feet, which these do. They are a bit stiff (at least at first) and won't win any fashion prizes, but I feel they give me good support for my feet.

I ordered the tan/ neutral smooth leather in 8 4E. Does not feel like a 4E width. Not even as wide in the forefoot as my old pair of another model of New Balance women's shoe just marked W. Unfortunately I can't find that model anymore. I can get my feet into this pair, but when I take a few steps I can feel my little toes squished and pushing against the side of the shoe in a way that will end up being very painful if I try to wear these for any distance. My feet have been wide from birth - medium in the heel, wide at the forefoot/ toes. Then as an adult the big toe joints started turning into bunion joints, widening my forefeet even more. Just like my mother, and several people I know who I am not related to, so I know there are a lot of us out there. Really wish it were easier to find shoes, and also that once I find a pair that fits that the company would keep manufacturing it!

I use these every day. Very comfortable. I Don't buy any other sneakers. Years ago my podiatrist described the sneakers to use. These fit the bill. No foot problems since.
Just wish they'd stick the grey in my size. I'd love a second pair in this color.

I ordered size 6, width of 2E(double wide). When the shoes came, I fit my feet in, it was too tight. They hurt my toes.
It was a good pair of shoes, but did not fit. I return the item and order the other model of New Balance Thanks to the help of customer service on the phone to direct me how to return the order.

The heel is higher than I'm used to wearing and this makes my knees hurt. I hope to get used to it. My everyday shoes are the New Balance 1540v2 and v3.
