I bought these shoes towards the end of October and absolutely loved them! I have worn them quite a bit and based on how much they cost I was guessing they were going to last me a long time. I was wrong! I am super disappointed that after less than three months the sole of the shoe cracked in half from left to right making them unwearable. These are great shoes but bad quality.

Love the style of this bootie, but my arch is too high and the wide I ordered is not a wide. Disappointed SoftWalk, really expected more out of you.

Beware! These run narrow. I recently order 3 different SoftWalk boot styles in 9W and they all were narrow throughout the mid-section of the foot. They also all have narrow toe boxes--not all designed for wide feet. I am in my twenties and have wide feet from a bone standpoint (I don't need wide calf boots) I normally wear 9W or 9WW, depending on the brand and style. For example, I own Clarks in a 9WW and I just purchased a SoftSpots in 9W.

The fit was great, I liked the cushioned insole, but they gave off that horrible chemical smell, as if they have been dipped in dog poo. That off-gassing smell never goes away, so I will be returning these.

This is so bizarre...a couple of the reviews complained that the shoes they received had a white substance like white paint on the sole of the shoe. I looked at the photos and you can actually SEE the white spray on the 2 "dusty suede" colors ("Sand Dusty Suede" and "Graphite Dusty Suede". It's on the soles and some of it is on the suede material. Someone took a picture of them like that. Also I looked at the description and it says, "Some colors offer a worn-in dusty finish for added style." I would have never noticed that without having read the reviews. Thank you for the heads up.

I loved these boots online, but when they arrived they have been spray-painted on the soles and around the bottom edge of the boot with white paint!
