Disappointed ... I have this boots in other colors and have been pleased. Unfortunately, this boot's color is definitely not as pictured on the website. .. . It is more orange than tan. Will be returning.

Runs smaller than other styles, color not as pictured (saddle), overpriced

unfortunately they didn't look anything like the pictures, the burnished toe and darker color were not true to the pair I received. I ordered 2 pairs from the same brand and the other boot fit perfect in the same size and looked exactly like the picture. So back these go.

Too small - couldn't get foot in boot. Also suede was worn on the toe

These boots are so cute but they appeared to have been worn or returned. The suede is worn off on the toes and on the heels. The bottom also looks like they have been worn. These boots should not have been sold as new. Very disappointing....

I have two other pairs of shoes in this style and size and they fit perfectly - 8 WW. This pair was too narrow. They were even too narrow for my daughter who wears a wide, not double wide.

As mentioned by other reviewers here, I order this brand a fair bit and at their prices I expect a certain level of quality. A mere few wears of these boots, and the 'leather' heel began to shred, rip off and come apart to reveal plastic underneath, SO CHEAP. Now they just look absolutely horrible and for the amount of money I invested in these boots, this simply won't do. What a shame that this brand cut corners on the manufacturing and make of the heel of this boot. I will not buy this brand again.

Cheap heels - coming apart. Overpriced for the poor quality of the heel. Everything else is great about the boot but it does run narrow

I have had this item for awhile now and have been very disappointed with it. At first I thought they were going to be comfortable, but the shoe seems very cheap and not good quality especially for the price. I can literally feel the street through the sole. There is the cushion but after that the sole is basically nothing. I can feel the cracks of the street and my feet become freezing immediately no matter how warm of socks I wear because there is just nothing between your foot and the street. Also they do not look as sleek as the photo or as other booties. They are a bit clunky looking. The suede does not look nice either and wears quickly. These are soooooo not worth the price, I’d say they are worth about $25.

What? I have the Sam edelman petty boots and wanted a version in black with a rounder toe. I thought these would work but they just look so damn ugly and cheap. Nothing like the Sam Edelman ones. They are also not as round toe in reality as they are in the photos. Sadly they look cheap looking and unflattering. The search for a flat wide width ankle boot in black with no buckles continues. Sigh.

These boots were not nearly as nice as I thought they'd be. And within two months the plastic wood veneer on the heels had fallen off and they had completely lost their shape. I had them less than six months and had to throw them out.

I love these boots except that the heels wore down after only a few weeks. They are so comfortable but I can’t wear them due to the worn heels. I even looked for a different style SoftWalk boot but they all have the same heel with bad reviews!!

I have an extrm high arch and wear a 10 in Vionic Muir sandals, and an 11W in Vionic shoes, but Vionic booties styles are too tight around the top of my foot, and too narrow in the heel. I tried these in WW, and while the footbed of the bootie has a nice arch, it hits right in the center of my foot, no where near the outer edge!!! WHT???

The heel is "fake" wood piece of paper glued on plastic. So disappointed! these boots felt great and looked good, but the paper started peeling off immediately. I really hope the company fixes this manufacturing short cut. I'm returning them cuz I can't imagine it even lasting one walk on a city street with the slightest bit of weather.

CHEAPLY MADE. The heel is plastic with some fake wood grain glued on. The fake wood grain started peeling off immediately. These are going back. Other than that, they're a nice boot. I'm going with a pair of Blondos.

I received these today and they are being returned today. Zappos, you should stop offering these boots. The ones I received had the heel covering peeling and now after reading reviews that seems to be a running theme. The manufacturer should be ashamed charging this price for such poor quality.

I ordered a W but instead of being wide only in the toe box, the entire boot is too wide, so much that the heel is sloppy. I'm thinking that most people with wide feet need a shoe that's wide in the toe box only. This isn't the first time I've ordered a W and had the entire shoe be hugely wide. My wide Brooks running shoes have it right - wide in the toe box, regular in the rest of the shoe. I had to return them. Still looking for the right boot.

The leather is very stiff. After an hour of wearing them the top of the shoe started cutting into my skin. DON'T BUY!

I had high hopes for these boots, they look great and they are very comfortable. However, as other reviewers mentioned, the construction is shoddy. The finish on the heel peeled off quickly. I've worn them for 3 seasons (I have a sedentary office job), and both soles developed holes with metal pieces peeking out. For the price, I expected better.

Very cute but the design was awful on the front. The shoe cut into my skin so badly that I was bleeding after a few hours of wear. Sad to say, but they're going back.

I loved these for a short time because the cheap coating around the heel began shriveling and peeling off. The leather is so soft and the shoe is so comfortable. They look great with everything, in my opinion, and the heel height is practical enough for me to wear all of the time. Sadly, they decided to skimp on quality when they designed the heel, which makes them not worth the cost for me.
