I wanted to love these... the footbed feels amazing, but the top of the shoe around the ankle is really rigid and unforgiving. It was very uncomfortable. Also note the leather will have a distressed look, showing everything.

No white paint on mine, not sure what the other reviews are talking about, but looks like they fixed that problem. These boots are SUPER comfortable but my issue with them is that the sole is very slippery - I have fallen and skinned my knees twice in one week and I haven't done that since I was like 12 years old!

Color as pictured, although the distressing was strange. The boots looked scuffed rather than distressed. I probably would have kept them but they felt way too small. I'm usually a true 8, but these boots were too tight in the toe box.

Unfortunately, these run too wide. As other reviewers said, the heel is strangely wide. I'll try and insert and, if this doesn't work, they'll have to go back. It's a pity, because they're very stylish.

Well, I love the look and the lower heel is my only option these days. But who has heels this wide in proportion to their toes? It is also very long in the toe box. It's the strangest fitting shoe I've come across in a long time. My heels slips so much its like I'm wearing flip flops. One of the zippers is faulty and in trying them on I almost got stuck in them because the zipper would not open. These will go back. In the meantime, I have ordered a half size smaller in both medium and wide, because I really love the way they look. I just wonder who designed the fit, and if they would fit a man's foot better!

I bought the black boots with the cute animal print in the back. I usually wear 8.5 N, which in this shoe runs larger. The 8N fits closer, but there is a problem with the front top of the boot digging into the front of my leg close to the foot when I walk. I think it is going to cause a blister. Haven't seen anyone else complain about this. I'll walk around the house for a few days and see if the leather softens up. Really cute boot with that print in the back. Hope it works out.

I was skeptical that Rocklin could make a stylish boot, and that turned out to be valid. I have the Sam Edelman Petty boots and they are amazing, but I wanted a black pair with a wooden heel, rather than a black heel. These seemed to fit the bill, and they are incredibly similar - except that the toe is very round and shiny and the heel is lower, resulting in a really unflattering look, especially if you have large feet.

Very comfortable and really cute but there is white paint all over the sole and on the suede, looks like they were spray painted by accident! Just got them today but going back tomorrow. So disappointed.

So wide! I thought it was mis-sized for a moment. Double checked order slip, box and shoe itself. Not narrow. Didn't come close to being narrow enough, on my heel, especially. Never wear a slim size, either. Just a true narrow.

I like the look of the she, but just very uncomfortable for me.

The boots fit nicely, but the picture looked like it had a black sole and heel. It actually had a wood sole and heel. Not what I was looking for so it is going back.

The ankle area was much too wide, I could not keep my heel from slipping. I have these in black suede purchased a few years ago and that pair fit great and was made much better.

Unfortunately these hit right at my ankle bone. Very uncomfortable.

Unfortunately, boots made in China have the same sole no matter the width, heel area was too large.

I have this pair in another season suede. The heel cup feels awful. It feels flat against heel and rubbs my heel. I wear a 9N.

I sent these back because they were rubbing on my ankles (right under the ankles) and it hurt.

Fit was very odd.

They weren't comfortable

These boots are quite comfortable, but the color is a purple-ish blue, and it's particularly noticeable in the sunlight. Not happy with the color. Unfortunately I didn't notice the purple color until after I had worn them because I had been wearing them at night in lower light.

Toebox too shallow for me and bootie cut too low on ankle

Very comfy boot but the heel unfortunately comes apart . Little chunks of it hang on off. I wish they update how the heels are constructed and I’d buy one in every color.

Just not wide enough for my very wide feet.

I already have a pair of these and ordered a new pair in the same size and width. This new pair seems so much wider and bulkier than the previous pair.
