Good, comfortable shoe for a decent price. However, it scuffs relatively easily so it doesn't hold the new or newly polished look very long.

Handsome shoes. I normally wear a size 10 but that size was large on me. The 9 1/2s were better but did have some rub spots until broken in. I think they'll be OK for what I wanted them for.

Good shoe. Nice style. Gave me a blister. Needed some breaking in. Good now.

Great look, but runs narrow - My feet are an average 9M, but these felt very narrow and a bit undersized. Like some Italian shoes do. The quality was top notch, as was the look and the leather, so I was dissapointed they didn't work out. Zappos took them back no questions with a prepaid UPS label. How easy!

This is a very well built shoe that is extremely comfortable. When I received this pair though, the brown finish was blemished in a few spots, so I only wear as a casual shoe. Still, you can't go wrong.

2nd pair - These are very comfortable shoes. This is the second pair that I have owned and will buy them again. They fit like old shoes from day one.

Good Working Shoe - The Tuscana is a comfortable shoe for the business casual office. If going from office to social event, Tuscana blends well into casual if you don't want to tote a pair of loafers.

This is my third pair of Bostonian Toscana shoes. Unfortunately, Bostonian moved manufacturing from Italy to India. Assembly quality and finish is well below the Italian version. One shoe has black pen marks around the tongue. The leather seems thinner. The price is $5 less than when I purchased a black pair in late 2008. But I would rather pay more to get better quality.

Re: Bostonian Tuscana - I like the shoe, it is functional, and economical. I only wish that you would carry more variety in the Men's Wide size 6.5, I would really have liked this shoe and the others that I have bought before in a size 6.5.

Update of 11/10/2003 review for Bostonian Tuscana - Having worn these shoes for a half year now, I have a different impression of the Bostonian Tuscana model since my original review on 11/10/2004. Since the software on this site doesn't give me the capability to do an update of my original review, I am writing a new review. The same comments about good fit right out of the box still applies, no break-in required. The leather is very soft. The problem is with the weak glue weld which led to separation of the leather and the sole at the flex point (the ball area) of the forefoot. My shoes had never gotten wet. The weld separation was simply caused by a weak welt. Also the finish is not durable at all. Mine's all faded and dull as well as all scratched up in the toe box. My Irish-made Clarks were much more durable (don't know how durable are the Chinese versions). The sole shows a moderate amount of wear. It's more durable than either leather sole or some foam rubber soles, but not as durable as polyurethane soles. Overall I only consider these to be average shoes, not particularly durable, not particularly dressy, just average.

The shoes are very comfortable. I have always liked Bostonian shoes and these are no exception. They feel and look great. I would definitely buy them again.

I ordered this shoe for my husband in a 10.5 Wide. Great looking shoe, nice color, nice style. He found it to be 1/2 size too large so I ordered the 10. The second pair fit better length wise but of alas it is not quite wide enough and to the best of my knowledge no wider size is available. Too bad, really great shoe but back it goes.

Gorgeous shoes, but the round shoe laces that come with the shoes will not stay tied. That's the only reason I downgraded these shoes for comfort.

Excellent quality and fit. Comfortable right out of the box, with no break-in period required. Did not pinch toes (I have a slightly wide foot and my normal shoe size in D medium width fit perfectly). Looks sharp and well-made. My 10th pair of Bostonians, but my first Tuscana--it's my favorite.

These are nice looking, comfortable and well made shoes. They run true to size and can be dressed up or down. I am very happy with the purchase and with Zappos' excellent service.

Awesome shoes! I do a lot of walking with them and they are very comfortable. They are also elegant enough to be able to use them at the office.

My husband is incredibly picky about his shoes. He doesn't like most for comfort reasons, but this is the only dress shoe he will wear and has worn for the last 10 years since before this was the Tuscana when it was the Strada.

I am a repeat customer of these shoes from Zappos (I own both black and brown). They are extremely comfortable and I feel they have a classic style that lasts. The 2nd brown pair had a couple of stitches come loose on me within a week of buying them, but they have held up fine and it is not really noticeable. Zappos is a great place to buy shoes. Customer service is top notch and I am able to find great shoes for my wider than average feet.

Very comfortable and stylish -- perfect as a shoe to wear to the office or a night out.

I purchased these Bostonian shoes in brown to use as "day wear" with my Scottish clan kilt and tweed jacket. Wore them this past weekend to march in the 2011 Alexandria, VA Christmas Walk parade. They felt great even without a break-in period. They have the look of no-nonsense elegance and all day comfort which makes them perfect for my needs.

These are comfortable, well made shoes. I wore these for an entire day right out of the box with no problems. They\'re good looking and appear to be durable.
