The shoe is a little tight in the toe area (but only in the left shoe...weird), but overall, I'm happy with them. They look great and they are a good value for leather soled shoes.

I\'ve had these shoes for 2 years and have worn them to death (out dancing, out on long walks, to work, at formal events) and they still look almost new. And I find them to be basically as comfortable as sneakers. Great shoes!

Best business shoe I've ever worn. The Bostonian Akron takes little or no time at all to mold and conform to the shape of my feet. Other shoes of lesser quality can cause pain for days and days. But the Bostonian Akron becomes one with my feet in days.

I have been loyal to the Bostonian brand for some time now due to the high quality shoes they make to fit my large, wide feet. Not only are these shoes comfortable and stylish they are also high quality. The leather on every pair I have ever owned has withstood the rain, sleet, snow and summer heat without issue. I am usually replacing/patching the sole before the shoes show any sign of wear.

This shoe a solid value and I've owned a few pairs over the years. One fit issue, however, should be noted. The sides are cut about one-quarter inch higher than the similar shoe by Cole Haan (which I prefer to these). The result for some will be annoying or even slightly painful contact with the ankle bone, especially with thin socks.

When I ordered I had read a review of the product. I was looking for a dress shoe made in the USA and Bostonian I thought was still USA made. So much to my surprise, but I am pleased with the shoe and its construction and the price was right on. Your service is 5 star.

Took a little while to break in, but these shoes are excellent. I have given them quite some abuse and they have held up well. Even after having almost worn through the sole, the shoe still looks great. I am buying my second pair of these and might buy a third pair as a backup. Felt true to size for a 15.

This is my third pair. The shoe looks more expensive than it is and is made from quality material. I work in a school and they do scuff pretty easy and are probably not meant for the wear and tear I put on them but I wish they were more comfortable inside.

Simple and classic black leather shoe. Comfortable for dinner or parties, but probably not healthy for daily use.

Solid dress shoe for the price. Goes well with a suit or just slacks. Like many new shoes it took a couple of weeks to loosen them up and make them feel as comfortable as my previous pair. They aren't there yet, but they are on their way. And of course, buying through Zappos.com saves so much time. Very satisfied.

Excellent accompaniment to my Tux! Good leather heeled shoes for dancing. Flexible enough, yet not mushy. Laces stayed tied the entire evening.

What a great shoe! I have had the black Akron for over three years and it has been nothing but excellent. When it came time to buy a dress shoe to go with my navy and brown suits, this seemed like the perfect option. I've had it for a few weeks now and it has definitely lived up to my expectations!

At first open, they were a little stiff, but comfortable. After wearing them for 4 (10 hour) days the leather loosened and were more comfortable. It has been 3 weeks since I started wearing them, and they are by far my favorite shoes. I bought a black and burgundy pair and both are great! I can wear these all day without being uncomfortable. I walk or am standing for 95% of my day and they are comfortable for all 10 hours. I ordered the wide shoe and they fit perfectly. I will be buying more!

This is a great shoe, I bought a this shoe is a different color about 5 years ago and it still looks semi new. The shoe keeps a great shine and is easy to clean on the out side. Bostonian makes a great shoe that will last for years. I tried several different types of shoes from money and this is my favorite one out of all of them.
