Very good shoe! I bought it for a very picky actor that needed a shoe that could be both a period day wear shoe and a formal shoe. This was shiny yet casual with the cap toe detailing. I will be purchasing these again in the future!

Great shoe - This is a very good looking shoe. Very sleek. The way shoes used to look like. Great with a suit or tux.

Excellent shoes! Well made and comfortable. Outer leather was not as soft as I hoped, but with a little break-in it should be just fine. With this smooth leather sole, I'm hitting that dance floor soon!

Bostonian Canton - Good shoe. Have had this style before for years. A classic. However, this one, like some others, has a hard time keeping the laces tied. I don't get it.

A Very Good Shoe - It's comfortable and looks good. The perfect all around shoe. For me it was worth every penny.

Good value shoe - This shoe is a good value for the price. I am currently on my second pair of this model. I wear the shoes every day and they have held up well. The only thing I do is use a shine sponge on them every other day or so to keep them looking shiny and new.

Why buy anything else? It's simple, for the money you can't go wrong! If style, comfort and price is what you have in mind, then look no further you have found your shoe.

Great Shoe!!! This shoe was a perfect value for me and very comfortable. I find the shoes to be comfortable to walk in and they maintain a decent shine with little assistance. Great shoe for the price and Zappos fabulous service is the icing on the cake!

Bostonian Shoes - I have purchased Bostonian shoes from a shoe store in the past. The pair I ordered on line is great. I found the multiple views of the different styles to be very helpful in making a selection. I would definitely order though your company the next time I purchase a pair of shoes.

Very Satisfied 1st Time Shopper - I was pleasantly surprised how quickly my Zappos order was filled. I ordered on Saturday afternoon and my shoes arrived on Monday. While I have several other pairs made by the same company, Zappos easy return policy removed any discomfort I may have had about buying shoes online. I'll definitely do it again.

Best lace up for the price - I've worn a lot of lace up dress shoes over the last 45 years. These are the best for comfort, fit, and durability, and they look damn spiffy too. The first pair of Cantons I wore, I got as a substitute for a defective pair of shoes (similar style, different brand) from Larry's Shoes in San Antonio. I was so impressed with the comfort, durability and style, that I have bought 2 more pairs in the intervening years. The cap toe takes a brilliant shine (if that's your thing) and the styling is classic yet not stuffy or "boxy" looking.

Classy shoes - This is a great shoe at a great price. The only reason I gave it four stars for comfort is because after all it is a dress shoe not slippers. One thing to remember is this is a leather sole shoe not rubber. Just something to take into consideration if you do a lot of walking.

Good shoe for the money - I have owned this shoe for about a year, I wear them almost everyday to the office. Soles wear out quickly with daily wear since soles are leather. Very comfortable, the wide width is perfect for wider feet like mine.

Great shoe at a fair price. Clergyman here and these are my "preaching shoes". I was very happy with previous Bostonians, having them resoled a number of times. Buying at Zappos saved me time and money. Very happy with the shoe...hope my preaching does as well!

Bostonians & Zappos are Great! I'm on my fifth pair of Bostonians and love them. They feel great, look great, and wear well. I wear size 15 dress shoes daily and these are absolutely the best available for a reasonable price (something I'm not used to!). First time Zappos buyer and the turnaround and packaging was outstanding. Thanks!!!

Great Shoes - Good fit, after two weeks comfort increased as the shoes got broken-in. Great classic dress shoe look.

Awesome shoe! I was looking for a shoe that was simple and really comfortable and fit right, and this was definitely the one to get! I’m going to order another pair. You won’t find another shoe like this at this price.
