Sadly had to return these. Fit was surprisingly uncomfortable.

This review is related to the Moto Leather Birch Vans slip-on. I have done a review on their classic canvas slip-ons which I LOVE, but the leather version was not great for me. I bought it in my normal 7 size, and it felt very narrow/tight and also shorter (my toes brushed up against the tip when they don't in the canvas). The overall look was the same as the canvas, and I wanted to love it, but it just didn't work for me in the leather. In the future, if I try the leather versions, I think I'll have to go up a half-size to one-size bigger to accomodate the tighter feeling of the leather. On a side note, I like the off-white color of the leather and the ribbing was a subtle but added some nice texture and flair to the shoe.

These are not my first pair of Vans and I was looking for another pair that was unique. I love the color of the gray/violet. What I am very disappointed by is the front of the shoe constantly hitting the top of my foot. With each step the top of the shoe digs into the top of my foot. I think the material/color makes this material seem stiffer than my previous canvas pair. Overall the size fit me perfectly, with or without low cut socks.

Photo looks like Cream suede with a white sole. Vans “Ambrosia” suede is actually a mint/pistachio colour. Returning now.

I read to go a half size smaller but that's not true. But also these are so crazy stiff I could barely even get my foot into it, let alone walk comfortably. I don't understand the popularity.

My first pair of slip ons and they are too tight.

Love the color and style, but shoe very heavy! Had hoped for a casual but lightweight summer slip-on shoe.

I love the look of these shoes and thought they would be perfectly comfortable. BUT!! After wearing them for one day, I developed huge blisters—above the heel and below the achilles tendon—on each foot. Just excruciating! Upon closer inspection, there is an extremely hard area at the top back of the shoe, almost as if metal was embedded inside. It looks to be where the shoe is stitched together. I have a normal foot, and no foot conditions that would have contributed to the discomfort. Having worn them, I can't send them back. I'm very disappointed that this was a wasted purchase for me.

Really tight leather and hard to put on, even with my feet being pretty slender. They look awesome but didn't fit very well. Very hard to put on and I'm not sure they would ever really loosen up.

Wow. I ordered these and another of the Classic Slip-on in another fabric design and I couldn't even get these on my feet, the material was so stiff. I know I have a higher arch and that the top of my foot sometimes gets rubbed on shoes, but I've never had a problem even getting them on! Thankfully, the other material was more forgiving and much easier to get on and I can't wait to wear!

This is my first pair of Vans and I'm very disappointed with these shoes. The soles are so thin it feels like I'm walking barefoot. After a few hours my feet ache from having zero arch support or cushion on the bottom of the shoe.

I love the look of these shoes and the sole is comfortable but the stitching on the inside rubs on the top of my foot and causes sores. I have skinny feet and have never had this sort of issue before. I bought two pairs of vans and both rub in different places but they were where the stitching is on the top of my foot. It didn't happen until after I had worn them for a few hours outside. It feels like poor craftsmanship and materials.

I could not get even get my toes into the shoe so I cannot comment on the comfort, style, width or arch support. I ordered my size and they were way too small. Of course, I sent them back.

These shoes were such a disapointment. They were so comfortable and great looking but fell apart after wearing just 4 times... These 4 times were just to run errands, grocery store, carpool, out to dinner. NO major activity or anything and by the 4th day they were ripping where the soul meets the material. I was so disappointed as they were SO comfortable and honestly looked fantastic.

Not sure if I just need to be persistent in breaking them in but I thought the "tongue" of this shoe (aka the top part) was extremely stiff. The shoes rubbed a raw red area into where my foot meets my ankle. Barring this, I guess the shoe seemed like it had the potential to be comfortable.

I have many pairs of Vans and I'm not sure what they did with this particular design/fit. They are so deep or the back comes up so high that it tears up my heals. I've tried wearing them 2x for long periods and end up with bloody heals; I even put in thing gel pads to raise my foot height to no avail. So disappointed as they are adorable.

I was really disappointed in these Vans. I have several pairs of these slip ons but this material looked cheap! Not real leather (obviously) but they don't even try to make it look close to real. Also it was a hard material which made them uncomfortable. I'll definitely stick to the original cloth in the future!

So sad, but these just didn't work for me. I'm pregnant, and I wanted cute sneaks to wear with jeans and leggings. I purchased the burgundy perforated leather in a size 7, my normally size. They are a touch small, though still fit. They looked great on - the leather is nice quality and the color is as it appears on the screen. But, I have a skinny foot, and the shoe comes up so high on the front of my foot that it immediately bothered me. I could almost feel a blister start to pop up within five minutes of wearing. I was tempted to keep them because of how cute they are, but a pregnant woman need not be uncomfortable!

This review is for the peach suede perforated. The shoe is gorgeous - I absolutely love the way it looks and feels. However, after just a couple of weeks (so about 2 weeks, 8 or so wears) the left shoe started to rip. And has continued to rip and the right has since started to rip too. This may because my feet are slightly wide (not quite a C or W) but this has never happened before and I own 3 other pairs of Vans but none suede perforated. So that being said - love them but they definitely do not last!

This shoe is not a slip on. It's a tug on. And I should've been warned away when the sizing is "women's/men's." What that translates to is a masculine cut that makes it hard to put on. Fail.

I ordered a women's 6.5 (my true size) and had to work really hard to get my feet into these shoes. Definitely a half size too small! Also, the sole felt really heavy and not something I would want to wear everyday. I live in Tom's and those are so light and comfy I feel like I'm walking on air. Given the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I was disappointed.
